I clutched my rifle tightly. My finger wrapped around the trigger resolutely. I was determined, but for what? I did not know what I was going to face. I took a few deep breaths and tried to make a grasp of the events taking place around me. I could hear the Germans interrogating Boris. Their voices were clearly audible, they were interrogating Boris in English. I could clearly make out that Boris made a great resistance to the Germans. What was he thinking? Was he hopeful that I would come to save him? As soon as I thought this way, adrenaline raced through my veins and I clasped my rifle with more strength. I finally knew what I was going to do. I was going to save Boris. I ran up the stairs and took aim on my rifle. The building and stairway was now damaged by war. I could see that this used to be a residence. The belongings of the people remained where they were, the people were either killed or moved out in emergency. I hadn't given much thought of this before, or even during the war, but later, when the war was over. How much loss had we caused? We were the attackers, aren't we the ones who are to be rightfully blamed for the menace? Are we the cause for so many deaths? This thought still troubles my mind. Sometimes I would wonder whether I took the right side - I supported my country, but was it a rightful cause to invade others? All these questions bubble up, but remain unanswered. I stood outside the room where Boris was held captive. Voices were audible. I could clearly tell that there were snipers in the room - their gunshots being completely different from those of an assault rifle. The shot being fired could clearly be imagined as a clear picture as the bullet would cut through the air and take down the enemy a kilometer away. Apart from the rifles, I could previously hear two voices, as they were interrogating Boris. I estimated a total of four people in the room, not including Boris. I read a silent prayer, and kicked the door open. I instantly took aim and began firing. It probably happened too suddenly, I met almost no resistance at all. I was in shock, unable to grasp what I had just done, had I saved my comrade? Or did I kill him in the crossfire? I looked towards Boris, who was tied to a metal chair with ropes. Perspiration trickled down my forehead at seeing him alive. I was relieved. I pulled him up and released his wrists and ankles from the ropes. We had no conversation, we examined the enemy weapons, gathered them up and shoved them in a bag, which we intended to take with us as we were short of ammunition. We had almost forgotten about the war that was going on. The crossfire and explosions had almost come to a halt, while both sides examined their preparation. As far as I could see, we, the Russians were not in a very good shape. Most of the Russians had died from the ambush, a few rockets had taken out two of our tanks and the paramedics were completely occupied. We had few soldiers left in any fighting shape at all. If any resistance was to be met, our destruction was imminent. I had little hope of us taking Berlin - or even surviving here for that matter. Boris remained quiet as I led him to Commander Nikolai's quarter, which was recently established in a residence which was relatively in a better shape, considering all the others were almost ripped to the ground.

The community in the forum mostly consists of those who are veterans in the game and have been playing for a long time. It is hard for anyone to accept changes, and like any other update this one is not flawless. Most of the players who complained about drugging were those low ranks who probably visited the forum for the first and last time just to complain about it, after which they left. The amount of complains against drugging were too many, far more than the amount of players who visit the forum regularly anyway. If we look at others outside the forum, you'll see how content people are with the new update.
