Preset activation order for supplies.

Recommended Posts

I feel like having a desired order of which the supplies will activate in will be very beneficial for players in a pinch.

For example, you choose the double damage supply first, then the double armor, then mine, then speed boost.

Your double damage will activate first, then next is double armor, then you lay a mine, and finally you activate speed boost.

To cancel a supply from the order you just tap or click it again.

Valid

This exists for mobile as you already know, but in a pre-determined order, are you suggesting this for the client version ?

It's about the PC version feature that allows you to select which supply gets activated next. At the moment you can only select one supply. Pressing another supply will replace it in the queue. The suggestion is to add multiple supplies in the queue, so you can press 4, then 2, then 3, and it will activate SB, DA and DD in that order as soon as the cooldown ends.

The problem is, once you start introducing multiple supply queues, it gets very complicated and frustrating. Imagine you want to activate speed boost, so you try to press 4, but accidentally press 3. Then you press 4, but the system just puts speed boost in queue after DD, so you have to wait for DD to run out, then activate a new DD, then wait 5 seconds and activate SB. Or, to turn it off you'd have to press 4, then 3, then 4 again. That's gonna be extremely frustrating in the heat of the battle.

It's not worth implementing, IMO.

Actually, you wont be able to do multiple ques, just the first one you made. You can que in the supply again once it deactivates. The entire thing will refresh when you respawn. Also pressing the supply again when its already in que will cancel it.

I don't quite understand. Isn't that what we already have?

What do you mean? I don't recall seeing such a feature. Please elaborate.

I think he just means having an individual supply queue for every supply.

Imagine you have DA active. You then press DD and SB. DD and SB will activate (I assume in this case the order is just the order in which you pressed them.) Pressing SB will cancel SB's auto activate. Pressing DD will cancel DD's auto activate. If untouched, DD and SB will activate in time. Something like that.

That's precisely what I mean.

As a Hyperion main, this would actually be very useful for me. ?

Ok that actually makes sense. I'll mark it valid.

I don't see the meaning of the whole update except on repair kits. When you face a Duplet Hammer you click 1, after the first shot you will get auto-healed thus they can't two-shot you.

Should be useful for most users. Crisis users are an exception though because of its feature.

OOF. How the heck did you understand his explanation but not mine?

Why would you only activate repair kit when you could use double armor then repair kit?

Sorry if it came across as me saying that your posts don't make sense - that was not my intention. I'm just saying that the idea itself is sensible, therefore it can be marked as "valid".

I mean, you can't really do this since RKs can be activated at full health, so you'd essentially be wasting a Repair right before entering a fight.

Not that Duplet can 2 shot anything anymore now lol.

Damage should be activated after Armor.
Why did it activate Speed?
This makes no sense, I was fighting someone and it automatically activated Speed for me, and I knew I was dead.
At least you should add a setting to let us choose the order.
