List of some ideas and suggestions

First of all, greetings to the game  team

Today I will be talking about some improvements and suggestions that can be made in the game.

~Events

New Mission(s)

One of the indispensable symbols of the events is the “Holiday” paint.Encouraging players to use these paints during matches would help reinforce the festive atmosphere.

To promote this, event missions could be added that require players to wear the Holiday Paint in order to complete them.

The difficulty of these missions can be adjusted depending on the duration of the event, more challenging for longer events, simpler for shorter ones.

More Event-Themed Maps

Currently, only the Halloween and New Year events have dedicated themed maps. The fact that these maps are exclusive to their respective events creates a memorable and festive in-game vibe that players look forward to each year.

However, other major events like Tankers Day, April Fools' Day,and Tanki's Birthday are just as exciting and deserve their own unique maps as well.Adding themed maps for these events would make them more special and increase player engagement.

New Event Modes

One common complaint from players is that the same event modes keep coming back over and over again.

Here’s a simple solution:let players share their ideas for new modes under this topic and use their suggestions as inspiration for future content

~Toxic Players

In Tanki Online, players used to meet and become friends, even with complete strangers. They used to chat for hours and have a good time together.

But now, there are more toxic players than ever before.I believe this is because the ban system isn't strong or effective enough to deter them.

I have a great suggestion for you:

-Match Restrictions

Yes match restrictions. The best way to punish a player who violates the rules is to keep them away from other players and the game itself.

The most suitable punishment would be to restrict violators from accessing Matchmaking and Event Modes.

The duration of the match restriction could be the same as the chat restriction

If the player continues to break the rules and disturb others, their access to Matchmaking and Event Modes could be permanently removed.

(Honestly, even this punishment feels like a reward for these ‘human look-like life forms’ who run their mouths at strangers, their families, or sacred values,no matter the religion, language, or race.

*There should also be an option to mute specific player(s).

~About Maps

Even the most recent map in the game Chernushka was designed back in 2018 and added nearly four years ago. This means that no truly new map has been introduced in a very long time.

It would be great if you could start designing brand new maps or at least bring back some of the removed ones by making them available in PRO Battles.

(Or you could host map designing contests and add player-made designs to the game just like in the good old days)

And about remastered ones,f you guys planning to release  temastered map only once a year, that’s going to take an extremely looooooooong time to remaster all the maps.

Ideally,we should be getting a new Remastered map every 3–4 months.

And where is the Remastered versions of Bridges and Highland?

~Graphic/Visual Improvements

Before I share my suggestions,I’d like to point out that graphic improvements should be focused solely on the Remastered Maps. The texture quality difference between the classic maps and the Remastered ones is significant,so the best visual results will likely be noticed on the Remastered versions.

- A Sense of a Living Environment

Even though the maps have been completely redesigned, they still feel a bit lifeless, everything looks static.

Here are some suggestions to enhance realism and immersion:

-Add animations to grass and trees to simulate wind movement.

-Introduce dynamic lighting, where the light source shifts over time, changing the length and direction of shadows. This could create a sense of time passing during matches.

-Make light reflections on tanks brighter and more responsive.

-Implement a functional fog effect that gradually reduces player visibility beyond a certain distance.

-Add animated LED billboards that display current in-game news or tips

Longtime players may not prioritize graphics above gameplay but visual improvements are essential for attracting new players. It’s important to note that the expectations of the new-gen gamers are incredibly high, especially when it comes to visual quality and immersion.

~Paints and Shot Effects

Although paints and shot effects are purely cosmetic items, they currently don’t have their own dedicated container.

This is especially frustrating for high-level players, many of them receiving paints they’ll likely never use  when they want to unlock new augments.

A possible solution could be introducing a new container type specifically for paints and shot effects in weekly missions.

Of course, whether or not to include rare shot effects in this container is entirely up to you.

~Parkour Physics

This might be a bit of a personal request, but as a parkour enthusiast,I’d really love to see the old parkour physics  from the Flash version  brought back.

Parkour has always been a part of the game’s culture, and it still has a dedicated player base that shouldn't be underestimated. However, ever since the physics were changed, that community has been steadily shrinking.

The previous physics were solid and didn’t really need to be changed.

Also, parkour competitions which used to be an exciting and important part of the game  are no longer being held.

So atleast bringing back the original physics could make parkour community happy.

~Legend Rank Exclusive Paint

Since the removal of the M0–M3 system, no feature has been added to the game that truly satisfies players’ sense of progression and achievement. To address this, a paint in the 'Special' category could be introduced as a reward for reaching the Legend rank to give players a real sense of accomplishment."

~Legacy and M0–M3 Skins

Since skins are purely cosmetic,it's totally fine for most of them to be purchasable for money. However, the Legacy and M0–M3 skin series hold a special place in Tanki Online’s history, and for that reason,I believe these skins should only be obtainable through gameplay.

Ideally, these skins should be more rare and challenging to get  just like Trophy missions.

Of course,that’s just my opinion.

~Contests

In the past, there used to be contests like meme, drawing etc.

