Well all the advice you are going to get depends on whether you have a PC or a Mac. What was listed in "this" and "this" above does not address Macs or Safari. So if it's a Mac, clear your cache. Additionally, if you are using Safari, click on Safari and then click on Reset Safari. Apart from this, you can also try Repairing Permissions. Finally, change your DNS to an Open DNS and that may help things as well. If you don't know how to do any of this stuff, google it or look for it on YouTube, there's lots of help out there. Ahem. You're on his case because of one single unecssary capital letter?? (No. vs NO.) Sheeesh Sorry, but the ridiculousness (is that a word?) just made me laugh. There are much, much bigger things on this forum to correct than this. I see all sorts of violations against the rules in this forum time and time and time again by the same people, and they are never addressed. It seems as though the "rules" of this forum are applied helter skelter and only when someone feels like going after an individual while others blatantly violate policies post after post and nothing is ever said about that. It seems, in my opinion, that the "rules" need to be applied to all or none. You can't have it both ways. If you don't apply them to everyone, why would anyone expect the community at large to not only obey the forum rules but to respect them? Or to even respect those who are supposed to enforce them if it is only done in such a random manner? This citation of the rule for writing NO was, in it's purest form, absurd when so many other things go unaddressed. Though I realize it may not be a mod addressing this, this is just my feelings. Just saying.....

Your criteria for membership in your team is a bit confusing. First you say that a person HAS to be Viet Namese by nationality. Then you contradict that and say that a person does NOT have to be living in Viet Nam or Vietnamese by birth. Which is it? It does not work out both ways. Better clarify what you want so as not to confuse people and eliminate potential members.

:shock: 95%? I have played SilenceCTF many times since I played tanki online,and this map is the one which teamwork is the most important. Have you ever read the display that Tanki Online puts up that says, "Every man for himself"?? Unfortunately, I do see a bit too much of that when I play in a Silence map. Having said that, here and there I run into a really good player who understands what "team" means. In a CTF game, if he is severely damaged, he will drop the flag if he has captured it and let a player with more health take it in for the score. I've even seen a few really great team mates capture the flag and let someone else who has really worked hard in the game actually take the flag from him and allow them to make the score. He will also selflessly work in a supporting role if he sees a team mate going for the flag who really has a chance of making it, and not shove him out of the way to get it for himself. He will draw fire as necessary to help the mission succeed or give suppressing fire on the enemy to help his team mate. He also does not crowd up the ramps or entrances by just sitting there and not allowing his team mates to pass who can get the flag. He also does not hinder his team mates in play by shoving them around nor impeding the progress of the game. He also works in conjunction with his team to insure a team win, not grabbing the flag and hiding somewhere because he's afraid someone else may score and get a whole 2-5 more crystals then him. In short, a good player looks at the big picture, how as an individual and as a team mate everyone's actions contribute to a team victory. Unselfishness and team loyalty. So yeah, there are players like that in Silence games. It's just the bad eggs that seem to get all the attention.

So what does that have to do with him wishing for a celebratory discount? Nothing. I realize that what you are referring to is that the German Army was pushed out of Russia and it was a great victory, hence, victory day. But do you think Russia did it on her own? Not exactly. There was material support and much more provided to Russia in that effort. And yes, his country and several others did kick the Nazis out of several countries during WWII. So there is no exclusivity there. The poor guy just was hoping that there would have been a sale to celebrate and he's disappointed and just expressing his opinion. In the free world, we are entitled to those, right?

He's right in that it depends on the individual as to which you like best and your style of play. Personally, having both, I like Thunder the best. It rules!

Interesting to note that the application and quoting of rules in several threads throughout the forum do not seem to equally apply to all players. I've seen several "over sized images" posted in several threads, yet they seem to go "unnoticed". I've seen several threads where "flaming" or "trolling" takes place, yet nothing seems to happen. Yet certain individuals seem to get called out on these "rules" all the time while others seem to skate by. It seems to me that if we are going to live by a set of rules, they should apply to some, and not just a select few. They should not just be a tool to be used by some within the community who use them or quote them for their own convenience. Not drawing any conclusions about any person in particular, nor do I care to insert myself into some inane argument over any issue. Just making an observation.

I believe that if you look back at what powerworms originally posted himself when he started this thread it's that he is complaining that the Shaft is too overpowered and that as a new player he can't stand it that he is killed so easily by it. The thing to remember, powerworms, is that ALL of us were low ranking players at one time who had to deal with the Shaft players. Although the Shaft is an awesome weapon, it can be beaten. But once you get up to the point where you can get a Shaft and use it and learn to use it well, you appreciate the unique qualities of this weapon and its place in battle. Each weapon whether it's the Isida, Shaft, Thunder, Freeze, etc. can be powerful in its own right. In the hands of the right player, it makes all the difference. In the hands of the player who has no clue on how to use it, it's just another weapon.

Well, hate to say it, but if you were dumb enough to give your "little sister" the information that gave her access to your account, then that's your own fault. Tanki tells everyone NOT to give that info to anyone. So here's a lesson to all. If you do, things can get screwed up and it's not tanki's fault. Then to whine about it publicly makes you look rather foolish. Keep your stuff guarded. Now you'll just have to deal with it and get what you want later. Sorry, but that's reality.

Well it's already been said, so in summation: If you like to snipe, get shaft. If you want to be real active in combat, use thunder. I've found thunder to only be a little less powerful than shaft, but much more mobile and much more active. Depends on your style of play and what you like best. It's all individual preference. That's it.

In this case, the highest I would go is Freeze M2 for that map, and up to M3 for Rail. As to the choices, well either one is great for that map. Depends on what you want to do. Obviously you can get Freeze later and have not tried out Rail M2. So maybe it's get the Rail and try it out and see how you like it as a weapon, it is powerful. Just an idea.

No you don't. That would be stupid and just get you in trouble. All you have to do is cry to your mom and dad, tell them that they are causing you great psychological distress by lying to you and keeping it under lock and key, and tell them that you spoke to a school counselor who said that this could cause permanent damage to your self esteem because of trust issues. Also that it will cause you permanent psychological scarring because they don't seem to trust you and have lied to you. Tell them the school counselor has seen lots of this and it usually leads to kids being on prozac and having personality changes and disorders, etc. They'll be crapping in their pants to get the key out and get it back to you, lol!!!!
