Yes that is possible, just like with crystals and supplies. I've seen it happen multiple times in Sandbox gold boxes were falling only minutes apart. The most I've seen was four. I began to wonder if one of the players used a cheat.

No, now it annoys us non-Railgunners. Since they can't kill you, they just waste some of your health. But I think the same way about Shaft, they can't kill me because I have Irbis. I was in a battle once and the Shaft kept aiming for me, so I had little health left. He'd better shot my Hornet teammates, so he could score some points.
