I believe I am not the only one who strongly dislikes the direction the forum is going in - no decent discussion topics is OTD because there are rules prohibiting almost every type of topic. You'd wonder why we have trolls, eh? Some time ago the trolls may have lightened up the place in addition to the "fun" which was already being had, but now... since the forum is being killed, extremes are the only things they can resort to. So what do you mean by having fun? Posting new topics to ask a single question? Having to answer those questions? People pretending to be moderators as there is nothing else to do for them? What is it you mean?

Just because he downvoted your topic, doesn't make him a troll. And as long as a person isn't banned, they can vote for whatever, and however they like.

Your answer is in my topic - there are no decent discussions, which obviously means people have nothing to talk about and result to arguing.

Well, you can now see that we don't have any lively topics. This one included now, I guess. Where's the excitement gone? Perhaps an idea would be to have the main update topic in Developers' News, and one in Off-Topic. The one in off-topic where you don't constantly get people saying "can you stop pointing out the wrong?" because in some cases, those who criticise are indeed the ones who bring change.

That's on the fourth page of the forum, so not as lively as you'd think.

That's not what I'm talking about. Did you even read the topic? Also, do you know how tedious it is to read 10 pages of random comments? Because of this, if you do not start doing anything, the forum will die (not that it isn't dead already). Someone point me to a topic in OTD where there is a vivid discussion (so not just pictures) and people are free to express themselves.
