You could use Isida+Vampire Nanobots+ Viking /Crusader/ Hunter  with EMP Immunity/AP (EMP immunity in my opinion) + Defender/Lifeguard. I would use Lifeguard personally to have it as for insurance  just incase someone tries to 1 hit me with Long range turrets. This would also work against other ranged class. However there is a down side...The down side about lifeguard is that it is useless against turrets with high DPS such as Freeze, Fire, Isida, Vulcan, and tesla. This drone is ideal to confront other turrets that don't have a high dps rate as such as I listed. Defender on the other hand would work better, self recovery well having high defense would be a better approach but the downside would be that you have to watch for AP users if you are gonna equip emp immunity. So best option would be defender. Lifeguard would be better at stalling.

Lemme explain that part a bit.

Booster is a very good drone. It makes a nub a pro and if you are a pro to begin with, you become a really terrific dude. So it all depends on who you are. It is in essence a "boost" to your power.

Blaster is very good with melee and short range turrets. If you find yourself having fun in using them, you should really try blaster as it is really good these days.

Sprinter and Engineer, well compared to the brute power of drones like Booster, blaster and defender, these, at least in my opinion, are kinda less "powerful". Sprinter can't be that useful in TDM and for Engineer you have to pick up boxes. I am not trying to say that Blaster and Booster are without any disadvantages but just that they are useful anywhere.

If I play real serious for an entire week, real serious in the sense very hard, it can consume upto 3k -4k BDs. Well if I play 50 mins daily. So it is a pretty costly thingy.

If I play moderately, that is not really serious without putting effort, it consumes at max 1.5K BDs.

So that's more or less the statistics. So upon all this it consumes Batteries as well. So it is a very very costly business. Well my playing style differs from yours so I do not really know about you but definitely will be more costly that Trickster. You know why

For booster, an average player would use a total of 27-30 boosted damages a match. Now if you are really a good player with booster, the minimal usage would be 9-12 sometimes a total of 15 boosted damages a match depending on the situation. For me, I would use about an average 12 boosted damages total for the current 7 min. matches Overall it is a very great drone but tends to have a faster consumption rate then defender since it lasts only three seconds for now.

I try to distribute when to activate my BD supply during the whole 7 min. sometimes ill use 1 in the first 2 or 3 min depending how close the enemy tanks are. if they are far away I don't bother activating the supply. But my main trick is that I use status augments to use as a crutch to help me along the way before I decide to weather to use the BD supply or not depending on the situation.

When I fist started to use booster, I first started to use dictator to figure out how to use the drone to the maximum ability well being conservative. After a while I started to get better at using the drone and switched off of dictator to another hull. Sometimes I do use drop boxes to help me out if I happen to be near one.

I'd really suggest you to save up more to get an augment or two.

Hornet Mk5? Hard to say from just ratings. You have to give some stuff like your playing styles, interests or something like that.

I dunno. I can camp with shaft, attack with firebird, freeze (I have the ultra cont exclusive ap augment) and most stuff

At this moment railgun isn't any good. Much as I hate to state this, it stands no chance against other turrets, at least most of them.

Freeze AP is not UC exclusive.  Players could get it from a previous challenge.

You already have a MK6 Hunter.  Why spend so much just to get one level upgrade?  Personally, I would buy a kit only if I have not upgraded all of its items yet.

Actually bro the mk7 kit is pretty great. Consider, Hunter costing approximately 100k crystals, and mk7 rail also, and the protection also. Total is 380k crystals.

Well, I only got mk4 rail. Mk5 mk6 mk7 cost together at least 200k crystals. Protection is mk0. It will cost at least 300k crystals to buy up to mk7. That way, 380k crystals for mk7 hunter railgun and protection is really cheap.

Try those turrets on test server before you actually buy them.  Not all turrets perform well lately, and suit your playing style.  MU most of the equipment you like to Mk7.15 don't cost too much, and only max out the fav combo.

Very solid advice!

1. Decide on what you really want to play with the most based on style and preferred game mode...I never used test servers and wasted a ton of crystals on a combo that I rarely used.
   1. Don't make my mistake...just because someone dominates with a kit, doesn't mean you will too. 
   2. I found that Wasp and Vulcan actually works for me and is a blast to play with...I lucked out on an ultra container and scored Rubberized rounds...can't recommend it highly enough. Changes game play a ton and allows the Wasp to stay out of harms way.
2. Once you know what you really want Save up for kits...on sales they are single handedly the best bang for your crystals.
