Please avoid posting meaningless messages and if you do have a lot to say - put it all into one post, rather than a lot of separate ones.

Those two are going to be amazing updates! The Achievement one is really interesting and the Score Kepp one is extremely useful. I really hope the devs won't mess it up this time

Please discuss maps in the official topic: Let's Discuss Maps. Closed.

That's OK, as long as the spots are marked within 2 props of the actual location.
-
It does. It just doesn't fall as often because the fund grows slower due to the fact that there can only be 8 people playing at a time. I don't know all the drop zones. most of the drop locations shown in this topic were given to me by other players and I just added them onto maps. I'm not going to add Wave because I don't know a single drop location on it.

If there were M5s, M6s like that, what would be?(Like an off topic)

New M's won't be made as they are pretty much pointless. Higher speeds are impossible to make since the server can't handle anything over 20 m/s (Wasp on nitro is already close to it) and there is no reason to add more powerful guns and more armoured tanks, as the added armour will cancel the added damage and as a result there will be no change in gameplay. -

The Unity version of Tanki Online has a different game engine called "Unity", whereas the current version uses Flash. The new version will have improved graphics, new features, new interface, new mechanics and many other changes. Only the basics (hulls, paints, turrets, supplies, game modes etc.) will function same way as they do now. More information about Tanki Online on Unity can be found here and here. In the future if you want to ask a question about the game, please refrain from creating new topics and use the official Questions and Answers topic. Also, remember to use the search option to look for answers to your question as it is likely that your question has been answered before. Closed.

There can only be a generic record such as "most viewed forum topic". If we make them specific, then there will be a whole load of record for different themes of topics - clans, forum games, ideas, discussions, etc.

Battle chat. Although it would be nice to have smileys added to the lobby chat, at least in the selection we have on the forum. @Hazel I think I have to agree with Kevred on what he said about realism. Tanki Online may not have the most realistic physics and graphics and you never see anyone control your tank, but to be honest, it feels more like you are controlling your tank remotely with some sort of flying camera following it around, rather than actually being the tank. Anyway, as long as this addition won't interfere too much with the view of the battle, I would love to see this added. However, instead of symbols and icons I would rather have pre-set phrases and smiley faces shown above the tank. If preset "bubble" phrases aren't something you want to add, then please add floating chat messages above the tank. I can't think of any possible disadvantage of having this: If you are talking to someone right next to you you don't have to bother putting their name in chat as they will see your message above your tank and will know that you are addressing them The text bubble will be shown for about 3 seconds, allowing short messages to be read. There will be only one line of text above the tank. If the message is longer, it will be cut short with an ellipsis and the full version can be read in the chat on the bottom-left The text bubbles will be either white for general chat or team colour tor team chat. If this is to be added, communication in battle will become more effective, since the message will be easily seen This supports your concept of "you are the tank", as tanks will actually be talking to one another with speech bubbles.

Please use the search function to find other topics with the same suggestion - you will find clear reasons as to why the laser was added and why it won't be removed. Ideas regarding changes to the actual Tanki Online to its previous versions, or ideas regarding the removal of updates are not accepted. Do not create duplicates of already existing ideas, use the Search option first. Ideas and suggestions section rules. Closed.

It's here now, on the previous page.

Sure, do that. Or just copy the text and credit the player(s) on the bottom of the post.

Next time please use the search function. In you need to make a decision regarding a purchase, use the official What to buy? Which is better? topic, rather than creating a new one. Closed.

Yes. Because the topic he created has an identical idea and we can't allow many duplicate topics discussing the same thing.

1 "prop" on the ground = 5 metres. A prop is a square of texture on the ground, which the map is made up of. Some of the maps have them clearly defined (e.g. Madness, Skyscrapers), but on others it can be quite difficult to work out distances. In the future if you want to ask a question about the game, please refrain from creating new topics and use the official Questions and Answers topic. Closed.

Which corner and where exactly?

It's only a picture. I seriously doubt that there will be lag because of it.

Well, if you are looking into adding icon bubbles AND text bubbles over tanks, then I'm all hands up for it. P.S. As well as adding a symbol indicaing that someone is on pause or in garage/lobby it would be very useful to have one for when someone is typing in chat. you'll have the option to turn them off, if they distract you or otherwise cause displeasure.

Good point. I kind of forgot it was supposed to be in icons and intended for my words to be used as actual quotes appearing above the tank. I'm really not sure how to depict the most needed citations as small icons. For something like "yes/no" it's quite obvious, but more complicated things like directions, instructions and information, will be very difficult to clearly show with pictures. If we're talking about only pictures, then I would limit it to basic communication, such as Hello, Goodbye and smiley faces. To be honest, I'm not even sure how you could show something like "thanks" or "well done" in a picture, but you're the one with the artists - you decide :)
