invalid Idea for Ideas and Suggestions: Move Posts to Subforums

ln this section of the Forum caIIed ldeas and Suggestions, your post (thread) wiII be merged into another post (thread) caIIed Category after a few days or so.

l think that's not a good way to organize posts in this section.

lnstead idea posts shouId be moved to (new) Subforum Categories as posts (threads) and not as repIies.

For exampIe:

The Fart Pump weapon behind Hulls post idea shouId be moved to a Subforum caIIed ldeas for Secondary Weapons. There it can exist in its entire form... to be bumped by @RIDDLER_8 every other year.

Because it seems iike nobody cares once your idea post has been merged into a Category post, not even you.

Here, after the mergings nobody repIied.

These Category posts occupy more than half the page.

They are there in groups of 4 or 5, doing nothing, bored, saying things Iike "ldea posts are fattening."

l think moving posts to Subforums wouId be easier for heIpers than to merging them into other posts. 

And everyone can browse those Subforums post by post, and not have to dig deep inside a Category post.

Sorry, but I beg to differ.

The whole idea of the merger of such topics to their respective category topics is so that same Ideas can stay in the same place after merging.

If we keep every single post as posts under the replies, you would have to scroll alot to see even latest posts or posts relevant to your idea. Trust me, despite the usual low activity, I&S section used to flourish in terms of Ideas up until recently.

The Category Ideas were created so dead and dormant Ideas could be merged together in the first place. Looks like you don't know that topics with merge tags are merged into the topics like 7 or 14 days (now even more) after its last reply, not after its creation, so we merge the topic after we see it died or lost the point of conversations.

High active topics are kept inside the main I&S for as long as they are active, merged into some high category topics and of course in the end, sent to Developers.
