That is one way to look at it indeed, but the developers based it on total value of the modules and not on the amount of singles you got in your triple modules. The developers decided the current single modules are much more valuable than the old single modules. I understand you feel that you lost out. That shouldn't happen, so I recommend you contact the technical support about your issue.

Your hard work will pay off in the following months if you keep producing good videos. If the viewers of last month liked your videos, they will come back to watch your newer ones and they will recommend them to their friends too. That will help grow your channel.

It's not a useless question, it's a valid concern. Players should be made aware of the risks before accepting your offer to purchase for them. If you do not do that, we cannot allow your topic to stay open.

confirmed that this is indeed a bug. You didn't receive any batteries because the value of the modules you have now is higher than the value of the modules you had before the update. No, that's not needed. Batteries are available in containers, I don't know if they will be added as mission (or chain) rewards too. The option is already available (bottom left):

That is because your modules with railgun protection also contained protections against other turrets. Those got converted into single modules too. Simply put (thanks @LittleWillie: Only players who had 15 or more m3 triple (or quadruple Legacy) modules get compensation in the forum of batteries. This is because they calculated the total value of your old modules and subtracted the total value of your new modules. The difference was converted into batteries. For a full explanation of the conversion, you can watch this video. 20k per drone. This is indeed a bug, the developers are aware of it.

I can imagine the confusion, I keep thinking I'm looking at the twins module, while it's the hammer module.. Can you explain how you calculated that 300k? The prices are correctly displayed. Our wiki team will start working on updating the wiki as soon as they receive all the data from the developers. To give you an idea of the micro-upgrades of modules: they're the same as what the triple modules costed prior to the update. No discounts for drones announced, perhaps in future sales. Batteries are supplies, but I don't know for sure if the supply discount during the TO birthday celebrations already apply to batteries too. For XT skins there's no release date available yet.

18 fully micro-upgraded triple modules means after converting to 14 single modules, you still have 4 modules with a total value of 2.8 million crystals left. Batteries cost 300 crystals per piece, so 2.8 million crystals should give you 9.3k batteries. Did you have any other modules besides those 18 fully micro-upgraded ones? Or did you have any legacy modules? As for the nickname change option, you can find a 'Rename Pass' in the Shop, under the tab 'Others', or are you saying the pass isn't available for you?
-
I'm not sure. Hypothetically speaking, if not a single player would play anymore, there are two options: pull the plug or make severe changes (if it isn't too late already by then).

I appreciate your clear list of downsides of the matchmaking system. It reflects what most players have written in this threat. Your list contains many points that surely can be (or need to be) improved, starting with the balance of both teams. Thank you for reporting that issue, more players have noticed this happening. Will pass it on for the devs to fix.

They handled the conversion different from what most expected to happen. What they did was calculate the total value of your new modules and the total value of your old modules. If the value of your old modules was higher, you'd get batteries for the value difference between old and new modules. In your case, the value of the old modules was lower than the value of your new modules, so you did not get any batteries.

I haven't been able to replicate the bug, but I'll keep an eye out for more players reporting this. I'll pass on your report about the bug, thanks! They weren't compensated for as extra MU steps. They basically checked what your highest % against each turret was and took that percentage over to the current single modules. Those are the percentages you now have in your garage. Then, they calculated the total value of all the modules you had before the update (1), compared that with the total value of the modules you currently have (2) and if the value of (1) is higher than the value of (2), then the difference is converted to batteries. Could you explain what exactly changed about cooldowns? If anything, you should at least wait till the sale on the 10th of June. If that is still taking too much of your crystals, then indeed, it's better to keep them at 34%. That already is a protection value to reckon with. That is because the total value of your current modules (after the update) is higher than the value of all the modules including micro-upgrades you had before the update.

I have passed on the lag and loading issues.
-
When the game will be ready depends on how well the tests are going, so it's hard to say for now.
-
According to the announcement, modules and supplies will have a 50% discount on the 9th of June. There's no mention of drones though. See above answer.^ Would be nice, it's more spacious and looks brighter.

