Thunder M3 It deals massive damage even when the distance between you and your opponents is quite big. Hammer loses a lot of power the farther you're away from your enemy due to the spread of its bullets. Hammer does hit a lot on close distance with 3 fast shots, but after these shots it takes quite some time to reload while you're relatively close to your opponents which makes you an easy prey. Only be careful with the splash damage of Thunder. You can kill yourself, but the splash damage is a real advantage as well. You can hit several enemies with 1 shot. Hunter M3. Wasp is to weak in my opinion. Even when M4 it only has 180 health. So one shot of Railgun with some MUs or two shots of Thunder m4 and you're dead. Hunter is a quite fast medium hull, definitely not too slow! And it has a nice protection too, 285 when m4. :) Hornet m3. I've got both of them m3 and wasp is just rusting in my garage. The paints that have been unlocked at your rank haven't got a decent protection yet. Try to wait as long as possible with investing crystals into paints. The paints you can buy now are not very useful at higher ranks. The maps you've mentioned or rather large maps, so I'd suggest a long-range turret such as Thunder or Vulcan. Ricochet is useful too in those maps. :) Hard to choose. The 3 turrets you mentioned all fit well on Hornet. My preference might go to Isida. Thunder is better on a medium hull in my opinion. Freeze is great on Hornet, but I'm just not such a fan of this weapon. With Hornet (and Isida) you can quickly go to your teammates to heal them.

It's a good paint for its price, thought I'd wait for better paints to unlock if I were you. If you really need the Hammer protection, it's not really a waste of crystals. 30% Hammer protection for just 29 000 crystals is a fair deal. Hunter m3 is a better choice than Wasp m3 for the mentioned maps. Thunder m3. It deals massive damage! Very destructive! It's one of my favorite weapons. :) I'd say Viking m4.

I'd not go for Corrosion. Try not to buy too many of the low priced paints. Their protection isn't good/big enough to face high ranked players. When you achieve higher ranks, you won't use the cheaper paints in battles anymore. So I'd recommend you to postpone buying paints as long as possible in order to be able to buy stronger, better paints once you've unlocked them. In my opinion it's worth buying paints that unlock at the rank of or higher. :)