These kind of contests definitely help keep the community active, engaged and entertained by giving players something fun to participate in outside of regular gameplay.

That’s why I kindly ask you to consider bringing back these kinds of contests from time to time.

~VLOGs

VLOGs have become one of the important symbols in Tanki Online culture, and because of that,I believe it deserve just as much care and effort as the game's development itself.

Here are a few suggestions:

-The game team and company staff could appear more frequently in VLOGs and take part in casual conversations to build a stronger connection with the community.

-Video of the Week" could be brought back(more like challange)

-And maybe...Hazel could try smile instead of always playing the villain ?

~Augments (Turrets)

Even though augments are clearly a system you intend to keep in the game, they’ve become a major source of chaos.

The core issue is that they undermine the unique characteristics of each turret.

For example,Hyperspeed augments should have been  exclusive to long-range turrets, not mid-ranged turrets.

If i have Hyperspeed on Thunder or Smoky, what's the point of choosing a turret like Shaft or Railgun anymore?

You might think these augments causes"new gameplay styles"but in reality,it leads to an unbalanced and often absurd battlefield experience.

My suggestion is simple,remove them.

There aren't many augments causing this issue,so you could remove them and offer compensation to players who already own them.

This would restore the balance and make turret variety meaningful again.

I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

~And Some Minor Improvements

-More customizable UI settings

-Separate effect setting for hull exhaust smoke effects (for players who don't like it.definitely not me)

-Buff or rework Titan’s Overdrive

-Smaller icons in the lobby UI (to make garage view clearer)

-Adjustments to Challenge rewards

-Improvements to the Friends system(such as a friendship level, gives benefits based on the level when playing as group)

~A Special Note

I don’t even know where to start..

There was a time when I didn’t want Tanki Online to change because I was afraid the game would lose the joy and excitement it once gave me.

But when Tanki Classic was announced, that fear disappeared and my thoughts are changed about Tanki Online.

However,as I’ve mentioned before, the expectations of new-generation players are high and in current state,Tanki Online simply isn’t meeting those expectations.

That’s why in the future some radical decisions will need to be made like changing the game engine.

Yes,I say “radical,” because I understand such a step could be a heavy burden for the company.

But it’s also clear that company doesnt grow as expected

But..

“There’s no reward without risk.”

I’m doing my best to be honest with you. I truly hope you don’t misunderstand my intentions.

We’ve come this far together. We’ve grown together,we’ve become a family.

And that’s exactly why we want to see Tanki Online rise, become popular once again.

And when the time comes, please know;

We’re ready to support you as much as we can.❤

*Apologies if there were any grammar mistakes I just hope everything I wrote was clear and easy to understand.*

I accidentally wrote the "Contest" section twice sorry about that

Pretty much all the nice and friendly players that were once active have moved on to bigger and better things. Which means that encounters with toxic players have become super common everywhere. And unfortunately, there is no way solve it.

please lol this game is gonna lose the 20 players it has left then.

oh and if we are scared of no no words seemingly because of children or whatever then why do we push gambling so hard? last time i checked people dont get their lives ruined because of "Cruse Word Addiction". So make up your mind. is this game for kids or for adults with a lot of $?

oh and i'd imagine making the game actually enjoyable and not unbalanced brainrot 99/100 times would also help for people to become 'less toxic'. LOL

*Apologies if there were any grammar mistakes I just hope everything I wrote was clear and easy to understand.*

I’ve considered different alternatives, but I’ve come to the conclusion that this system is the most effective.

After long-term observation, I’ve noticed that the majority of players who engage in toxic behavior are typically high-ranked. Since no player would want to risk restrictions on an account they’ve put serious time and effort into, this kind of punishment system would have a strong deterrent effect.

Yes, many of the kind and friendly players are no longer around, but preserving a positive environment in Tanki Online is a legacy we’ve inherited.

If the number of toxic individuals keeps rising and the good ones give up, what kind of community will we be left with?

Some games do have age restrictions, but game developers can’t realistically prevent younger players from playing these games.

Children, naturally are drawn to anything that excites them and that includes any game  simply because they’re children.

Adults, on the other hand, usually turn to games to relieve the stress and pressure of daily life. (And those with a lot of money often spend their time elsewhere, or prefer console games.)

But no matter the reason, no one has the right to be toxic or harass others.

Also, game companies naturally want to grow and attract new players.

And when they’re faced with a choice, they’ll always choose to protect and support new players over a handful of toxic veterans(old players)  even if they're are the last 20 players left in the game.

If younger players are exposed to this kind of behavior during their “learning phase” in the game, they’re likely to repeat the same toxic behavior later on.

And adults, if left unchecked, will continue and likely escalate such actions.

Just to note: Tanki Online is officially a 12+ game.

Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts.

And if you have any different ideas, I’d genuinely love to hear them as well.

Even if you were to ban their accounts, they still have another or create another and still act like before.

They could do IP bans after a number of the same violation, but the effect wouldn't be overnight. Would likely be years before change can be seen.
