IG it's already quite late to post this question, but I didn't quite understand the answer for one of the questions from the Supergame asked in the previous V-LOG. I'm talking about the question in which it was asked how much the difference between Smoky's damage with Viking OD between Boosted Damage being on and off is. I surfed through the Wiki, did all the calculations and the answer that I got was 50%, basically because the percentage by which the Boosted Damage supply boosts the damage itself is 50% without any drones, as is currently stated in the Wiki. But thinking that it may not be that simple, I also took Viking OD's damage-boost percentage for Smoky into consideration, and also the fact that both the tanks which the question was about are non-upgraded Mk7 ones... Still I found 50% to be a match for one of the answers in the options. All the rest of the answers that I was getting didn't match any answer from the options whatsoever... But the answer to the question that got revealed in this V-LOG (Episode 546) is 40%, which didn't make any sense to me.

Would highly appreciate anyone clarifying the logic of the answer to me... Even if my answer is wrong, it's always good to know the "HOW" behind it...

Just as a sidenote to the developers, it would be better if the calculations for the answers of such questions are provided to all the players in the V-LOGs themselves (the episodes in which the answers are to be revealed), so that there wouldn't be any matter of confusion such as this one. Hope it gets implemented from the next V-LOG onwards...

I was to ask about this answer when the Vlog came out but was lazy admittedly since I'm not participating. But the way the question is worded and specifically the visual representation of the question where the answer is derived from is ambiguous.

It asks for the difference between base Viking OD with Smoky and Viking OD with the boosted damage supply active. There is not a straightforward answer to that question. That depends on if a drone is equipped in the tank, what drone it is and how upgraded that drone is. The visual representation used did NOT have any drones visible. So if I were to participate in that, I would have put the wrong answer. The damage coefficient of base Smoky is x2.5 (or in other words base damage being increased by 150%. Adding a base boosted damage supply adds 0.5 to that damage multiplier. It can add up 1.25 depending on the upgrade level and if the drone being equipped is a Booster or Crisis. No drone was active, so the answer should be 20% as:

677.78 * (100 + 150) / 100  = 1,694

677.78 * (100 + 150 + 50) / 100 = 2,033

677.78 * (100 + 150 + 100) / 100 = 2,372

If we go solely by the visual representation, then 2,033 was the number we were supposed to see, which would be 20% higher as the answer. Instead it shows 2,372 implying there is a fully upgraded drone's boosted damage being applied, which would give 40% as the answer.

Exactly... There are just so many things to consider... So many different ways the same question can be interpreted, and hence more-than-one different answers to the same question, all of them valid... They should really be more specific when asking such questions in the V-LOGs and more elaborative when revealing the answers to them in the next V-LOGs, as to "HOW" an answer is the correct one... Based upon that, it can be decided whether or not the other answers that some players might have selected are "truly" incorrect, depending upon the specificity of the question.

For example, if we to talk about the "Boosted Damage on vs off" question asked in V-LOG Episode 545 in the Supergame, it says, and I quote:

"By how much does the Smoky's damage differ when activating Viking overdrive with increased damage versus without increased damage? (Tanks are Mk7 with no upgrades)"

And all the options for the answer are percentages. Now in this case, there are at least two things that must be specified in the question:

1. Is a drone being used? If so, which one?

2. Since all the options for the answer are percentages, what is the base for deterrmining the correct percentage as the answer? If a person considers the lower value as the base (Smoky + Viking OD), and calculates by what percent the damage would get increased on activating Boosted Damage, they would get a different percentage as the answer. In the same way, if the higher value (Smoky + Viking OD + Boosted Damage) is determined as the base, the percentage that the person would get as the answer would again be different. This is exactly what happened with me when I was calculating the answer. The question just asks the "difference" between Boosted Damage being on and off and not "by what % of what" the damage would be increased/decreased if the Boosted Damage supply is activated/not activated. This makes the question open to multiple interpretations...
