OK, let me break this down for you... 1. This is something that is required to happen every now and then to make the game work. It's very difficult to achieve perfect balance, which is why some turrets always end up being more powerful than others, even though in theory (when balance was calculated) they all seemed equal. I doubt that balance changes are specifically biased to make players buy powerful guns every time. 2. This is something that exists is almost all free games and software. Playing Tanki Online for free is like using a trial version of the program, which is given for free, PRO battles are like an expansion pack, that gives you new features, variety and customisation options. Tanki is actually quite generous in that sense because those "extra features" can be bought for a fairly low price of in-game currency by free players, whereas for other programs you almost always have to pay real money to get them. 3. Crystal drop boxes have nothing to do with forcing players to buy. They were causing sabotage in battles and their removal helped the game become more interesting, fair and competitive. 4. Daily Missions are actually a benefit to players with only one account. With Daily Reawrds, players used to create many accounts and accumulate thousands of supplies by collecting the rewards every day on all accounts, but playing on just one. This resulted in a large number of "druggers", which were a problem for low ranks. 5. The paint is the only advantage Premium account gives. And even then, the paint is only 15%, which is rarely better than a normal paint with MUs. It's only a big advantage at low ranks, and not many low ranks will be buying Premium. 6. By removing the downvote button players are now forced to explain why they don't like the update in a comment. Leaving a dislike does not help the developers understand what is wrong with a new update.

No, I am talking about in-game advantage. Pretty rank icons and golden ornaments will not make you a more powerful (or overpowered) player. As for the advantage that you think they give - it's completely fair. Spending real money gives you access to unique features, whereas when playing for free you cannot get them. And that's only for the rank icon. Even XTs can be obtained by any free player. The paint is not OP. It's good if you don't have anything else, but if you are a buyer with a full M4 garage, in almost all battles any other top paint will be better (e.g. Clay with 50% from all three guns). I myself have an 18% paint and I often feel weak and wish I could change it to a more specific paint like Prodigy or Lumberjack. Unfortunately I don't have those paints, so I use Helper.

Do you have any locations for it? I've never even played a battle there, not to mention never seen a gold box.

I think you're not giving that little point in the end enough attention. There is no way to tell whether it's him lying or the current Tanki staff are, so if that's the case, then it's unwise to start choosing sides without any actual evidence. If you want to know how our system actually works - become a forum mod and find out. We are low in numbers now, so your help would be appreciated :)

Why? Because following any hateful/controversial comments about Tanki is a popular thing? OK. Word of mouth is the worst possible place to get rumours from. If you generally believe something that has been passed on to you by a large chain of people, then I have bad news for you. Whatever it is that you are told has most likely been changed and altered from the original version countless times. Why do I care? Because even the title of this topic directly addresses staff, therefore this is obviously my concern.

If you stopped believing every statement against Tanki out there, then maybe you would be able to realise why that video is not allowed on the forum and why we did what we did yesterday. But unfortunately you refuse to change your mind and you continue to blindly follow whatever has been said in that video, despite the fact that Arabiannoble didn't provide any evidence or proof whatsoever to his statements. There's not much we can do to help you with that.

10% is nothing for high ranks. If the protection will be that low, it might as well have no protection at all. I think 15 is just right.

Perhaps some of them are indeed afraid, but in most cases what I said is true - the ratio of negative comments to positive is much greater than the ratio of those who dislike the update to those, who like it.

That's not what I said.

What you refuse to understand is that when players are happy, they just continue playing the game (at most go to the forum and leave a like), but when they are unhappy they go and leave complaints in the topic. So basically there are a few hundred people complaining on the forum, while the rest of the players (thousands of them), who are happy with this update, are just playing the game as usual and they have no need to go and leave positive comments on the forum.

And how exactly is a topic being popular an indication of how much of a failure it is?

With alternate accounts there are over 20 million registered nicknames. Like I said - at the moment there are around 500 000 active individual monthly players in the game. If you are so easily convinced to believe some random accusations by some guy on youtube, then I'm afraid there's not much I can do to help you. Believe whatever you want, but this video and all comments supporting it will be removed. That's the thing. The RU community is so much more advanced in terms of developer-player relations, that they understood what kind of feedback developers want years ago, which is why the Premium Accounts topic in that community is a calm discussion with only sensible comments. Unfortunately this community still has much to learn.

As long as your thoughts do not have negative impact on the game, you are free to express them. Become a mod and find out :)

We do not get paid to tell the truth. The only reason we never post negative feedback on the forum (or anywhere in public) is because any negative comments are sent to developers in PM via forum or Skype. Making them public would create a bad image on developer-staff relations. Chat mods do not conspire to ruin battles for normal players and ban people for no reason. Yes, some mods make mistakes and ban for cheats, when it was only a glitch. Those situations are uncommon and you can always complain to admins or help@tankionline.com if you think a ban/block was unfair. In the video he thinks that the players, who post feedback on the forum are VIPs, who are above all non-forum players and every suggestion/comment of theirs represents the views of a million others. This is absolute rubbish and the forum is a complete minority. The developers have their own data about what each group of players thinks and I'm telling you - some 5000 active forum users do not at all represent the 500 000 active monthly players. There is probably something else there too, but even the three points above are enough to mark the video as false and make it worthy of removal.

As I posted here before, at least half of that video is false assumptions and lies. And as the official rules state - posting content that gives false information is not allowed.

Don't take this the wrong way, but to me a player that never ever uses supplies in team battles is equivalent to a generalissimo with M1-M2 equipment, i.e. what you more commonly refer to as a "mult". Just imagine this: an intense drug war, score is 5-5 (6 flags total), your team is attacking the enemy base, killing off the defense, you grab the flag, by amazing coincidence you survive and dodge every shot, with great effort you manage to get the flag to the base, but you get killed a few metres away from capturing. And then you see some guy called Baby_Sam spawning right next to the flag. He takes it, but for some reason he doesn't activate any supplies and as a result, gets one-shot by a rail with DP and the flag is returned. The enemy team wins in the end. Would I be mad in that situation? Yes. Would your determination to not use supplies help the team? No. It's one thing being against "druggers" and those, who use supplies everywhere regardless of the situation, but it's a completely different thing to not use supplies and ruin battles for your teammates.

I'm going to have to agree with you here. It's true that Railgun is the most difficult gun in the game that requires lots of training to master, but I really dislike those, who think that they are better than someone if their skill with Railgun is greater, even if that other player has mastered all guns except for Railgun. Not much we can do about it...

It's not really flood because you flooding posts does not guarantee a win, although on the other hand you could easily conspire with others to beat the record, which means flood...
