Patch Update #761 - Released 19th April 2024

@Gabku It results in a 25% damage (that's very little compared to Vacuum Missiles and Vacuum Shells) increase at the very best, which you cannot guarantee to happen every time - so most of the time, it will be around 10-15% of an increase, assuming you don't end up dealing less damage than stock - and this isn't even about being good with it, connectivity and the wonky nature of the way the blast registers as a result can be a problem too - unless you have incredible internet connection, I suppose.

Yes, the altered explosion radius can be very beneficial in specific scenarios, but it's not a pure gain - not having the ability to hit a target directly is a disadvantage whether you're good at using the turret or not. And I simply do not think the augment offers enough to justify that, especially compared to others within its class.

I'm somewhat confused by that comment in the patch notes. They're removing horizontal auto-aim from ricocheting shots, but it won't noticeably affect gameplay? When does it affect gameplay then? Because I don't notice any horizontal auto-aim while playing on PC.

It's for mobile, not PC.

@Maf See? Somehow knew it existed.

Yes, it existed for mobile players.

Dang, still no Juggernaut and Terminator combo buff? It's been weak for months and it can be easily destroyed by OP augments and viking overdrive. Hope they buff JGR combo soon.

That is the point, people would hardly go after the Jug itself since it was too bulky and strong, accompanied by healers.

Now there's a bigger chance to be able to actually play for the objective than a simple TDM that phoenix farmers did.

Players now ideally need to utilise nukes/more supplies to get a lot more rep points.

We do not want to see people farming phoenix augs again with Jug, that is lame. And yeah, likely 70% or more of the avg phoenix completed was in TJR

please remove ugly death animation its heinous.

also in desert why does touching the barriers at the end of the central corridor cause instant self destruct. i enjoy the new out of bounds demarcations FINALLy closing off the tops of the walls to the hopper abusers but its poking into the map to much.i should be able to touch, and even climb my tank onto those barriers a little bit, before self destructing

It's a nerf. The firing rate will be a bit lower than than Stock.

For some reason they have more amp time listed as an advantage on VC, but on AGLM they list having less amp time as an advantage.  More amp time has gotta be listed as a disadvantage imo.  It's not like stock Magnum has insane amp time where you aren't able to get good aim.

The reason it's a buff for vacuum is because it's vacuum. For striker vacuum, it has RRE so you can place your shots more accurately. So, for magnum, by slowing down the amplification, it allows you to place your shots better. For AGLM, faster time is a buff, because it's not vacuum, and reaching max amplification fast (in general) is a buff, except when it comes to vac

items that should be changed..

Titans OD dome - this needs to stay longer then what it is now.

the OD for Hornet lasts way too long and should be shortened .

In a sense, I can agree that slower charging leads to better targeting. AGLM is more oriented towards blasting shots recklessly, so an increase in amplification is reasonable. However, for Vacuum, this also means a decrease in TDO since you get to fire fewer shots within the same time window. Not to forget, there is still a projectile trajectory with fixed velocity bound to Magnum, so accuracy is not always to be expected when using this weapon. And for an augment that is even less focused on precise shots, it is a bit strange to have an amplification increase specifically for Vacuum and not for Magnum as a whole.

If anything, I believe it should be listed as a nerf. But it really depends on the developers' aim with this change
