    Tanki vs WOT

I play on a Mac, so I have never played WOT. Looks interesting, but I still like Tanki a lot. Perhaps smaller games with elimination rounds would do better, like the NCAA Tournament in March. Have ten tanks per side, 20 total. Have them in brackets where the winners play the winners of the other bracket, round robin style til eventually there are two teams to battle it out for the ultimate winner. It could be limited to a certain number of entries so that everyone who wants to signs up in a timely manner. And go give the lower ranks a chance, there could be two different divisions so that Sergeants are trying to battle it out with Marshals. Seems only fair to me. I think it would be fun!

Which to buy - Shaft M1 or Thunder M2

I would agree. Having both of them myself, I would go with the Thunder. Perhaps it's a personal bias, but I like it!

have you seen me in the game

I have to say, that honestly made me lol!

    Some ideas

So what was the point of this post (minus the facepalm)?

how to find a "near same level" battle?

Yeah ether create one or try another server. Well, that seems to be a straight up answer. But looking for games with higher levels in it is a good thing! Kill them with your tank or try healing them with an Isida and you are going to gain points faster. Not only that, but if they are better players than you, you just might learn something more about how to play this game. You should not be afraid of higher ranked players. If you keep playing with players at your level or below, you may not learn anything but how to slug it out with the new guys. So I would suggest that you step up to it and play with those guys. So you get a little blasted on an online game. So what? You may find that it benefits you in the long run for the reasons I stated. Have fun!

    MORTAR

LOL! Now that was very funny! :D
  7. Yep learn how to avoid and deal with it !!! :-o It appears as if his point is that he should not HAVE to deal with it or try to avoid it, it simply should not exist. But here in this Wonderland we call Tanki Online it does exist, and the cheaters go on and on and on. Tanki is making some progress in this area, but as long as there are members of the community who tolerate and support the cheaters and hackers, it will keep going. It's up to the community to put up enough fuss to draw it to Tanki's attention, and it looks like that is beginning to work. Soon, those who have and do support it will be squealing like pigs at the slaughter house and they will have to go find another game to try to ruin for honest players who are just trying to have fun. And yes, there are still TONS of cheaters and hackers in the Silence/Silence II games.

    amigos

Well, this is the world wide web and we are going to be exposed to several languages from all over the world! He's asking if there is a way to add friends on Tanki. i suppose if he's only speaking Portugese, you are not going to add him any way. So guess it does not matter what he speaks after all, right? Have fun and see you around!

    Tanki Online 2.0 idea

actually, the turret doesn't go up and down, the shots do  right it seems nobody hit the point for instance: 1) if u can down the turret (sometimes) u can avoid hits 2) if u can up the turret u can have a wider shot angle that's part of the idea i guess, isn't it? So let's clear this up: What people are talking about is to be able to physically elevate the gun turret so that the weapon angle may be adjusted for a true shot or lowered, thus providing a better range of coverage. What has been explained is that in some cases the adjustment is automatic depending on the type of turret, for example the Ricochet. People want to be able to elevate the turret say in a Silence game if they are on a lower level to shoot at people above them. Well, this already happens. As with a real tank, even elevation can be a problem depending on where the tank is physically located. So for Tanki to have some restrictions on elevation is not unfounded. Otherwise it would not matter where a tank was placed and we would be blasting each other all over the map. There has to be some advantage per turret, where you are located (above your enemy, for example) and learning to use different strategies with different types of tanks on different maps. Otherwise, this just gets boring!

    Developers listen please

I am wondering if you have ever herd of an online translator? That's a nice suggestion, but online translators are notorious for messing things up. How would you like to send the staff a message that says, " There should be more crystals put down in the battle" and the translator says, "There should be more things down your pants"? You may think that sounds ridiculous, but it happens. Online translators are not all that reliable although I do use the bing translator a lot. But only for languages with which I have some familiarity and can tell if the translator is probably messing up!

    Beware of hackers!

