Seriously do any of you know what that means? The main event is the collection of Tankoins, these rewards were never meant to be the main point of these funds... Basing how good a fund is on the bonus gifts is already wrong to begin with.

You would have a point here if the tankoins were guaranteed to every account that has bought one of the bundles at least once.

The fact that the "additional bonuses" are the only guaranteed prizes, then that would make them without question the main prize and the tankoins a side prize.

Honestly HUGE FUND FAIL
When designing a fund it is always best to keep it short, simple and interesting with a little bit of curiosity to players whether the last tier is achievable or not.
You see in most games similar fund/milestones players have to achieve are always kept short, achievable and with more unique and interesting rewards.
The last 2 funds (both 50 tiers with horrible rewards) were a mega fail, as both the people who bought it and designed it,  failed to be happy.

Just when you thought Tanki would learn from their previous mistakes, They repeat history-  (this happens when a criticism arises, more helpers of Tanki try to please admins/developers to be seen as a "good lad")

Major issues with the 50 tier funds:
1) Most people tend to buy funds during the later stages (at 60% or more) of completion. As this is more risk free for people. By setting 50 long tiers, you not only make players feel like it will never get past this 50% mark, but also make them tired of waiting,
2) Repeated rewards ( Some skins recycled from older funds or outdated and useless augment.
3) Giving tiers with terrible rewards such as 5 containers or 1m tankcoins, as most people wouldnt even want to reach newer tiers because its just the same rewards.
4) 50 big milestone to achieve in just 30 days ?? With such less players (even less buyers) you somehow expect us to gain around 1m tankcoins daily ?
6) Poeple lose the spirit once the initial  10-20 days have passed, most people give up thinking it won't even reach the rewards they look forward to.
7) I can go on and on, but these are just few bad points.

How to actually make a fund that is competitive, fun for players and challenging to finish:
1) Decrease the maximum tiers to 15 or a maximum of 20. As this makes people more engaged for rewards and with everyone contributing more people will buy them and try to complete it.
2) Keep the reward per tier high (instead of 5 container or 1) like 20 containers per tier. Make each tier reward unique and valuable to an extent and  tempting to player.
3) Make sure to not extremely recycle things from old funds, protection modules and armadillo or crisis and understandable, as more new players may need this.
4) Make sure the last 2 or 3 tier gives something unique like skins or skin container. Instead of huge amount of containers as this make lose the players interests.

Honestly this fund would have reached so much bigger, if it was 20 tiers, with exciting and more calibrated rewards. 
But being Tanki, I am 100% sure next fund will have 100 tiers with 1 reward in each milestone xD

Another thing to add is , even with double the tanki players and buyers currently, we wouldn't've been able to finish the fund.

I would say 20/25 tiers is the sweet spot, anything less is maybe too less, and anything more would be boring and make ppl buy it.

I would've also made it so the price of a bundle goes directly into the fund. And made the bundles themselves give out mystery boxes that contain different prizes.

The 990 bundle would put 1000 tankoins into the fund. Would give you 1 mystery box. (Multiple time purchase)

The 2990 bundle would put 3000 tankoins into the fund. Would give you 3 mystery boxes. (Multiple time purchase)

The 19990 bundle would put 20,000 tankoins into the fund. Would give you 20 mystery boxes. (Multiple time purchase.)

These mystery boxes would contain things like:

•skin for turret/ hull

• hull/turret augment of the legendary / exotic rarity

• epic /animated paint

• 75,000 crystals

• 700 tankoins

• battle pass that you can use at any time.

It's a gambling game. You spend a little in the hopes of winning big. You don't walk into a casino and start demanding that they should give extra rewards for just participating. Tanki on the other hand does give us extra prizes, they never had to, they just do.

Have you even thought this through? This would make the chance of winning way above 100%. The most expensive bundle is 20k Tankoins, if every winner gets 8k then that 20k would basically buy 3 winning tickets, now what if this person has 3 accounts? He can buy 9 winning tickets but would only pay for 3 bundles...I'm sure you can see why is it a problem, there would be more winners than how many people actually participated in the fund.

I don't see how it'll be a problem. If there are more winners than accounts that participated, then it'll mean that every account that took part will at least get the promised amount of tankoins. Some people will get a second helping or everyone will get more than the promised amount. It'd certainly be a win for the players.

1. Loot boxes that give you nothing 90% of the time
2. A few PNGs of solid colors
3. A skin, that is 80% similar to the default one, and is indistinguishable while you are playing.
4. And a very slim chance of getting premium currencies that people have no idea whether the "luck draw" is rigged or not.