 I'm afraid I have no new information for you about the auto-finish. As soon as we have information about it, I'll notify you. The part where you can't choose a map or a team, correct?

Turns out my second account got a fully mu'ed m2 module in the conversion (was mars LGC), so the answer to your question is yes, you will get the next modification for free: You are right, players who bought certain modules before the update will have an advantage over players who didn't.
-
Everything will be explained in the video that will be posted in this topic shortly, please bare with us until then.
-
Your first question I can answer, your second question I cannot. Containers do indeed give batteries: Goodbye Africa LGC.. 1. Drones can be disabled in PRO battles: https://i.imgur.com/xS92Naz.png 2. That depends on who you ask, do you think it is too supernatural? 3. If missions and mission chains reward batteries, they might. If not, it might get pretty tough. 4. After every update, the devs continue to monitor the situation and they'll make adjustments if they deem in necessary. That usually takes longer than a month though. 5. Indeed, many players appreciate the simplicity, but maintaining several versions of the game isn't feasible, that'll split up the players even more. Good question, I expect we get the answer from Semyon in the video that was promised to us in the last V-LOG. If you didn't already have all turrets covered with your protections, that might have been the best thing to do indeed. As for compensation, see my answer just above your quote. I can imagine that looks irrational, but before the update, you could only equip it as a single module, while now you can combine it with two other protections. I can't judge whether that's worth 200k or not. Should be, but I'll see if I can get you a definitive answer. No one thinks your a fool. These modules are indeed pretty expensive compared to what single modules costed before the update. However, think about what you could do with single modules prior to the update and what you can do with them now. Now, buying all the m3 modules will cost you 3.5 million crystals and you can make any combination you want. Before the update, you could buy all the triple m3 modules at a price of 15.3 million crystals and you still wouldn't have all the possible turret combinations.

Because for one, they want to see matchmaking through and for two, TO has a fairly small team, they don't have the resources to work on many updates at once and rolling them out at high speed. This certainly sounds like either a bug or a visual glitch. Did the issue persist after refreshing or using another browser?

This and other updates has left us all, and in particular, with our hands full. We continuously keep passing on the feedback from players to the community manager, who in turn reports it to higher up. Currently the main focus is on fixing the bugs. Once the programmers have ironed out all the kinks, it's time to have a thorough look at all the parts of matchmaking that players don't like and work their way to improving the system from there. This update has clearly stirred up a lot of dislike and that's no surprise. Regardless, the plan is for matchmaking to stay, as it is in line with the plans the developers have for this game. So what we can do to help is to collect the feedback from this topic and convey the messages as accurately as possible. They may not act on every single bit of feedback given, but the bug reports have already helped them fix some issues and the feedback about low ranks playing in high ranked battles didn't fall on deaf ears. They will add rank brackets for groups. That's a start. It's not that we don't care, but we simply can't answer for all the decisions made by the developers. What we can do is try to explain how updates work, answer questions that we can answer and collect the feedback players have posted in this topic. The rest is out of our hands. This information (hours played) was only registered from the moment profiles were added to the game. That means any player that was playing before this update has a profile with inaccurate data. You'll notice the same on my profile (around 2.4 million exp, but according to experience earned per turret, it's only 500k exp).
-
That's a cool story, but the reason your account shows a forum join date from 2008 is merely because the forum has had some bugs with nickname conversions and such, and not because you started playing TO at that time. So please refrain from spreading misleading information. Closed.

The winning team still gets a small bonus, but it's not as big as it used to be. You have a good point though, that only 1 measly point already results in this difference.
-
Interesting, those battles had ranks within a proper range (not too much difference) and they were filled? It would definitely explain players reporting increased lags after the update, apart from the usual loading issues that occur after every update.
-
Important detail, while this is a great suggestion, it only works if the player has visited the forum at least once, otherwise the account won't be registered on the forum. Alternatively, you can use the ratings page to try and find the correct nickname of your friend.
