Patch Update #711 - Released 23rd December 2022

  • New skins have been added to Ultra Containers — Hornet GT and Isida GT
    • (Note) Together with them, the previously added Viking GT and Thunder GT can also be obtained from Ultra Containers
  • The default skin of the Isida turret updated to the new HD version
    • (Note) The turret even has a charge indicator now! This skin is so cool, we hope you will like it!
  • Firebird
    • Range of min damage increased from 12-15 to 12-20 m.
    • Displaying sight mark distance changed to 17-25 m.
  • Freeze
    • Range of min damage increased from 12-15 to 12-20 m.
    • Displaying sight mark distance changed to 17-25 m.
  • Isida
    • «Broadband radiators» augment
      • Increased the price from 149,000 to 245,000 crystals
  • Tesla
    • Regular damage decreased from 450-900 to 300-600 HP
    • Critical damage decreased from 450-900 to 410-820 HP
    • Chain lightning reload duration decreased from 0.9 to 0.66 s
    • «Minus-field» augment
      • Increased the price from 149,000 to 245,000 crystals
  • Hammer
    • Critical damage decreased from 630-1260 to 555-1110 HP
  • Smoky
    • «Autocannon» augment
      • Removed the decrease of critical hit chance
      • Removed the decrease of projectile speed
      • Rarity changed to Legendary, no longer available for crystals and is added to the «Legendary» category of containers
  • Striker
    • «Remote rocket explosives» augment
      • Increased the price from 149,000 to 245,000 crystals
  • Scorpion
    • Arcade reload time increased from 4.5-3.0 to 4.8-3.2 s.
    • Artillery reload time increased from 27-18 to 28.5-19 s.
    • Range of min damage increased from 120-150 to 150-180 m.
  • Railgun
    • Shot reload time decreased from 4.4-2.4 to 4.2-2.4 s.
    • Shot warm-up time changed to 1.6-1.2 s.
    • Range of min damage increased from 120-150 to 150-180 m.
    • «Electromagnetic accelerator «Scout» augment
      • Regular damage decrease changed to -15%
      • Critical damage decrease changed to -15%
      • Shot warm-up time decrease changed to -15%
      • Reload time decrease changed to -15%

    • «Round destabilization» augment
      • Regular damage decrease changed to -50%
      • Critical damage increase changed to +20%
      • Fixed critical damage chance of 50%
      • Rarity changed to Legendary, no longer available for crystals and is added to the «Legendary» category of containers
    • «Large caliber rounds» augment
      • Regular damage increase changed to +33%
      • Critical damage increase changed to +33%
      • Added a shot warm-up time increase of 25%
      • Reload time increase changed to +25%
    • «Death Herald» compulsator» augment
      • Removed the shot warm-up time decrease
    • «Hyperspace rounds» augment
      • Damage is again distance-dependent
  • Gauss
    • Sniping mode aiming time increased from 1.5-0.6 to 1.5-0.8 s.
    • Sniping mode reload time increased from 6.9-5.0 to 7.2-5.0 s.
  • Crisis
    • Disabled supply auto-activation
    • (Note) We have seen your feedback asking for an option to disable supply auto-activation. While analyzing it, we noticed that most of such requests come from players who use the Crisis drone. We decided to disable this feature just for this drone instead of adding an option to disable or enable it.
  • The radar shows all tanks that are within a radius of 90 meters around the player's tank (instead of 60 m.)
    • (Note) Some may have noticed that the radar began showing targets further already last week. After this experiment, we decided to implement this change to the game officially. Now, the difference between the radiuses of radar circles is 30 m.
  • Fixed Tesla Legacy skin’s bug — the claws of the emitters were moving in the wrong direction, not like it works on the HD skin
  • Minor changes in in-game texts

If you are long time player,

You may remember this augment was 245000 at start,

Then people not know how to effective, no one use it,

So they decrease the price to 149000,

Then some one show how effective with old assult drone and kill lots of people on hornet in future map, this augment back to people eye as a fun augment 

Now back to 245000 price

Looks like Destabilization will be good again. ? Lots of buffs today.

Glad the shot warmup time is shortened.
Scout has 1.02 sec delay and LCR has 1.5 sec delay which is still shorter than the previous 1.6.

Scout: 1139 normal, 1589 critical, 2.04 sec reload
LCR: 1782 normal, 2487 critical, 3 sec reload
RDS: 670 normal, 2244 critical

Another big patch without Shaft QOL improvements ?

I remember when Firebird and Freeze had their range nerfs last year, I barely saw anyone complaining about it, if at all. I wonder if a similar silence will be had with the range going back to what it was.

The first time a turret has lower than x1 critical damage. This throws in a wrench everywhere from Booster to Crisis to Blunderbuss.

First of all, I LOVE THE NEW ISIDA HD, for me it is the best HD skin for now. and I liked the change in the supplies with crisis, here you can see how the developers DO listen to the players, keep it up!

Imagine introducing a feature that no one ever asked for and when people dislike it you just give the option to disable it only to a minority of the player base.

A bit, yeah since you can find variety is more places. I'd still rather use Sorted Ammunition as my critical hit augment since its gimmick is precisely what I loved about Smoky.

