They need to add the option turn off Magnum Aim Assist; but I love it.

I wish there was an option to turn SHAFT RED LASER LINE off; I guess they live it since shaft is so deadly and to give us a chance to hide from those deadly

red lines.

I remember playing before they added the shaft lines ... it was unstoppable, you would just simply die out of nowhere.  That's why they added the shaft lines.

The new Striker is atrocious.

The new splash distribution cuts down on my damage output WAY more than is necessary and leads me to 1) be a sitting duck in a lot of situations, like dynamic fights (ESPECIALLY if the other person has a fast-moving hull, a drone like Defender or Trickster, a high-level Orka module, or any combination of these), and 2) get more kills stolen.
Since Remote Rocket Explosives (my augment of choice) relies a lot on splash damage, this is an indirect but pretty harsh nerf to an augment that was in a great spot balance-wise. (This augment takes a lot of practice to use well, and the gameplay that's 99% of the time based on arcades for an augment that's basically stock means there's a lot of stolen kills also just as an aside, this augment *could* have a slight arcade reload buff but idk if that's a good idea lol)

With RRE a shell of its former self, I gave Uranium a try but it felt pretty awkward. I'm not really used to the slower projectiles and missing a shot still gave me the same splash damage issues with the added bonus of no damage at all if the rocket continues to fly off into the distance. Sure, I could give Uranium some more practice, but the fact remains that Striker is now bottom-tier and I just flat-out like RRE a lot more than Uranium.

Then there's still the problem with Striker's aiming being bugged where the target acquisition randomly resets. So yeah, salvos are unreliable and arcades are pitiful.

Striker was my favorite turret, but it's really bad right now, and I really think I'm done with it until something changes.

Well, as you can see with Magnum - the idea appears to be to... normalize the required skill involved among all turrets. I suppose the devs might be unhappy with skill barriers being a balancing factor. Apparently it also means killing the one thing that made Striker unique and relevant by taking away its quaint splash values.

Eh, I dont like to associate myself with politics. So therefore, I think being called a good sacrificial box sounds superior.

not exactly, this might actually be the one of the worst updates to both P2W and skilled players, magnum and striker users are furious about this update. Also, adrenaline nerfed probably to make status effect augments better in comparison. It's actually sad that the least used turrets are getting nerfed.