I was a Community Representative for another online browser game and head of the moderator team. We had a system where the Mods could watch a game and ban hackers/rule violators for a specific amount of time from a few minutes up to 30 days. While on the surface this may appear as a stop-gap method and temporary, it was very effective as we were able to stop the hackers and investigate what was going on as we not only had the support of the community in doing so, but actively had Mods in game who could do this. Community members were able to contact Mods and point out to them the areas where problems were present. Here in Tanki Online, it appears as though most of this occurs in Silence/Silence II. I would think that until Tanki Online comes up with a permanent solution that this could be very effective. I have seen a post where one Mod did kick them, but I don't know if Mods can do temporary bans. Is the issue that you don't have enough mods? Thanks for your efforts.

How did you get into tanki? :)

I got into Tanki Online because I googled browser games and found this one. I was playing Uberstrike, but I got bored with it for a number of reasons. I really like this game and I hope it continues to improve. The biggest draw back is that there's too many hackers here, but looks like Tanki is taking some positive steps to remove them. They also need to set it up to block cheat engine as well. That will eliminate many problems an improve an already great game.

what should i do to get more crystals?

Silent Shadow has given you some good advice. However, if you use the Isida in Silence/Silence II, be aware that for the most part you are just there for the points. There have been an insane amount of hackers in those games over the last few weeks. I've been in the #1 spot several times and cheated out of hundreds of crystals. So if that will disappoint you, choose a different game. Just a suggestion, and good luck.
  14. Well it really depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you get the hornet M1 and the Isida M2, you can gain a lot of points towards your next level. Remember, healing with an Isida is going to get you 1.5 points vs. the normal 1 point. So if your goal is to gain points for the next level, go with the Hornet and the Isida. Having said that, if your goal is simply to get kills, going with the Viking and the Thunder is cool. But you aren't going to be all that powerful at Viking + Thunder at 0. It's when you start to upgrade them that they really become good. So that's it. Your choice, and just my opinion.

    Crystals

what are referrals Referrals means you refer other players to the game and you get Crystals for the referral. I think if they buy something you also get a percentage of what they spend, too, if I remember correctly.

    Tank you use the most

Lately its been M2 Thunder and M3 Viking. Sometimes M1 Shaft and M3 Viking.
  17. Honestly I have been thinking about quitting Tanki Online altogether because of the amount of hackers/cheaters I see in the Silence/Silence II games. Although this is a nice game and it is the only game in which I have spent any real money, I, like many other players, have been cheated out of hundreds and hundreds of crystals as well as true enjoyment of the game. I am greatly frustrated with this. It is good to see that you are taking some action on this. I will give it maybe another couple of weeks to see how it goes. But if real, measurable action does not take place that can be seen by the players, you can count on your customer base to begin to dwindle. And as word goes viral on the internet and gaming forums, you may find it harder and harder to gain new customers no matter what marketing methods you employ. For all our sakes, we all hope you are successful. As a former online gaming Community Representative and Moderator Supervisor, I know that this can be done. I only hope for your sakes that it is done quickly and efficiently before too much damage is done. Good luck and thanks! :)

I AM SICK OF THE HACKERS HERE!!

I came here to tanki online hoping to have a good experience. I enjoyed it enough that, like a fool, I even purchased some crystals to "enhance" my game experience. But this game is so full of hackers that it is beyond ridiculous and the ability to enjoy this game is absolutely destroyed. In every CTF game that I am in nowadays there is always a hacker in there ruining the game for everyone. I see NO reason why tanki online should not be able to resolve this issue. I have been on several other games where this was an issue, it was addressed and resolved. I cannot believe for one moment that tanki online does not have staff competent enough to resolve this. Therefore, I must conclude that tanki online does not think it is enough of an issue to take action. I also believe that perhaps they may not monitor this forum enough to realize that their customers (we, the players!) are having an issue with this. I can only state that if it keeps up, I shall take MY money to another game and spend it there rather than here. Wake up, tanki online! You have a good game, but you certainly are going to lose paying customers as long as there are hackers and cheats who can easily get crystals without paying for them. Banning them (if you ever catch them) is not enough. Take the time to fix it so hackers using cheat engine 6.1 or any other method cannot abuse this system. If you don't, bye bye and say goodbye to my money as well! Any answer to my post??? :x :x
