Luckily that will help a lot of players, 3 weeks cuts it a bit tight, I barely completed the one yesterday which was 20 days long, I will appreciate the extra 8 days. I don't like needing to play more then the minimum from daily encore.

Long event cool  but boring event modes.. we just got the snowball event mode last event.

Why again? Also the most important thing that gives everyone motivation to play Christmas /new year maps + the new year gold skins where are they????

 

Theres only 1 map with increased golds and thats Forest Remastered.. Sad. 

Hazel said when keys come to the game Dutch players can play the game again without needing a VPN.. No infomation about it yet.

It's like 4k damage if you're lucky isn't it? As dumb as it sounds 4k damage per 6+ seconds is pretty average for long range exotic augments that are not just filler. Not to say 4k damage if the enemy is at the end of the explosion basically. You'll prob be doing 1,5k+ most of the time due to people spamming Gauss prot and not being exactly 9m away from ground zero every time you shoot. Not defending Gauss in any way though. Was made way too braindead they have to make lock time like 2 seconds at mk8 instead of basically instant.
EDIT: Not to say I accidentally skipped the miner augments. Saboteur drone already made Capture modes unplayable from time to time but now it'll be a whole different beast. Gauss vacuum even if it does 20k damage per shot is not going to single handedly ruin capture modes and make them LITERALLY unplayable.

Where are the holiday maps? The map with hill and a tree in middle. The Racing map (could be fun for goldhunting DM mode). The new year map that became yorkshire later. The alexandrovsk new year version. The snowball fight map from last year. Or a new, unique map just made for this event. And I probably forgot a few more maps. We get the forever repeating sanbox and forest remastered maps. Why not use the special unique maps made for these event? Feeling disappointed.

I'm very happy for the DM legendary gold rush mode, but the same map for 7 days straight? Please add some, or all of the old new year maps to the modes, they will make it so much more memorable instead of the same forest we've seen the entire year every other event. The halloween event was amazing also thanks to all of the different maps.
The other modes are not for me, but I'm fine with that. There are players who enjoy them and it's fair that everyone gets a mode they enjoy.

Yes In fact this event is fun. 4 weeks long is especially good since we have 4 weeks long of special fun. In addition 3 UT container is very good and you get 7 normal containers on top of that for each week. Basically that is 12 Ut containers and 28 Normal Containers. The Devs are very generous when it comes to giving containers even a f2p person can get good amount. So please stop complaining and just enjoy what the devs have worked hard on. And I forgot to mention the keys update will be fire since you can open whenever you want and you get the same amount as before so you still get good things. Thanks Dev for the memorable Christmas Event!

Really dont know why these guys are so hellbent on forcing people to play the same 3 remastered maps all year long. Still waiting for them to reintroduce some of the 50+ available maps that have been dead since MM introduction. Its getting boring.

now,we see all the same gold for all the events around the year,except halloween cuz it doesnt take any time to create a new design,just take and add a box from 2012,everything fine.

new year has always been special for its gold box designs,new year maps,with its night mode which wasn`t the night mode we have today,but different one with biiig biiig christmas eve in center.

and now what? we get a DM with a map which is in MM pool w/out events even and normal gold boxes.

 

P.S back when in missions there were 15 UC as a prize,no one was complaining about it was small amount or something,it was fine,non-buyers could get exotics from it. now its 3 UC it doesn`t even worth 1 kill to gain that,shame on you.

 

P.P.S im pretty sure keys are another scam and it won`t be different but a way to make more money and players to get less things.

You are also free to remove Arms Race mode and prolong the Gold Rush event. We had Gold Rush event mode for over 2 weeks on Halloween. Why not now? Afraid of people getting too much gingerbreads?
99% of tanki community can agree that Arms Race is the worst gamemode in the entire game. Its slow,boring and also without golds but thats just a detail you know.

Why do people keep spreading baseless thing and painting the devs  as "greedy, and devious people". It is in fact the polar opposite. The devs are not making the gold rush event longer because some people don't like it and so to include everyone's opinions they split the time equally so everyone can enjoy the different event modes. Additionally, they would never not want you to gain your gingerbread or golds. Please stop spreading rumors or making speculations that make no sense whatsoever. Every event, the devs do a good job and work hard, but you tankers just keep complaining and complaining non-stop. This festive season should be a season of happiness and reflection on what tanki has did that helped you. I hope one day you all will learn to appreciate the developers and give them a complement for their hard work. Everytime you complain you need to think about how the developers would feel instead of being so egotistical and self centered. These are my thoughts! Thanks again for this great event!

No but it certainly is gonna be heavily abused in modes like seige, ASL (attacking team), CP, and rugby.

I only had one regular and one ultra container which got converted into keys. I opened most of my containers before the conversion arrived. So I didn't lose out on much.
