Patch Update #723 - Released 12th May 2023

  • Vulcan
    • Self-heating increased from 0.15 to 0.25 temp/sec
    • Overheat Temperature limit increased from 0.15 to 0.25
    • Fixed the problem with the interaction between «Incendiary band» and «Heat Resistance» augments
  • Thunder
    • Critical hit chance decreased from 30% to 23%
    • «Pulsar» augment
      • Removed the decrease of critical damage chance
  • Modules
    • The rank when Mk1-Mk4 modules become available is increased from Warrant Officer 3 (13) to Second Lieutenant (17)
    • Next modifications of the «Armadillo» module can be purchased on any rank now 
  • Missions
    • Removed missions on finishing a battle in a specific mode from the Tutorial missions section
  • Updated descriptions of in-game items.

Finally no new augments !!! I hope there won't be more in next few weeks or months (but waiting for it to happen is what you see in my username ?

Now Pulsars will be OP, nice. I can't wait to get destroyed by players with Pulsar Augment on Thunder (it was sarcasm if someone didn't get it)

Next difficulties for newbies, now those who already have the protection modules bought before that "update" will easily dominate and destroy new players. I wonder how many  % of them will stay further in the game despite such a beating.

True. On one hand, they're trying to make the game more beginner friendly. On the other, they're making it much more hostile to beginners. How the hell is a beginner gonna keep playing with such disadvantages? Plus tanki isn't even getting much new players like before. 40% ( Assuming, out of experience ) of em are alt accounts of experienced players.

So low ranks can get a 50% protection against all turrets now?

Only against criticals, besides how many people on such a rank will have Armadillo and let alone the + - 4 million needed to get it to 50? ?

It appears Incendiary Band's temperature limit was silently increased from 0.25 to 1.0 sometime during Friday or after this server restart here. I played with it shortly after the update came out and it was 0.25. Now it is 1.0.

 

Here is a video comparing Stock and Incendiary Band. It still has the 0.25 heating rate so it would reach 1.0 in around 7 seconds as opposed to ~2.5 seconds before the Vulcan rework.

Don't worry about that bro. There are plenty of people who are willing use money just to get some goofy 50% prot at a low rank. The devs are encouraging them, not us :)))

If you can afford it, do it. You'll be nearly invincible against augments that increase the crit damage.

I thought they would restore twins critical chance % for all twins augments except pulsar. I don't think that was fair to hurt twins but by doing

a brute force critical chance % reduction just to nerf twins pulsar a bit was not fair. 

It is sort of funny how these patches affect trends out on the battlefield, I see these turret use trends (fads). I am glad I have 50% for all turret

protection modules, it took me a lot of work to get my garage to the max level.

never ever seen a tutorial mission and i check it all the time so do i blame my firefox browser? or are they invisible to the naked eye! lol

It's most likely only for low ranks. I don't have any low rank accounts, so I couldn't say for certain.
