Patch Update #748 - Released 8th December 2023

 

  • Remastered the Missions screen

    • Added a button to collect rewards of all completed missions within one section.

    • Added an option to choose how you want to see missions: as cards or as list items (like in PRO battles).

    • Added a hidden description of missions that appears once the mouse cursor hovers on the mission card.

    • Added support for narrower displays for the mobile version.

  • Early Access in Shop

    • Early Access kits now give you access to items in the Shop 4 ranks before relative to the rank required to unlock the item in the Garage

    • Added Mk2 kits for beginners

  • Ricochet

    • «Sizzling Field» augment

      • No longer guarantees that the status effect will be applied after bouncing

    • «Cryo Field» augment

      • No longer guarantees that the status effect will be applied after bouncing

    • «Magnetron» augment

      • No longer guarantees that the status effect will be applied after bouncing

    • «Tectonic Field» augment

      • No longer guarantees that the status effect will be applied after bouncing

    • «Super-Smart Minus-Field» augment

    • Radius of max explosion damage decreased from 5 to 2 m.

    • Radius of medium explosion damage decreased from 6 to 5 m.

  • Thunder

    • Radius of max explosion damage increased from 1 to 2 m

    • Radius of medium explosion damage increased from 1 to 3 m

    • Radius of critical explosion damage increased from 1 to 2 m

    • «Vacuum Shells» augment

      • Regular damage decrease changed from -20% to -25%

      • Radius of average splash damage changed from 10 to 9 m

      • Range of minimum explosion damage increased from 50% to 250%

  • Magnum

    • Radius of max explosion damage decreased from 5 to 2 m

    • Range of medium explosion damage decreased from 6 to 3 m

    • «Vacuum Core» augment

      • Regular damage decrease changed from -39% to -50%

  • Railgun

    • «Shotgun Rounds»

      • Added a reload time decrease of -15%

  • Gauss

    • Radius of max explosion damage increased from 1 to 2 m.

    • Radius of medium explosion damage increased from 2 to 3 m.

    • Radius of critical explosion damage increased from 1 to 2 m.

  • Drones

    • Defender

      • Duration of Boosted Armor increased from 20-40 to 20-45 seconds

    • Booster

      • Duration of Boosted Damage increased from 20-40 to 20-45 seconds

    • Trickster

      • Duration of Speed Boost increased from 20-40 to 20-45 seconds

  • In the Tutorial Missions, you now receive 1 Star for the completion of each standard mission

  • Fixed the bug due to which exiting the Garage took longer after equipping a paint

  • Minor improvements in translation in some languages

  • Minor improvements in the Garage interface 

  • Optimization in HTML5 graphic rendering

This Striker nerf is meant specifically for Faust, I know because Faust is extremely effective for klling enemies out of LOS thanks to its innate self detonation capability.

Oh well, I'm not sure why this augment specifically seems to bother them that much, while Vacuum shells Magnum still ruins MM battles.

The one cool thing about it, tbh wouldnt have minded if hammer also got that ability too, on ricocheting shots, add a bit of skill sense. Guess we go down the boring route as usual.

I assume shaft and gauss will eventually get the nerf too, wonder how many patches it'll take.

Early access huge nerf. Everyone who bough their op combos at major gets to keep them, but it's healthy for the game. 7 ranks was insane and in my opinion it crossed the p2w line. On the other hand, with how fast you rank up, they don't seem (mainly the lower Mk ones, Mk7 maybe still is good) worth the price for me.

No more infinite status effects in tunnels with rico. I'm not a fan of removing these unique mechanics. Every status being just about random crit is lame in my opinion.

Striker sounds like a RRE targeted nerf, but maybe it's for the whole turret.
Thunder huge buff to splash, but not sure what it does to vacuum in the end.
Magnum nerf insane and even more on vacuum.
Gauss splash buff, will certainly get an extra kill here and there.

It's a damage nerf everywhere between direct hit and 10m away from it. It's a damage buff if the target is between 10m and 12m from the hit. Assuming there is no typo in the EN or RU patch of course.

250% splash damage too much because with crisis and viking overdrive  juggernat  him self no gonna last please Reduce it to 150% It seems logical to me

Can someone explain these changes? Is that a buff or a nerf? Is the minimum damage greater and maximum damage less now?

That is range of minimum damage, not damage itself.

I'm sad to see this, but I'm not surprised due to how they nerfed status Hammers. Looks like they want status augments to be entirely crit based.

We can't collect apologize token anymore, I had set alarm to get it, but it's already gone. It was supposed to be here for more than 4 hours, but it's gone!

I know what they will do. Nothing! That's right, they will do nothing because they never do! Last year, when there was a TOA in November when the game was down for days, we (who did not claim the first token) were not able to claim it the next day (we had 24 hours to claim it, but they removed before 24 hours were over). When we asked to bring the TOA back, they said they could not track the data on who collected the TOA and who did not, so they couldn't return it. If you say the token will be available in the special mission section for 24 hours, then do it, and don't trick us, we are done with your broken servers!

Now if they return the TOA, some of the players will get it twice and others for only once. Still unfair, but better than nothing

They just changed the splash damage radius, that doesn't really matter to me since I'm good enough to hit even a moving target perfectly, if anything they just made it so that only people with my skill can use magnum effectively now, which is a huge W. Plus I don't have Vacuum core so it's not like I would be abusing the splash damage anyway ?‍♂️

Now in mission you dont see anything related to it ( i.e conditions)   til you dont hover it on the single tab , unconvendient and time wasting stuff prone to miis stuff ..
Gargantuos Tabs that ( AGAIN)  do not stay in the same screen like in the weeklye .
Unnatural and slow like the previous update of the garage( still i lose time everytime i want to change hull/ turret with thoose ENORMOUS tabs that do not fit a single screen, and to enforce the joke are  in a single row ), everytime i approach time limit looking for a complete change -.Must be some problem in the eyes field  of  the coder  .
1/4 big  as OF IT and would be super usable

Well , playing less and less as things going like that  , like "whatever i give up cant lose time for those stupid reasons" , they should let enjoiable not me forcing it   ..maybe they want we play less , "casually " as possible . Understandable , . good

I saved it for today, idk why they put timer if they are gonna do what they please

You'd also have to take into account the changes to Stock. The main one that would be affecting Vacuum Shell was the change of Stock's maximum splash damage radius from 1m to 2m. 

 

The previous Vacuum Shell was 720 base damage with 1, 10, 12 --> 100, 250, 50 splash distribution. 

The new Vacuum Shell is 675 base damage with 2, 9, 12 --> 100, 250, 250 splash distribution. 

 

If you're comparing the current Vacuum to the previous one, then it is damage nerf if the target is between direct hit and 10m away from the hit, and a damage buff if the target is between 10m and 12m from the hit. 

 

Looking at the current version by itself, this one allows you 3m of grace distance to deal the current highest damage possible. Position yourself right and you should be able to see the same high damage number multiple times instead of the number constantly changing like previously.

Devs never fail to impress me by how much they have the buyers in their pocket.

Just waiting for the next obligatory augment to come out, for cash of course.
