    CLOSED — Cedric's "Virtual Office"

You should ask the Russian mod that, I cannot speak for them. And you know that stinky brown and stuff that comes out of a cow? It's what makes plants and trees grow better.

Those battles are automatically generated when you press the 'Battle' button. Rank ranges were changed with this update.

Episode 144 of the V-LOG is here

Out of the players that answered correctly, only a few are randomly selected as winners. Better luck next time!

Well, we do have this topic for a reason. Sometimes complaining is a waste of time, but sometimes it will result in improvements and sometimes it just relieves a bit of pressure to complain a bit every now and then..;p

Hi, the best thing for you to do is to add that player to your ignore list. You can read more about that here.

    Tanki: Dying... dying... dead?

I like this one. :D I sure know a few players that would pay money to get the blue firebird back.

It's perfectly possible that opinions differ when it comes to Tanki X. Some like it a lot, some like it a little, some don't like it at all. Same goes for basically everything. Not everyone likes the same kind of things. And from what I've seen of @wolverine848 so far is that that player doesn't just blurt out things without properly assessing them first.

    Tanki: Dying... dying... dead?

Then where would be the challenge? xD I do get your point though, it's not that hard to get one or maybe 2 turrets/hulls and be competitive, but it might get boring fast. However, making equipment cheaper wouldn't be the right approach either in my opinion. Whether the game is boring or not shouldn't be determined by what hulls or turrets are available to you. But then again, I'm not a dev, so it's not up to me to decide that.

    Tanki: Dying... dying... dead?

While the amount of players online in the game doesn't directly concern me, it is related to how many players visit the forum. As a forum admin, I do care about that. The forum is less lively than it used to be and many visitors only go to the forum to voice their complaints about the game. We're cooperating with the chat moderation team to bring the forum under the attention of the players, but of course there's only so much that can be done if the active player base isn't as big as it used to be years ago. :D Maybe you're just not easily bored, you're a steady person or something like that. I see everything.
  10. Then I have good news for you, because this is exactly what will happen in the match making system..;p During the test, you were able to create a group of up to 5 players, with which you could play matchmaking battles against other groups only. You could also randomly join games by yourself, where it's not possible to invite your friends to.

Mister and Miss Tanki Online Contest!

If @Sia enters, everyone else can just go home..;p
  12. Same, I used to play ns battles all the time. There were at least 3 servers full of those games (excluding xp, which was in another server).

Looking at the latest patch notes, it's seems that they fixed this problem.

    What is your wisdom?

Little bit of wisdom from me: If you have any issues with decisions made by a forum moderator, send me a pm. Yeah I know, it's a boring bit of wisdom and not something that will take you far in life, but still it would have been better for you to do that instead of going on a mini rant here. Anyway, looking forward to reading some more nice words of wisdom.
  18. The English moderation team has nothing to do with the Russian moderation team. This also means that we simply cannot answer you regarding a ban you've received from a Russian moderator. If the Russian chat administrator hasn't replied to your pm, you can contact the Russian community manager about it. If there's a problem with any of the English community helpers, you can contact the respective English administrator. As for @Maf and all the other English forum moderators, they fall under @Miahak's and my responsibility. Did you contact the right administrator by sending him or her a forum pm about your bans? If you did and felt that you didn't receive a proper answer, you have every right to appeal to the community manager about the decisions made.
  19. Hi, I've checked with the people from the help desk and they sent you a reply on the 24th of July asking you if you can record a video of the problem, which might make it easier for them to determine the cause. The reason no one from the help desk responds here, is because they do not have time to read through the forums of each community just in case someone might need their help. It would keep them away from doing their work at the help desk. It's where we come in, if players report a problem here on the forum, we can pass it on to the right people if we are unable to present a solution.

Episode 143 of the V-LOG is here

That's a good question. In my point of view, forcing people to do something never works out in the long run. In your example, you'll stay if the battle you're in is good, but many players will even leave decent battles as soon as they finish their missions. They either do not have time to spend on playing and just want to keep that chain going, or they want to move to PRO battles asap. However, just preventing players from seeing their mission progress won't keep those players in battles till the end. They will just keep track of it themselves and leave. Or they might just drop their missions altogether if the cost starts to outweigh the benefits. If the matchmaking system results in balanced battles like intended, the players that enjoy the 'non-PRO' battles will stay till the end regardless of their missions, but the ones that just don't want or have the time to spend their time in the match making battles will not. It's up to the devs to find a solution to the problem that works long term, I've passed on your (and others') concerns about this to the devs.

Episode 143 of the V-LOG is here

They just needed to stress test it, which is why it only lasted 2 days. And to be honest, I think it's for the best that it lasted only that long. The matchmaking system needs quite a few improvements and it wouldn't have benefited anyone if the test were to take longer. It's unknown still when the next test will be, they'll announce it in due time. Duration of the test depends on what their goal with the test is, so we'll just have to wait and see..;p
  22. Tanki Online made those maps themselves, they were the first two maps with the new props and they were designed solely to test those new props. Because those maps were made just for testing the new props back then. They were not designed for proper game play. They'd have to be completely reworked and optimized to be suitable as normal playing maps. They were great parkour maps though.