For everyone who still considers the rewards trash, please think about this. What else can you get in the game for 1000tk? No, I don't mean what you THINK you should get for it, but what tanki offers you, or offered recently. From direct shop offers, which you buy and get the contents without any extra grind, there is nothing even close to the volume and value of items you get from here. For 1k, you are usually looking at 10UC. Sadly this fund is only giving 5, but generally, the rewards are better than a random bundle in shop. Don't forget the module slot, for any new player that's a great offer just alone and you most likely took advantage of that at some point too. And after all of this, there's still a chance to win.
If you say battle pass is better, you forget that you need to earn stars to complete it. You might complete it anyway for 100tk, but it's still extra effort on top of purchasing the pass. The rewards are quite good, at the moment it's 24 UC for 700tk. You are missing out on the fund draw tho, so it's guaranteed 700tk expense. The battle pass as of now is a relevant offer for f2p, but I still think even this fund is the better option in general. (On a side note, I personally think the battle pass change made it worse, because I consider UC to be double the price of regular container, since the most desired drop is legendary for one of the augments. Exotics are cool, collecting the legendary augments is more difficult. 72 regular conts were replaced by 15 UC and that looks quite bad, even tho you get a chance for some exotic items.)

The small events such as build a tank usually take quite some effort on top of at least 1k entry fee, without guaranteed prizes. They may fit you better, but that's again just personal opinion.

Even tho most players think the fund terribly failed, I'm quite happy with it. And then, I might still get lucky to finally win after like 5 losses in row. Not expecting it, but it would be nice after so many funds.

I think most people know they can't get anything better for 1k Tk, but they are hoping that in the future there will be something better (extremely low chance) and are saving up for that. But they failed to realize that things not only can get better but also worse. Missing out on something that is a 100% worth it, even if it is not the best purchase just to *maybe* get something better in the future is kinda flawed.

We have seen the progression of these funds over the years, I don't understand what makes people think that Tanki is just suddenly going to make a drastic change just to convenience a part of the players...who I might add, do not bring any revenue to the game by purchasing in-game either way.

Man, tanki is a game, developers are doing this for their job, they want money. It's like you want to get free lunch at restaurant. Remember: THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH! 

Like @Gabku and @Kimura said, stop living in imagination and thinking (dreaming if you want to be a poet), that we will get extra free rewards every single event.

 

I think last year's token of apology was a big mistake. Tanki fund was pumped up to 60 millions, which is unreal to reach again ever. And now most of players think, we will do it every single time. COME TO THE GROUND again, lol.

 

And don't get me wrong guys, I am not toxic, just being realistic. All I want is nice event, where f2p player can normally get some good rewards.

The fund must be attractive for all ranges of players to buy it, New ones and the ones that already have everything currently in the game, that's when the new augments would come in, also the UC could be transformed into keys so they could use is whenever they want, nobody will get a fund that doesn't have attractive rewards, take the Mono Paints one for example.

 

@emrakul i agree with you that the fund is way better than a random bundle in the shop, but like, f2p players take months to get 990Tc specially if they're casual, and the fund is twice a year, the rewards are decent though, but if you compare the recent funds to past funds and also other events, those funds are pretty disappointing, I'm gathering Tankcoins to get the fund of next year, if it doesn't have any reward worth the grind I'm not buying it, I'm looking for a Magnum augment for example if it doesn't show up in the fund i might still buy it if something else attracts me, if not I'll just skip and use my Tankcoins in the first thing that will give me a Magnum Augment.

I had 1k Tankcoins, saw the last rewards of the Mono paints fund, bought it thinking it was a good deal, result: didn't get the rewards i was expecting, I'm not making the same mistake again, I'll first see if people are really interested in the fund, and if it has a reward i really want like a Magnum Augment then i buy it.

Yes, containers need a revamp, all them specially the normal ones, grinding a lot until you collect 15 of them to open, and 10 of them being 1k crystals 4 being supply and 1 being a paint, makes me not want to grind events again lol.

Man, tanki is a game, developers are doing this for their job, they want money. It's like you want to get free lunch at restaurant. Remember: THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH!

This already happens, some ppl get part of all the TC of the fund, 8k as i remember.

Lol as i can see some buyers don't want to loose their advantage, "imagine f2p getting broken augments once in a year" so fun that things like this happen, like the other dude complaining about Magnum armor piercing, probably his p2w Crisis was getting rekt by a Magnum AP, "my money is not making me immortal, nerf this augment".

I saw on one previous giveaway video that the randomizer 4000 was just a simple local html file, but I still believe there's more to it behind the scenes (unless proven otherwise).

The sole objective of the tanki fund (according to me) is to convert f2p into buyers and a lot of winners are possibly targeted, and they won't even know it.

The 7.6k tankoins have the possibility of luring so many players to spend real money on future events and bundles, if targeted correctly.
