Hi everyone, I saw some pretty awesome parkour tutorials being posted in the Russian news, so I decided to share them with you too. I record an English track to each video, and will keep releasing these guides indefinitely. You also have the transcript available below each video. Forgive the narration, I'm not exactly "voice talent". ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-7wcp9eIts Welcome to the first English parkour guide from Tanki Online Tutorials - the official Tanki Online parkour team. Today we will parkour on Skylark, and our challenge is this red house. We will need an M3 Dictator Rail and an M3 Hornet with any Rail upgrade. The Dictator stands beside the bridge like this, while the Hornet drops a mine on the very edge of the slope. Now the Hornet mounts the Dictator, and they both drive to the side of the bridge opposite the mine. Make sure there is enough space for the Dictator to fully accelerate. The Hornet activates Double Speed, while Dictator activates both Double Speed and Double Armour. When ready, the Dictator drives towards the mine, which propels it into the air. During the explosion, the Hornet accelerates as well, while the Dictator lets of a single Rail shot. So that's how we get on the house - not too difficult. It may take you a few tries to get the timing right though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2g-lofIqmo This time we will parkour on Red Alert, and once again we will attempt to climb the red house. For this we will need an M3 Dictator Rail and an M2 or M3 Hornet with any Rail upgrade. Firstly, both the Dictator and the Hornet drive onto this island-like prop. Next, the Hornet mounts the Dictator using the swing technique. By driving the back part of your tank off the edge, the front part will lift high enough to drive onto another hull. Don't try this at home. Now the it's the Dictator's turn to hang over the edge, while the Hornet drives as far back as it can. The Hornet activates Double Speed. When ready, the Hornet accelerates forward, shooting backwards. All the Dictator has to do is shoot at the right moment, and... voila! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRHqw_u9ESI Let's continue our conquest of Red Alert. Today we will get onto this red house, yet again. For this we will need two Hornet Rails of any upgrade on opposite teams. Firstly we need to get on this narrow strip by the edge of the map. This is how it's done. Let's wait for the other Hornet. Now one mounts the other using the swing technique, which we observed in our last guide. The Hornet underneath now moves closer towards the house, the one top does nothing. When the positions are taken, the top Hornet must drive as far back without tilting the one underneath. Make sure their turrets are facing opposite direction. The top Hornet also activates Double Speed. Like last time, the top Hornet accelerates and shoots backwards, while the other one shoots at the needed moment. Wow, we did it! Thanks for watching! See you in the fields of battle! I don't understand why people keep telling me that. I haven't changed ever since I joined the forum, except I stopped flooding the game section ^_^ Either I don't really care about where this game is going, or I know more than all of you what it's like to manage a community - but whatever the reason, I don't disagree with most of the updates and changes we are presented. When the MUs came out, I was as negative as anyone else, though in a polite way, and I never defended the MUs and never will. All the other things so far have not bothered me, and I honestly like the direction TO is heading. Why people interpret that as me being all defensive, I don't understand. Just because as Staff I must represent Tanki doesn't mean I can't state my opinion, and I do so frequently. I guess joining Staff in itself sheds a new light on a person, and there is nothing to be done about it. I am here because I genuinely want to help the community, giving much time and effort to it, and I'm sure 90% of my colleagues are here for the same reason. I just wish they were treated with the respect they deserve.

Sometimes I find another game just to add some variety, but I tend to stick to Tanki.

What Micah said, but off the top of my head: Read these tips to help you raise your FPS and try clearing your browser cache and Flash Player cache. Also try to run Tanki Online as a separate application.

Why is "by-the-rules" and "boring" automatically synonymous in people's minds? I know plenty of Staff that are extremely entertaining people. Just because we have to maintain a certain amount of professionalism as Tanki's face doesn't make us boring :( I'm hurt. You have still not described to me what changed? I've been exactly the same since discovering this forum, as you can see by going to my oldest post... And read above ^ :)

I'd say Railgun rocks at M1, and Thunder is quite potent at M2.

From what I've seen, Iran gets significantly more popular with higher ranks.

I also won that contest, but due to some mix-up many of us received no prize. Also the prize was 15k as I recall. As far as I understood, the problem was that the original word search had a mistake in it. It was soon removed and replaced by a repaired word search. However, the original winners were never tracked, and only the winners of the new word search were rewarded. This is not confirmed.

To be honest, I disagree with your statement, and tend to agree with those who say "context is what matters". Almost every known swear word originated from a normal word which was once used in regular vocabulary, and is still, strictly speaking, a normal word. These words have been misused so many times, that they automatically register as a bad word in nearly everyone's mind. Alternatives to "female dog", "excrement", and an abundance of sexually explicit vocabulary is still used in regular speech from time to time. Only when it is thrown into an insulting context, it becomes a profanity.
