Mobile «Tanki Online» — now on the HTML5 engine!

Great and awesome news! I prefer the new one. Much better ?

I hope that Tanki will be focuse now in bringing up new players like I am saying for years..the numbers just going down and with such great graphics and interface, it's a shame.

Removing the supply bar and replacing it with a quick access menu was a big mistake. Adding this unnecessary step of tapping and sliding each time you need to activate a supply is a step backwards. Also, we lose ability to see valuable information of what time is left until supply effect finishes being active or how much time is left until it's activated again. In order to see this information you need to press the quick access menu again and again.

So, devs please add functionality to disable or enable quick access menu.

Also, there is another technical issue. I use Xiaomi pad 5. it's impossible to jump to the home screen with finger slide gesture at the edge of the screen. only way to exit the game is to first activate keyboard somewhere in the game and then do the finger slide and If I reopen the game the whole viewport is all white.

The game is not enjoyable at all for new players currently. I am a Legend 154 playing since 2013 and I'm not gonna sugarcoat it. I enjoy the "new" tanki and like it more than the so called peak fiction tanki. While my account is absurdly stacked for how much I spend I also have a secret 100% F2P account where I don't do missions and have basically no augments at Legend 10 (I still easily get TOP 3. the "skill doesn't matter" people in shambles right now). I get carried by skill and not relying on broken Toys. New players will likely heavily rely on Toys to perform good. And we all know what  happens when you rely on toys but there is an enemy with stronger toy. Getting washed by a person who was 5% luckier than you is not a scheme for a fun game that a new player who has no idea what's going on would like. Here is what they MUST do before trying to gain new players.

1. Not use graphics as a thing to attract new players. Tanki has average Graphics and with new gen games like GTA 6 that have basically real life level Graphics also some random game (idk it's name) that has graphics so realistic it ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE REAL LIFE AND IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW IT'S A GAME YOU'D THINK IT'S REAL LIFE. Tanki will not be competing in graphics department any time soon. Them hyping up below average Graphics like it's the second coming of Jesus is just a waste of time.

 

2. Balance MM. Yes. Obvious. Hazel said... Yes he actually said... it in some random Q&A that "We make things disbalance MM because we think that balanced battles would be way more boring than a complete Squash match every time". Well I can tell you that a balanced match even if it ends in 0-0 is INFINITELY better than a squash match even if you're on a team that is doing the squashing. 

 

3. Add bots in mid-game too. Obviously they can't just add it whenever. They have to actually make bots compete with mid-game players. This instantly fixes the "oh im generalissimo how dare they put me with a legend rank!! so unbalanced" problem. No increasing waiting times for more balanced rank bracket without bots is not the way. You may like the extra 2 minutes of waiting time to get into a match but 99% of people DO NOT. ESPECIALLY NEW PLAYERS.

Totally agreed. There's a small outline around your active supplies that acts as the timer on how long left it's active for, but yeah, it'd be nice to see a number in seconds again that's visible without having to press something else. The quick access menu is anything but quick since you have to press it and then slide which is two actions, not one like before ?

The joystick is also much more sensitive than before on the app (it's similar to the phones browser version now, which is way too sensitive for me) so if you're using a light hull especially, it makes it unnecessarily more difficult to control. Please change it back to how it was before or at least give us some sort of option to change the sensitivity of the joystick.

I could be wrong but are there not auto activated supplies anymore? That's a real pain. The repair kit one when you're on low health was very helpful in almost all situations. 

The whole layout is not user friendly imo, the health bar is surely too small. I know it's the same as PC now, but on a smaller screen where you're not looking at the bottom of it alot, it's hard to see how much health you have quickly, especially with how fast paced the game can be now.

So I would make the health bar bigger, similar to how it was before and put the turret reload bar back around the centre aim dot, where the eye is more likely to be looking!

well the new app is much like browser version, but removing google play payment system is unethical action.

For the last 3 years as a mobile player i've been suffering from the glitches and hoping they'll get fixed someday (like the screen freeze Bug and the impact force bug ) and When i first Heard about the mobile HTML5 version I expected a re-work of the mobile version and a very optimized app so it'll make the game even more enjoyable but we only got what appears to be Just the pc version with mobile controls and this Just reminds me of using puffin browser in the old days and that didnt work even with flash which required less specs and this is the opposite of what i expected that it makes me wish to play the old version even with its bugs because the game is completely unplayable wether its about controls or the quality of gameplay, i went from getting a 60 fps in the old version to barely getting 20 fps in this HTML5 version despite having 4gb ram which should be enough to run the app according to the Minimum requirments

i would like to have an option to where We Can choose to play the older Android version and im pretty sure im not the only one who wants this to happen.

Well you finally got me to uninstall the app, I'd lived with the glitches, but the new interface gives me motion sickness, the method of choosing resources is worse and no auto replenish makes the issue even worse. At least I'll be saving money.

And then by moving finger activate one of the supply (Up - Boosted Damage, Down - Mine, Right - Speed Boost, Left - Boosted Armor). Remeber to hold it and move (you still hold) and then let go after moving finger in one of directions.

Look at the app review in google. Horrible update with html5, cant play without a lag, to take a aim my ares is taking a longlong time

We read reviews constantly. Developers already works on all negatives reviews. Many updates are coming soon . 
Be patient ...

thx for the reply, also, without the "auto activation of supplies", its impossible to play in mobile.

now I need to activate my supplies manually.

during the game play:  player need to monitor health(another button for health), monitor supplies every second, press different buttons to activate health & spplies. your dev's dont let me concentrate on play, they want me to focus on health and supplies. PC its ok, manual activation killed the mobile update.. if anyone from your dev team played this game in mobile and won? its because others might be searching for the button to acticate supplies and health and got shot.. and not because of the skills

Auto supplies activation for mobiles users will be ready soon . Developers already working on it .
Also it will be available for PC users as an option in settings .

will there be an option to use the old supplies layout? as another mode here: https://ibb.co/cFR9Tw8 maybe?

And currently there isn't an option to open the player list in battles. will there be too?

last thing, I have been struggling with account disconnections, and when re-entering the game settings isn't being saved

You can see that by clicking on the team score. Developers will add a TAB button in the upcoming updates.

We are aware of this problem and it will be fixed very soon. It's under testing now.
