Snow Trap require lot of crystals

Haloween required a lot of crystals

Freezer games required a lot of crystals (to buy coins to get further)

BattleShip event required lot of crystals (yet another contract event)

Assemble a tank was another event where you had to buy contracts (altought this one was not as expensive because you only needed 25 parts)

 

Thats just last 4 months or events. Now tell me, how can new players proceed in such events?  This events are made for whales who casually buy rubies/tankoins or play 24/7 with premium and have full accs.  I have almost full acc  yet I was not able to participate in freezer games, I passed whole halloween event where I only completed stage 1 because I did not have enough crystals to reach higher stages,  Now I am barely able to finish stage 4 in snow trap event.  btw I did not have to upgrade anything on 50 % sales like many others, and yes I am not free to play. 

Imo island events should be made in a way where most of the players are able to partially complete it (stage3-4) just by casual daily playing. 5-7 should be for whales as it was. I like this current concept of island event more that old one with -5 traps  but the way it is set is what I have problem with. 

As I suggested, they should include once per day 1 cheap silver contract for 10K and once a week 1 golden contract for 390 and either change event missions back to 210 ginger or buff bronze contract so it gives either random 1 to 6 ginger or fixed 4 ginger. Perhaps they could create new stage 8 to push best rewards a little further.

If new players want to participate, they have to pay for it. I know it seems harsh, but tanki is a "free to play" game, therefore the devs must persuade the players to buy for real money. Back then, when we would have to pay ~40-50m crystals or ~100k tankoin to finish an event (for the vulcan DC for example), well, that was crazy.

 

Providing a limited silver contract in every 24h seems a good middle way to me and I support that idea, but I see no chance (nor I agree) about making the same for the golden contract.

 

Note: I know that this event is expensive, no doubt, but we get much better prizes than in usual events.

I honestly think that this mini-game is actually considered one of the cheapest. And I really enjoyed this one.  

I remember back then when mini games were more expensive and they were stingy as heck with their skins. Compared to all the other mini games I think the value of all this digital content for this mini game  seems fair. 7-8 total skins plus a heck ton of containers, ultra containers, supplies, 3 new featured augments and more. 

Back then I remember shelling out almost $400+ dollars to finish tanks in space mini game when rico pulsar first came out. Honestly, I can say that minigame was soo gosh dang expensive plus you were also more at risk -5 steps and spending more instead of the current -1 step and spending less from snowtrap. And for almost $400 back then for a mini game, that I can say was one of the most expensive minigame. Nothing compared to this current mini game which I shelled out about $250-$260. I literally got more digital content from snowtrap alone for almost LESS THAN HALF the price of the tanks in space event.

I spent this much at most because I actually grinded the mini game with just gold contracts. Now if you decided to buy speed ups and decide to complain about how expensive the mini game is, that is on you. But other than that, shelling out about $250-$260 is actually surprisingly cheap considering the amount of digital content that is in the snow trap mini-game. 

I know that people will heavily disagree with me and more so with newer players since they wouldn't know how much prices were back then for a minigame. But overall, it comes down to the choice of the player if they want to spend for the mini game or not. 

Last note: The only thing I do wish that tanki would do is make the mini game more affordable to low-medium buyers and not just target larger spenders just for the begining stages of a mini-game. For example have more people being able to go to CP 4-5 if there are 7 checkpoints.

I remember just one halloween in the last 4 years a good one, LC skins for wasp and smoky, Blunderbuss Augment, and Tankcoins. F2P can easily complete atleast 2 out of 5 round, what i see now is crap no even can complete round one, Tanki trust me soon or later you will have to change your marketing strategy !

These mini-games are outta reach of non buyers or common players...they simply can't complete without using real money. Even if you try it with your crystals still NOT..

Idk what they mean by the event "lasting until the 23rd of Jan", but in the contracts section on the event page it also says that all contracts will no longer be available after 22nd of Jan, 2 AM UTC. I guess an extra day (today) is given to finish any moves. Plus you might still be able to catch event currency from gold boxes today.
