augment not working

so I equipped INCENDIARY BAND augment on Vulcan and HEAT IMUNNITY on any hull and the INCENDIARY BAND stopped working. I was still immune to fire, but couldn't deal fire damage with this augment. It only works when I don't have fire immunity equipped Why is it not working ?

You now need to be affected by the burn status yourself if you want to ignite other players with your Vulcan. Heat Immunity won't let you do this because it won't let you burn at all. 

 

If you want to continue using Incendiary Band, use it with the Heat Resistance augment if you have it.

Back in the day it did work as intended but so many players complained that it was broken that the devs "FIXED IT" saying it was a glitch. The fact it took well over a year, possibly two to fix this "ERROR" tells you everything you need to know about the devs and how they operate. 

Of course it was not a glitch, the devs lied through their deceitful teeth. It was a OP cash grab to entice the buyers, a typical dev ploy which they continue to do making the game far worse with every useless update they bring out.

The devs can't be trusted to do anything that makes the game actually better from a players viewpoint.

The game is a complicated, cash grab joke.
