Well this is why I have switched down to a lower-level account. At least there the difference in power isn't as huge. I refuse to battle Generalissimo-style tanks at General rank anymore -_- It's a slippery slope with how you balance these kits, Hazel.

In Russia the name Tanki (Танки) is supposed to mean "Tanks." But when translated directly from Cyrillic to Latin, the name Tanki comes out. See here. But do you think having it called just "Tanks Online" would be better?

How do you prove this, since it's easy to just say you're 18 when you could really be much younger? Do you send the admin a photo of your ID?

Luckily it wasn't as bad as some people made it out to be, since everyone was pretty much on even footing. In fact, gameplay turned interesting. It was like fighting on the test server, in a way. What makes me sad is that even after the unlimited supplies pass went away, people continued to blindly press 2 3 4, as if thinking the pass was still there. Oh the shock they'll get when they see 5 zeroes at the bottom of their screen!

I can't wait until the updated micro-upgrades, finally they will be slightly more useful. You will get bigger upgrades for the same price, up until your tank is equivalent to the next modification. So you can have M2 Smoky and M2 Titan at Sergeant...if you can afford it ;)

True, too many "cookie cutter" battles these days, they're all the same! Remember the old 999 flag Silence battles?! Too bad almost nobody below my rank buys a PRO pass these days. I think it should be cheaper, maybe 10x cheaper. Or give some PRO features back to non-PRO players. Then most battles wouldn't be so bland anymore. And yes, return the battle names! So a few bad eggs spoiled it, by cursing with it; they do it all the time in regular chat, are developers going to remove that too?! Just add a swear filter, it couldn't be that difficult could it?

How further could it be decreased? At that point it would just float up like a balloon :lol:

Exactly. One short range, mid-range, and long ranged gun, and one fast, medium, and heavy hull are the most you'll ever need to ensure a variety of gameplay. (Maybe a good paint too, but that should be last priority.) Anything more is just waste, unless you have the funds to afford that. Even one mid range gun and medium hull will do for your whole career, but for a lot of people that's just too boring.

On second thought, let's not go there. 'Tis a silly place. ^_^

To all of you people think that Unity Tanki would collapse your CPU into a black hole, I suggest you take a look at some of the better Unity games over at Kongregate (a game site). They run a lot smoother than most of the Flash games there, that's for certain. They don't seem as clunky or poorly made. Unity is really an outstanding platform for 3D games, and easier to add and edit features than with Flash. Developers went with Flash originally because that was what was the best available for them at the time, I assume. Now we know Unity is superior in a lot of ways. Don't be afraid to try a new thing ^_^

It's not that they lied. It's just that they didn't share everything they've changed. They do this all the time. Hidden updates playing sneaky so they think you won't catch them in the act. They knew that if they said what they were really doing, even more players would be angry with the update, and they would lose revenue that way. Which is why a lot of these things are kept "under wraps" so to speak. Either that, or they simply forgot to mention it. :P

Agreed 1000%. Too many times I've seen my team half filled with tanks that only sit and spam "gold plz admin" and hardly contributed not even a couple shots against the enemy, while they bombarded us. Funny, when the gold falls, there are 20 tanks surrounding it, but during regular gameplay, I see only two or three on my team at most. I'm tired of trying to be the one-person army for what is essentially a team of mults. With the gold box value rising, so will be the number of gold hunters (read: battle ruiners). I hope something is done about this soon, no matter how drastic, because obviously I'm starting to lose faith.

This is what makes me angry about the new kits that Hazel is trying. Whenever you offer an M3 to a rank much lower than it is possible, essentially you are offering them M4 as well. Most of which shouldn't even begin to be seen until Marshal or later. Which is why I always fear entering battles with Major rank in them. Bulldozers fully upgraded are still pretty common, and if you use anything less than a Viking or Dictator, then good luck.

One time this happened and he was swearing and killing everybody and calling us noob. Then a yellow named Spectator came and warned him to play properly. Suddenly he becomes all nice and innocent and friendly and actually parkours with us! To whoever that spectator was, thank you sooo much, you really saved us.

They do this mainly to mock newer players who spam this message unironically.
