Well technically they do, but...they consider the voice of the mega-donators, obviously. Not that of the average peon like you or me, unfortunately. We're just along for the ride. Also, you're right, the goal of 99% of players is to get Generalissimo. Buying everything? That's the goal of the game for developers, because it maximises profit.
-
It will never happen. It been suggested for many years but administration give us this reason: the end goal of the game is to have all hulls and turrets...so there's no point in selling them if you will just get it back later. Can't say I agree with that, but hey, their words not mine! Nothing to do with this topic anyways.

Problem is, the Wiki is hardly updated, and its appearance with tables is gaudy and difficult to navigate, not to mention outdated in a lot of places. This due in part to the fact that only a small team (maybe no less than 5?) people are in charge for creating and editing all of its articles. Whereas most Wikis rely on the entire world (or at least registered users) to keep articles and tables accurate up to date. So! I support you if you want to make a parser that collects data quickly and accurately, yet presents it in a sensible manner that's easy to navigate. Though most likely developers will not heed your request, they tend to keep a lot of data on the game confidential...for reasons unknown. Regardless, you have my upvote. Good luck to you!

In Russian forum almost every single developers post is downvoted to oblivion. It's actually quite hilarious. At least here we give upvotes when an update is at least somewhat good and deserves it. But there are some people here (like the person above you) who hate all features and changes that developers bring to the table. Anger blinds.

Yes, back when it was called the "No Supplies pass." When the only thing about it was...no supplies! Fond memories! Since most of the non-basic features were stripped and added to it though, it made sense to call it "PRO" pass. But there's nothing "PRO" about taking away private battles and 999 flags. -_-

Check the previous page, we just answered that. It's much cheaper just to buy the M1, M2, etc. But if you have like Smoky or Titan M1 and it takes forever to get M2, it would be worth it to micro-upgrade each parameter but only halfway at most. Otherwise you are just losing crystals.
-
For me it happens whenever I grab the flag, the PING suddenly spikes up to 999 and I am dead in the next second. I hope it's just a sick coincidence or something.
-
I am from 2011, despite my rank I have many other accounts I play on besides this one. I wouldn't consider myself "old" because I still see a lot of people from 2009-2010 who still around.
-
Do NOT fully micro-upgrade unless you have some serious crystals to spend. What gun are you upgrading? Let's assume Railgun. According to the table of MUs, fully upgrading your damage, reload speed, impact force etc. will cost exactly 436,601 crystals. And that is without speedups. Or you could wait and then spend 218,000 on M3 itself...109k if you can get it in the 50% sale. It's up to you, really.

And you could actually parkour or sit on a tank without the constant self-destruction. Apparently "smoother" also means "explodier." Regardless of lags, hackers will always find a way around the anti-cheat, so essentially the innocent players are being limited and punished by this update because of the actions of a few (okay...more than a few) bad apples.
-
If you've played other online games such as EVE, you'll see that Tanki is actually pretty tame when it comes to things like this. Enticing buyers with (often extremely) expensive goodies is nothing new to the online world, and though it's hard to admit it these days, you can still play well without buying at all. Same can't be said for other games, especially the newer Facebook-type games where you can't do some things at all without buying expensive currencies and often useless trinkets, or by paying to speed up progress. Sad to see but micro-upgrades are heading in that direction by making you wait or pay to advance quickly, but luckily so far there hasn't been other premium currencies introduced into Tanki...yet.

Sounds like a simple enough rule to follow. But wait! And hardly even 1 page into the topic. Oh boy.

I had the opposite problem...in fact I was accused of hacking because I (a Wasp) had managed to lag on top of the pile of tanks waiting for the gold, and steal it from them. He managed to get all of his friends to /vote for me, but little good that did. Just goes to show that there are many many bad sides to lag, specifically high PING.
-
Good luck with using M1 Wasp/Fire and M2 Rail at that rank, when others driving around with M3-M4 Vik, Isida, Hammer, Thunder. They will surely love you ;)
-
This is all we can hope in the meantime. Hopefully by the time daily missions is released, all these internal problems will all be sorted out.
-
Umm...I think you will have to PM them. They can be very busy most times.

A few years ago (2012 I think) there was a major issue with lag after the anti-cheat was developed. I guess this could be another repeat. Since a lot more players are reporting the lags after the update that "smoothed" the impact force, it would be safe to bet that that's the cause, but I'm no programmer here. There might be too much information to send back and forth, about player location and cheat predictions and things like that, which causes the high ping. I'd stick to smaller battles (8 players at most) for now, there's less chance of high lags there.
-
Hazel did say the anti-cheat system was modified recently to make it "smoother." Who knows if this is the cause of the recent lags, but I can say that in the past (2012?) the anti-cheat system DID cause some problems with high latency so it had to be fixed. Perhaps this is the case now.

Didn't the price of a kit used to go down if you have already bought an item in the kit? Like the Mosquito...if you already have Wasp M2 and you buy that kit, you're essentially paying for Wasp M2 twice.
-
I know this might have been posted before, but there is something wrong with Smoky M2 in the garage. This is how it is supposed to look: This is how it looks in garage: His head is squished. :(
-
1. That's a good thing, it reduces the chance of a lowly Sergeant having a full M2 Smoky at his level...which as you see is very devastating. 2. A lot of changes developers make aren't announced beforehand. This is nothing new. 3. Tanki Wiki is updated only by a few people, which for a Wiki I find strange. So it will take a lot of time for all of the information to be updated.
-
No. Micro-upgrades are several times more expensive than upgrading to the next M. But that's the price you pay for the early advantage you get.
-
Thank you. So much.
-
Let's take an example Wasp M1. See the data here. In total the upgrade cost for ALL parameters (protection, speed, power, etc) comes to 205,399 crystals. With speed-ups that comes to 673,995 crystals. Wasp M2 is 102,700 crystals, but you wait until Colonel. Make your choice.
-
M1s should not be able to compete with M2s and M3s. However, M1s should be able to compete with other M1s and M0s. That's why I think there should be a Rookie XP/BP format, to keep the lesser equipment separate from the more elite equipment while giving new players a chance to try out the format.
