  1. Topic merged You don't have to pay money to join a clan. You just send a request, or accept an invitation someone sent you. And if clans will ever be possible to buy for crystals, then it will be an extremely high price, such as a million crystals.

    Live Q&A - Winners

Good point, but they probably thought it was too small of a change to mention. Although I agree that it looks wrong, as if they didn't mention it anywhere because they are ashamed to admit the reason for changing it.

In that case I still disagree. Even though some updates are definitely meant to bring developers more revenue (even devs themselves admit that), a lot of the updates actually improve gameplay and players' crystal income. For example, MUs recently became a LOT cheaper and now any free player is easily able to fully upgrade their equipment and get the next modification for free. M3 MU steps just got TWICE as cheap thanks to a recent update, and then there's also things like 20% mission reward increase, "earn crystals" missions, events with high battle funds and extra rewards, etc.

Your other points are definitely worth a thought, but this particular one I disagree with. Alterations don't (or at least aren't meant to) make any turret more powerful - they simply give the player a bit more variety in the gameplay without having to buy a new turret. Not only do you not have to buy them if you want to save crystals (and you don't lose anything if you don't buy them), but you can actually save crystals because you can get a new experience without buying a whole new turret for a lot of crystals. So even though there are things that are designed to drain players' crystals and encourage them to buy, alterations are not one of them.
  5. Actually, the rule specifically mentions "third-party software", meaning that it only prohibits advantages gained from other programs. So a hack is something you make or download and it affects the game engine. But the console commands are part of the game engine and are therefore not considered to be "third-party". It's something that anyone could use and something a player must learn to use and take advantage of. Prohibiting it would be similar to something like prohibiting turret rotation just because some players don't know how to do it.
  6. So... having XT is a disadvantage then, right? Also, "If people are bothering you in any way, simply add them to the Ignore list" - Ostrica
  7. Valid Seems like a bit of a low criteria to me. A lot of players use only one or two turrets and hulls, so it would be way too easy for them to get 500k EXP on it. Perhaps instead of getting it for free you could get some kind of discount instead?

    Tanki World Records

Would have been a valid record in a time when Rico's bounces were only limited by the shot's range, but now I think the limit is 20, so it's way too easy to reach the maximum.

Selling turrets and getting a refund - never Hover-hull - already planned and might be implemented. New hulls won't be added until the hull system is reworked. Two new turrets have been added recently, so no new ones are planned. Free guns - only as an extremely rare reward for Generalissimos and Legends from Daily missions, or as the highest prize for a big contest.

Updates keep the game alive. It's been proven many times that a game without updates gets boring and loses its players much faster than a game that gets "bad" updates fairly often.

Yes, but perhaps by changing the gameplay mechanics it could be made so that a slightly stronger team won't be able to get a lead so easily. Let's face it: when 90% of CTF games end in 10-0, the situation is NOT okay.

    Live Q&A - Winners

I've noticed that most standard games nowadays end with a massive score difference. Usually something like 10-1. Most players think that this is because supplies and micro-upgrades give players an unfair advantage in battles and victory is simply defined by who bought the most supplies and MUs. Do you think this is true? If not, then what's the reason for such unbalanced matches? Will something be done about it?

  14. Sorry, but we don't allow topics like these because they are mostly pointless. It's hard to properly advise someone about what kit they should get, because you can't know for sure how they like to play and what their favourite items are. So when it comes to things like this, it's bet to keep all discussion in the topic "What to buy? Which is better?", since it's already well-known. There's no reason to derail that topic and separate it into sections for kits, turrets, modules, etc. Closed.

  20. The Garage already gives fairly detailed information, while all the extra stats on the Wiki are not important to most players and don't really give any crucial information about a turret or hull. It's more of a "here's all the extra stats in case you're curious and nerdy" kind of thing. No reason to trash up the in-game interface with all those numbers.
