If you've had an amazing, but true, gold box story that nobody else witnessed...Now's your chance to give it up. Mine: Today I was in silence - one of those games where nothing went right. After playing for two hours and loosing by a large margin, up against a mostly over-drugged team of M-3's. I though it would be a good idea to leave, seeing as I was the only surviving member of my team, and now the unofficial tanki pinata for the last 5 or 10 minutes, with 18 minutes left on the play clock...Now somewhat discouraged, I browsed the maps. "Hmmm! Esplanade...I haven't played that for a while!" So I did. As I materialized, making my way to the open court out front, amidst the heated battle; "there!" sitting in the cove, under the tower that juts out between the two tunnels; was the "gold box". Every one was driving by it! "Doesn't anyone see it?" I thought to my self, as I raced toward this preordaned manifestation in my M-2 mammoth with no nitro - as hard as my finger could press the accelerator! Now, a member of the tight A-hole club; I rocked back and forth in my seat trying to make my mam go faster..."Please don't let me get hit! I'm almost there!" I shouted, within...And then, "DING!!!" that ringing noise that only a gold box can make..."It was mine!" Needless to say, after notification "monkeyburn takes the gold box" I was blown-up by lots of tanks who didn't notice me before, all at once...Didn't mind though...Today was a good day!
