You forgot to mention the usefulness of a SMP when you need to rank up quickly in order to be able to buy new equipment during a large sale, like the 50% off everything sale we had for tanki's birthday.

only 10k exp before I am colonel and can get the m2 smoky that I have been longing for since the original rebalance.We'll see how good I am when I finally have it at an equal M to the other tanks.

Highwinds I assume you are still getting good ratios by being smart and using the instant firing and impact to knock others off there targeting. Smoky is still an amazing gun, but in pure dpm stats the only things it beats are rail and shaft, but it no longer has the range to effectively kill rails or other turrets at long range like it used to be able to do. I honestly wonder how you survived the close range weapons present in that rio battle now that your smoky needed to let them get close before it could really do damage.

the record for the most crystals gained from one battle was 18000 in pre-rebalance currency, that's 180,000 in the current money. That feat has never been matched before or since. It was achieved by a person playing the full time of a 999 minute DM and trouncing everyone else.

I have also noticed low fps. I am used to my computer handling 60 fps, but for the past week I have had an fps of about 25-30. I think it's a problem on tanki's end.

just watch me ariking, I've already made it to the Lt. Colonel rank today. That leaves me 3.5 days to get to Colonel. I also plan to increase my playing time by even more than the previously mentioned amount of 5 hours a day.

Ok now I just need to rank up twice to colonel in the next 4 days so that I can buy m2 smoky, probably won't be TOO hard.

FrozenGold you asked for suggestions. Well the most obvious one is that it's called "DEGREES PER SECOND", instead of "rotations a minute", and there is a big difference. Please add the reload time to this guide,( smoky's reload time for each M can be found at the tanki wiki). Also you should include the fact that smoky is NOT EFFECTIVE at all at long range due to the 25%, (or possibly less) damage percentage once you pass the range of a m3 rico. EDIT: I'm glad you listened to my suggestions. :)

LiquidSoup look up "railgun guides" or " guide to railgun" in the search bar. You will be surprised how much info there is on it.

IMPORTANT: I talked with one of the developers ( I cannot tell who due to rules) and he said he knew smoky was unplayable for now and he was keeping it in mind. Hopefully this means they plan to reset it back to the way it was quickly, but for now it's worthless except when on a drugged wasp in ctf.

Welcome back Tommy60, I was worried that you had left completely. Now I have a request to make. Would you please consider finishing your epic SMOKY XT CHRONICLES? In the last chapter that you wrote you even said that it wasn't finished and you needed to write more of it. Please reply to this post, otherwise I will pm you to make sure you see it. -
Andrewhero100 I suggest waiting to get smoky m2 when you rank up, since at your rank the smoky would be the only weapon left at m1.

If any of you have been paying attention to my posts you will realize that smoky has been the only gun I fought with up until clan war formats required me to learn to use railgun, but that I was still specialized in smoky and have loved it ever since I started in 2011. I loved it for it's versatility, it wasn't the best for anything, except dueling railguns , but it was also better than any other gun at all position guerilla warfare. However ever since its max damage range was decreased to that of a twins, that has no longer been the case. If you try to fight with a smoky at long range you will find yourself shooting a hornet at least 13 times before he dies, at 1 shot per 1.8 seconds at m1 and 1.67 seconds at m3, (or close) you end up spending far longer then you can normally survive if he is shooting back with a rail or even a thunder. This is why I will debate with Hazel-Rah the reasons and the consequences of trying to make thunder and smoky swap places in range, (with thunder getting the better deal ). Until smoky is restored to it's former usefulness I will use it only rarely, and if you have known me since 2011 you would be astonished that I would ever do that.

Raphael2 I forgot to tell you how thankful I am that you spent the time to put this all together for us, it really is very good. Unfortunately it also allows me to see all the unfinished series that I had looked forward to reading before finding out they were discontinued.

The main reason I looked at every issue of the newspaper was for the stories and gameplay guides, now we are 2 months into the change and I have only seen articles for the updates on the homepage , (with the exception of the buyers guides to the kits, which wasn't very impressive) and no stories or playing guides. Where's the rest of " The Great Comeback"? That story held a lot of promise, but now it seems discontinued since the reporters are now only reporting the updates without any of the stories, contests, or comedic takes on events, that flavored up the news. Please make a new "sticky" topic for the reporters to make these stories in, I would really appreciate it.

I hope that by next year tanki's cheating defense system will be able to handle the moon silence map again so that we can have another 300 astronauts battle on cosmonauts day.

this looks awesome tanki, but will this increase the MINIMUM graphic and CPU requirements? If so then I don't want it, but if you can keep the adjustable settings to where they are the same as they are now when set all the way down then you have my full support.

Fjelstad1678,you mentioned the respawning. Well, what about this line? "Alright, you two, follow me. Please, don't get shot up. If you get knocked out, you come all the way back here to base and have to drive all the way back out to the choke point to support whoever is still here. Remember that if we knock them out, they are going all the way back to their base, and it would be a waste to come back here. So, all we need to do is knock each one out once, and it should be a successful day". Was he wrong about them not wasting time coming back from their "far off" base? Secondly, I still say that unless they had health packs they couldn't have beaten that many with only 2 respawns. Even though Dan had a mammoth it still takes less then 6-7 shots from an equal M thunder to destroy it, and I think it is safe to assume that each enemy probably had enough time to get 1 shot off before dying , even if the shaft was hitting them instantly I doubt the enemy would give him time to reload for each. Like I said before, great story, my problems are only small inconsistencies that reduces the realism of the story for me. -