Autocannon went from being so useless "that players using it before should have been kicked out of match for sabotaging" to status of just garbage. It is still improvement, +15% dps is +15% dps, what can I say. However, if something starts from just 401 dps and goes to 472 dps, barely anything has changed. Stock smoky has 565 dps, so this is still outright downgrade. But ig this is step in the right direction, other changes to the augment help a little bit as well, more like +Qol.

 

Other changes are good. I have used gauss, it was op, deserved nerf.

It needed it tbh. This meta favors camping/burst damage e.g Vacuum Shells, Hyperspeed Rounds, Gauss, Helios, Scorpion etc. Melee turrets excluding Tesla were getting left in the dust.

Now this explains the high ping times and the "RuntimeException: Service class Battleservice not registered in OSGi"! True to its form, a patch update never fails to break Tanki!  I guess you will never learn that the developers should not try to develop anything new because it is guaranteed to muck things up!

I am a long time player and i remember that "augments" used to cost 25,000 Crystals! Sure it seems inflation in Russia is running rampant!

These takes are probably going to be so hot that it'll look like they came from the surface of the sun, but I'm going to miss Autocannon having the title for Biggest Meme Augment. It'd be pretty funny if the game had more obviously-bad augments, just for fun (or a challenge for players to do as well as they can with a weak augment)

Why they avoid blue lights now? In the past every skin that have sth light-related, than it is blue. This is strange. Like they give up on making HDs in one style and just focused on making cool looking skins (its not only lights). They obviously can do pretty stylized lines of skins (look at TX and their M0, M1, M2 skins), but for some reason didn't.

I'd prefer simplistic skins in one style that that. Like look at these three:

They all looking very nice, but kinda belongs to different artstyles. And look at those (M0 and M2 from TX):

Bring a Pre-Assist for the Striker's aim, small, and also the red scope of "shot ready to fire" shows which side is ready, left or right. Maybe changing the color, red to right side and orange to left side.

Sad they nerfed tesla damage, but atleast the reload is alittle faster. Ya, would be good to have that READY TO FIRE on striker for which pod.

Also a STRAFE keybind so you can use HOVER HULLS keyboard only properly, I just can't use mouse/key control.

Nice to see Rail too had some improvements, I rarely use it nowadays.

since these new up dates my hunter and ricochet combo is garbage. I can't even get a winning team , also struggle to get in the top 3 placements

here is proof of the postings in the middle of the battle page needs to be redo.. we have to struggle to look around the words to see the battle

To be honest, I'm not some kind of a skin collector, so I won't really care if I'll get this skin or not. They only give unique look and I don't use it. I prefer to use the default skin. If you want to use those skins, go ahead, if you don't want to, simply change into default one. Simple and logic.

About the Isida GT skin, it looks kinda similar to the HD version, I have seen a few comments such as : "Isida GT for free xD" so design of the skin wasn't fully thought out. I hope that graphic corrections will be implemented to it, in order to not mistake those both skins for Isida and other turrets when adding new skins for them. 

I'll also comment the growth of the prices of some augments.

Is this happening because of the inflation or something? This will make players to earn a lot more crystals in battles or to buy them in the Shop or to simply ignore those augments more by them. I completely don't understand it. Maybe earning crystals is much easier because of the increasing funds which are every weekend, but.... why prices went up so much?!

Excuse me, Is this some kind of a stupid joke or something? Rarity changed to Legendary, the rarest catogory in regular containers and no longer avalible to get them for crystals?!?! Now to get those augments we have to rely on luck than simply buy them for crystals!?! What went wrong with the option to purchase them for crystals?! Too little players were buying them?! Wouldn't it be better option to let players how to get those augments, either by purchase them for crystals or obtaining them from containers?!

Also, I have a few comments about new battle interface. Why in CTF there are only information about taking and capturing the flag?! The same thing in ASL, why only information about taking and delivering flags?! Why didn't you add information about losing the flag in both game modes and returning the flag in CTF?! And like in @Bydo's screen, why only information is about capturing points, why no news about losing them?! About the expected answer that "It would be too much information in the notifications about the current battle situations." I peacefully ask " Why not to introduce a limit of the information shown about what's going on the battle field at once? Hmm? For example, to 4 or 5 at once and if next information are coming, simply the oldest one shown on the top vanishes. And moving those notifications between the rank and timer with a score counter?!" If it will still cover too much place on the interface, then I'm sorry, but do you belive that the limit will be 3 like it used to be?!?! Of course not, ideas of returning previosly removed features are declined, 1 or 2 messages at once would be too little for me. Not everybody will rely on hearing what it going on on the battle field, some may hear worse or are too busy or/and focused on attacking enemy base or even don't have the sounds of the game turned on. How do we know how every players' playing conditions look like?

The new battle interface is significantly underdeveloped! Lot of important news are missing, like previosly mentioned losing flags or returning them. They are not unimportant information, I really liked when it shows to everybody if the flag got lost or returned. You could take a peek for a while and still being able to fight. With so much information in the middle of the screen, (seems there is no limit) it covers a lot of place on the screen and we are not able to properly assess the situation in the battle. I hope this will get some corrections. That's why I rate the current new battle interface only 3 out of 10! The refreshed or upgraded version looks epic, I have to admit it, but graphic design is not everything to make players enjoy that interface!
