Emerald and Prodigi for First Lieuts? What did I miss?

Or husto in the battle chat :P

Yep, it's pretty good when you do that correctly... Though you have to make sure he hasn't seen you, or he'll just stay behind cover ^_^

Hypocrite much? At least FBI doesn't go round downvoting Sel's posts.

The following has been taken from a post of mine elsewhere; I thought it would be interesting to see what you think about what I've said. The best Railgun users will always be able to hit you when you can hit them. This is because they won't stand still when they fire - they'll always be perfecting their aim, or performing complex manouevers with their hulls to rock them slightly for a more accurate angle. However, these players are very rare. Using Railgun is all about prediction. Nearly all of the best shots I have ever taken with Rail surprisingly involved me out in the open, with my opponent behind cover. In those situations, you have to estimate how long it'll take your opponent to reload and come out of cover to fire at you, and then hit spacebar in the split second before you think he will do so, whilst moving. 90% of the time, your opponent will have had enough time to notice you've hit spacebar, and so will remain behind cover, leaving you firing at nothing and looking very stupid indeed as he then leaves cover to finish you off. But 10% of the time, you predict well, and along with a bit of luck, you hit your opponent as he comes out to finish you off, leaving him wondering about what just happened. It's in those moments of glory, you think: That made me look a million times better than I actually am. This is what makes Railgun unique and valuable in its own way, for me.

Luckily, these players are very rare, and so I agree that your tactic is very effective. Using Railgun is all about prediction. I actually find the angles to be temperamental - in Silence, you have to be facing forwards with your hull when shooting down from the blue base to have any control over your angles, meaning you expose an awful lot of your hull to return fire from below. Also, just to give another example, it's really easy to hit a Dictator through the gaps in the walls in Combe, due to its high turret. Finally, the not-so-central centre of gravity it has takes some getting used to, and can seem clumsy at first.

Congrats :o

+1, shows real finesse.

The most legendary team to have ever existed in the English community, yep D:

Farewell Miz, and thanks for all the hard work. Miz has never banned people for no reason, not even mistakenly (ie she accidentally thought someone has broken a rule when he/she actually hadn't)? You're suggesting mods (in all cases, not just Tanki) are perfect? The likelihood is that all of the mods will have made mistakes before, knowingly or unknowingly. Also, he is entitled to his opinion. Though I disagree with his opinion, and maintain that Miz was a very good mod. (NOTE) I really haven't discussed the mods' actions in this post, I only touched upon the general nature of moderators... The only player's actions I've specifically discussed were Miz's, but she's no longer a mod anyway.

From some guy and his mults, yeah...

Kmak, you pro, but the people mentioned as legends here are in one of the following categories: - Nub trolls - Clever trolls - Addicts So, like me, be happy you haven't been mentioned - doesn't mean we've forgotten you... ^_^
-
Partly agreed (the reference point for us being flawed being 'the lack of perfection, as I determined before), However, if this reference point as a human thought is flawed, that just proves we are flawed in itself... Actually, there's a surprisingly simple way to defeat this paradox theory, but I'd just like to see if anyone gets it, before I reveal it.

LOL, I sense a liar over here... Let me elaborate. You're suggesting that every single one of the pictures you 'take, upload, and edit' are un-edited and re-uploaded by some random people on the Internet, every time? Oh, and Eragon, I don't think you should be advertising here - try attracting people to your own thread ^_^
-
Not impressed with the way you phrased that... If you didn't like that particular design, you should've asked him more politely if he has the time to make a differently themed one for you. As for a 'better' design, the quality of that was pretty good. Guys, just appreciate that he's doing this in his spare time for us, and isn't charging anything for his (rather high quality) services...

Awesome pic, fool ^_^ Or is it Archy now? xD
-
You got ninja'ed twice :P Though I thought Ely was a Third Lieutenant, too...
-
True, I'd already guessed what your future name was going to be from those clues myself ^_^
-
You're welcome; how did the troller even find out about your name, in order to take it? :P
-
Congrats on the name change, though I wonder why you used a capital i instead on a lower-case L? :P
-
Welcome back, I guess ^_^ Though I don't think you'll stay unbanned for long.

A majority long ranged team beating a majority short ranged team in Dusseldorf? Debatable. 15 Freezes, 5 Isidas, mostly mounted on light to medium hulls and playing as aggressive defenders (ie not just stuck at the flag, but holding some midfield ground and playing fairly offensively, but still with the primary goal of defending their flag) would still be best, IMO.
-
Actually, 15 Freezes and 5 Isidas would be optimal, I think. Though I maintain that offence is the best form of defence. How else are you going to win anything? Lol, thanks  Isida's probably the weapon I'm best with, to be fair.
