Well, I expected at least those 3 days from Friday to Sunday to have 20x gold rate... Would have been sooo-sooo good to grind in 2nd event mode, now it makes no sense to do so.

I and some other goldhunters would be really happy if at least the Friday-Sunday period would have increased gold drop rate, otherwise it really sucks...

Ideally I would have wanted it 10 days long to have golds drop more often but even with 3 days I would be fine

Please consider having increased gold drop rates between Friday-Sunday period. Thanks

Totally dead event modes. Can't even play the game during summer. I can't even be excited for special modes in the next event cuz there's gonna be tomato turrets ? Mode that is about nothing and repetitive. Lately I feel the game is not fun. Everything is so hard, its not chill and theres really nothing going on. And then out of nowhere ..... BOOM! Deathmatch mode for 2 weeks with no golds and enjoy. Nonsense... totally... I'm out.

When people we're complaining about all the special modes during April Fools event nobody really did any changes to the modes. I think only Marcus reacted to one of my forum post but it also might have been too late. It was cool tho that people gathered to this plan but don't really know if it helped that much and I'm not really planning to gather community every weekend to say how bad event modes they're doing. There's just one simple solution to this and that is to make vote system for players. One weekend people will vote for a mode (most % wins) and the other weekend tanki will put second a mode of their choice and repeat this thing again and again.

In case devs are checking this for feedback, I just want y'all to know that I literally stopped playing the game because of the 300-mine and 300-rk missions. They are a chore to complete, and I don't play games where the tasks feel like chores.

The "final nail in the coffin" for me was during the last event when I pushed myself to complete the second set of missions and the second 300-RK mission, only to get another one in the third week. No thanks.

I would likely start playing again if missions become more manageable and all get completed at a similar rate.

I have also noticed that. Thankfully last time there we're contracts to grind so I have completed it by just playing. I believe if I you go grind right now specifically for those missions then I will feel it a lot. w8 lemme go try it lol

Contracts were always too grindy for me. I tried them the first couple times, but then quickly realised that it's not for me.

Tanki is the only game that I've been regularly playing to complete missions. The 3-4 battles required to complete dailies is a comfortable amount, so I would always just do those, and the event missions would get completed on their own. But now with the 300-supply missions it's just daunting — I hate the feeling of having just one mission left to do before the main reward, so I'd rather not do them at all.

I had to buy 750+750 bonus tankoin bundle to finish this minigame and Im never buying for a minigame ever AGAIN. 5k battle score is just too much.

The event missions and 5 UCs provided that small additional incentive for me to play, on top of the normal daily and weekly missions. When the event missions get completed without tedious additional effort, the rewards felt like they are just about worth playing for.

The other big factor is the fact that there are now dozens of new augments that I'm unfamiliar with, and on top of that the whole addition of Excelsior augments, which are just a blatant powercreep feature, makes the gameplay experience less and less fun.

I've always followed the mantra that video games should be fun, so I'm careful about which games I play and if I feel like a game is no longer fun and turning into an annoying chore, I stop playing it. I've already had this moment in Tanki back in 2017 or so — I basically stopped playing for 6 months, but then it got better and I came back. We'll see, maybe this time it will also get better after a while. Perhaps Tanki Classic is the answer.

This is completely fair, tbh I only played a little extra this month as well just so I could complete the office event to get the new railgun augment. Nothing more, nothing less.

A few comments:

  1. As it was stated above, special missions requiring to use 300 repair kits and 300 mines is really too much. I would understand missions with using 300 Boosted Armors, Boosted Damage or Speed Boost since they're easy to do with Crisis or Hyperion thanks to reduction of cooldown time of supplies for them, especially with first one which allows us to switch between those kind of supplies in less than 2 seconds except lvl 0 upgrade. But for repair kits and mines it takes way longer!! In case of those both supplies only thing that allows us to complete them a bit faster are active drones related to them (Mechanic drone for Repair Kits and Saboteur for Mines). And only thing they help are reduced cooldowns. And I have a really good question about it: Since those drones consumes additional units of those supplies, why they aren't counted into those missions?! What are you going to say?! "No no, that would make it too easy"?! Meanwhile Crisis drone literally allowing to switch between supplies in less than 2 seconds (depends how much is that drone upgraded) and allowing to make missions with using 300 BD, BA, SB in like 3-4 battles and like less than an hour, meanwhile when it comes to mines and repair kits it takes hours. Why not to maybe implement such solution? By using Saboteur or Mechanic we could way easier complete that missions and maybe "advertise" a bit those drones to make them be used more. I don't really see any logical explanation against implementing such solution, especially when it comes to example of Crisis or Hyperion drones.
  2. Special modes. Now we have them only on weekends except of course DeathMatch mode. People complained about previous state of it or what? It's not that I don't mind them, but why if there's more special modes divided by weekend modes and weekdays there's also no more special missions with earning 300/500 reputations points on them? That would be a really good, but small motivation to try them and play on it for longer, especially off the weekends. Not just promoting them as "fun" or "more variety" as I have stated it earlier during Spring Festival 2025. Also regarding DM special mode, pretty sad there's More Gold Boxes option turned OFF, but when Overdrives are ON there, I guess that's better since it would be another hopper festival there. Also Crusader users everywhere dominating battles with their Blasters, Lifeguards or Excelsiors and Vulcan or other turrets. Also that Excalibur Augment in general also dominating. Once I saw a guy using it making +40 kills when having 0 deaths, so... that speaks for itself. Not just because of camping tactic.

    Yeah. So many augments added literally every update in this game. And it seems there will be more, don't think it will ever stop. I'm not really a big fan of them being constantly added. But ofc something must happen in game to not make it boring for players...

    Same for me. 5k reputation points per contract is too much. I would understand like 2k or 3k reputation points, but not 5k. And especially when that Office event lasted 2 weeks. For sure it was good for buyers with thousand of Tankoins and/or Rubies and winners of TankiFund giveaway, because it had Golden Contracts which costed 290 Rubies. But for others who didn't have that much Rubies saved or bought, who played with Silver Contracts activated... It's logic those who don't choose "Rubies path" would have it harder, but still that 5k reputation points per contract is really too much. Hope in next mini-games that amount of reputation points gets reduced.

decided to come back to play XP/BP festive mode.

gotta say the stupidity of """""""""""legend"""""""""" players is so high that it needs to be studied. not even sad just funny

cant even drive around an obstacle without driving into a giant wall. cant hit point blank shot on AFK tank. AFK!!!!!
so far played 4 matches and all of them had different players with the same stunning skill set. 

gotta say my interest peaked. im back at least for this weekend.

Just finished playing the Railgun Grenadiers mode... Truly loved it!

The classic Hornet-Railgun combo with grenades and supply boxes — a next-level experience. Particularly the rail-grenade combo shot was the thing that made this mode truly special. Nothing's more satisfying than destroying your enemies with that combo shot, especially when you get double & triple kills... And most importantly, this mode is a skill-oriented game mode. It involves teamwork, some strategy, a need to do any specific task at the exact moment it must be done, and it also promotes an aggressive playstyle, which is a huge thing because I personally had got bored of camping, or getting annihilated becauase of having an aggressive playstyle.

Hadn't enjoyed playing Tanki this much in a long time... Keep up the good work devs ??
