Patch Update #796 - Released 17th April 2025

 

List of changes:

  • The following augments were added to Common and Epic Containers:

    • Hammer’s “Camper” augment

    • Hopper’s “Grenadier” augment

  • [Turret] Hammer

    • One pellet force increased from 0.2 - 0.4 to 0.8 - 1.6;

    • “Duplet” augment

      • Added a decrease to impact force by -50%;

    • “Blunderbuss” augment

      • Added an increase of amount of pellets per shot by +200%;

    • “Hunter Duplet” augment

      • Added a decrease to impact force by -50%.

  • [Turret] Striker

    • Aim recovery time increased from 1 to 2 seconds;

  • [Turret] Railgun

    • “Large caliber rounds” augment

      • Damage increase was changed from +33% to +50%;

      • Critical damage increase was changed from +33% to +25%.

  • All the turret “Phoenix” augments:

    • Bonus to reputation points earned in a battle increased from +30% to +40%

  • Juggernaut (TJR/JGR)

    • The number of points for destroying a Juggernaut was decreased from 60 to 30

    • The number of points for assisting to destroy a Juggernaut was decreased from 30 to 15

  • Daily missions

    • The required amount of reputation points changed from 900 to 1000

    • The daily “Use overdrive in battle 5 times” mission was replaced with the new “Starter” mission, which completes automatically when you open the daily missions screen

    • (Encore) The daily Encore mission “Open 1 common container” was replaced with the “Use overdrive in battle 3 times” mission

  • Bots met on ranks 27 and above now have a built-in effect of the “Blaster” augment

  • Slightly reworked the tank explosion effect

 

Hammer turret's hotfix (18/04)

  • Coefficient of decreasing shot reload duration when Viking’s overdrive is activated was changed from 0,4 to 0,7
  • Increase to regular and critical damage when Viking’s overdrive is activated was changed from +150% to 300%

 

Hammer turret's hotfix (20/04)

  • "Slugger" augment
    • Added a decrease to Impact force by -50%;
  • "Heavy Slugger" augment
    • Added a decrease to Impact force by -50%;

surprised Large Calibre Pellets didnt get an additional pellet force increase, its whole gimmick is that the pellets are much stronger

      @Opex-Rah Instead of giving useless augments more rep maybe make them usable enough to play with in mm,  like -20% reload ?

Thanks for listening to my advice and reducing points for killing juggernaut.... now reduce siege from 50 to 10 please. Its so horrible to have so much points !

Yes great change appreciate, now I will leave bots matches even faster than before,  nobody asked for bots in legend matches and majority hates it yet you give us another reason to not play with them ? yet another reason to just camp like majority of players, because now even bots will punish you for playing actively and what for? 5/1 points. 

 

Now serious question, when do you plan reduce points for healing with Nanotech and Shaft? Its easy farm for them, they dont have risk anything unlike isida and they have unlimited energy.  Nanotech can heal 3600 hp in 2s, Stock isida - 1600 hp.  Shaft 2400 hp. Both shaft and thunder have always ready 1 shot that can instantly heal huge amount of dmg. 

 

In conclusion another update to make quality of life in TO worse.

The only change I am happy with. No need to open 15 keys anymore. Also, I don't know why have you stopped giving options to open 1, 5 or 15 keys, why wasn't it good?

What's the point of getting reputation point with phoenix after people already got it? There's no phoenix 2.0 to grind after grinding phoenix. Just buff phoenix or maybe revert that huge nerf

This almost seems like being punished for completing the objective, why bother with the jugg when you can just get the same score for 2-3normal kills ?.
Im sure there is some behind-the-scenes data to support the decision, but still a curious one.

There's no benefit to opening containers in smaller batches. Now that the mission to open a container is gone, there's absolutely no reason to open fewer than 15 at a time.

Could someone explain to me what are they doing with games modes? 

Assault mode is unplayable, you get 5 xp for capping flag, it's literally TDM mode.

And now they're ruin JGR mode as well. 

I'm really curious what's the next move.

Akschuulayly ?☝?️, there might be a specific item you want to get and once you have it, you want to save the rest of your keys for the next batch.

Ok fair enough. But if you're trying to get a specific item with the current odds, even 15 containers is a rounding error, let alone 5 or 1.

I don't love these changes either, but I get that there are probably underlying reasons behind them. Could be for example that these modes tend to end quicker than others when players focus too heavily on the objective due to the point rewards. Rewarding points for objective seems fair, but ig players will still be drawn to it unconsciously anyway, so maybe it's just a balancing thing.

it's not that difficult to put the pieces together. 

bots in legend ranks.... increase in daily mission battle point requirement...fewer battle points rewarded....

oh what could that possibly lead to? could it possibly mean that players have to spend more time playing the game??

 

anyways, interesting set of patch notes. nice that hammer is getting some respect again.

Events. This will help a ton with people doing events with silver contracts ( like legit look at the minigame right now, it will make completing with silver contracts much easier )

Hmm bots were already considered annoying and so is blaster. I don't think combining them will satisfy the players. Surely there're other ways to adjust difficulty? Also disproportionately punishing short range turrets here.
