Thank you both very much for your suggestions! I think I will go for Thunder M4, and use it with my Wasp M4. It fits my personality the most, and will work great on any future hulls, and great in CP mode which seems to be growing in popularity... at least since I played a year ago. I enjoy the strategy of it, being able to self-destruct on command, the tactical splash-damage aspect, paired with the speed and agility of my wasp, I think I'll have a blast with it. My current favorite combo has been Wasp + Smoky, knocking enemy's aim off constantly is really enjoyable, but im always out in the open when attacking, not so great for a little wasp with zeus paint. After some thought, I believe my future plans are Titan or Mammoth M3, Hunter M3, Ricochet M3, Railgun M3 and 2 medium ranged paints. Clay... so perfect.

Hello everyone... some of you may remember me from when I was very active around a year ago. I'm thinking to come back with this new balancing and recent updates, but not sure what I should invest in. I'm thinking to buy 300-500k of diamonds to kick off the start. I currently own the following equipment: Hulls: Wasp M4, Titan M2, Hunter M2, Mammoth M1 - All other hulls M0. Turrets: Shaft M4, Freeze M3, Isida M2, Smoky M2, Rico M2, Railgun M2, M1 Thunder, M1 Twins, M1 Firebird, others M0 Paints: Zeus, Winter, Loam, Rustle, Electra, Tundra Equipment that I do NOT plan on buying/upgrading: Hulls: Hornet, Viking, Mammoth Turrets: Twins, Firebird, Vulcan I most enjoy skill/tactical style weapons/hulls/maps where I can take advantage of a weapon or hulls unique ability to overcome a less trained opponent. Ricochet and Thunder are very very fun in my opinion, because they have special ways to hit your opponents without necessarily being hit yourself, making them superior in my eyes. My problem is that Rico M3 is extremely far away rank-wise, and everyone (at least they used to) use protection paints against Thunder. I would play with thunder/rico on my wasp. To buy list: Rico M3 (eventually) Thunder M3 An M3 heavy hull for drug-abusing and take-overs. I have not yet decided on mammoth or titan. I will use one with shaft occasionally. A paint (middle range) Railgun M3 (just for XP/BP - I see no reason to buy Hornet, i do not like how it handles at ALL in comparison to wasp, which I have highly at M4.) So if anyone has suggestions or ideas... anything I should consider buying that I don't have listed, with some logical reasoning behind it according to my preferrences, please let me know!

Come to think of it, some of these could be used for rankup parties as well! The person about to rankup could be at the head of the Dragon/Python, killing an enemy for the last rankup kill. Or The Predator idea, a Jaguar (the player about to rank up) could be chasing a bunch of Zebras (safari paints) and as he captures one and kills it, he would rank up! These would make some pretty awesome videos.

I came to Tanki from another website where I was very close friends with a girl. She made a guy account on that website, and wanted me to make a girl account with her, just for fun. When we quit that website, I came to Tanki to play very very casually, i only planned to play for one week. Out of chance, I said hey, Ill just use same username as last website, didn't care about making up a cool name because I planned to quit. So that was that, my username was brandybabyxx, but 3-4 months later, I had free time and decided to start playing Tanki again. When I did, I didn't feel like changing username or starting over because I had already invested many hours into my account, and had like 50k XP already. So I just played with same name, all thought I was a girl and it was too difficult to explain to everyone that I'm not, to tell them all this I just wrote above, so I just let people think whatever they want. Once I wanted to join a clan, I was too low rank, but I had skill, yet they wanted me to be higher rank.. but I made good friends with clan leader, who thought I was a girl. He let me join the clan because he was a pervert and tried to talk to me and send pics and all this stuff. Then everyone else assumed I was a girl too, and it was even more to explain to people, so I just went with it. Obviously being a girl, it gives you some advantages, and its quite sad that I took advantage of faking this, but I'm not the only one who's ever done such a thing. There are tons of people on various games that do this. Yeah its wrong, sorry. I do feel bad now, because it has potentially hurt a few here on Tanki. Most people wouldn't care, I for one do, hence my writing of this apology letter. It's been bothering me for quite some time and I couldn't bring myself to speak of it until this day. I contemplated doing so earlier but never did. I built up quite the reputation for myself, and I wonder if I only received respect because people thought I was a girl. If so, shame on all you perverts. If not, then we can still be friends, you pick. Anyways thats my Tanki story. The only two people who knew about this were Loktinho (SpreadLoveNotHate) as of a few months ago, and Achilles1233 (Fen-Harel) since the very beginning. Thank you all for your wonderful feedback! :) Do share these with other clan leaders so they can come to life! Also, express your own creative side and if possible, maybe you all can come up with similar unique ideas for clan photoshoots. I'm looking forward to seeing some clans use these, so the pictures/videos can be posted here. If desired, you can even create a clan with a name that coincides with one of the photoshoot idea's, which can be used as your clan's main artwork with some added effects. As an example, take The Predator... The Predator Everyone with Safari paint and one person using Jaguar paint chasing the flock of Zebras in Safari paint. 1 'Zebra' could be caught, Jaguar hull sits halfway on top of the back part of the 'Zebra' that he caught. The clan name could be 'Predators' and the clan's paint can be Jaguar. The artwork for the clan's logo can show the screenshot or a short video of the clan leader in Jaguar paint, chasing down Zebras in Safari paint.

It can be extremely fun, it depends entirely on how well you use it, and how creative you get with your shots. The other large factor in enjoying Shaft is map choice. And even if your map isnt perfectly suited for Shaft, using prediction and a few tricks, Shaft can make for some incredibly strategical gameplay when used on a light hull. If you use tap-shots to make enemy railguns miss their shots, make use of Shaft's ability to spawn kill and destroy druggers, as well as to flip enemy light hulls whenever possible, Shaft can be very rewarding. It's always been my favorite weapon, because I use it to its full potential. If you're sitting, camping all day, and not using your brain the entire time, then you won't truly enjoy Shaft, unless you're completely satisfied with camping in a corner using a heavy hull. I am not one of those campers. Of course at times it is beneficial to hold a position to kill off a few enemies when needed, but if you use Shaft like Railgun, it can be a great weapon in any game larger than 4v4. I must say, I find a significant drop off in Shaft's productivity rate when used in a game with small amounts of players. This is because Shaft is best used while targeting enemies who do not see you coming, or are focused on another task. If they are intentionally pursuing you, then your chances of survival drop a bit. A skilled Shaft player can manage doing well in 3v3 and 4v4s occasionally though, depending on the enemies you are facing. Just my opinions... :)

Correct, this is not a suggestion, nor is it an idea for future Tanki updates or changes in game, its most closely related to Clans/Teams forum section, but you cannot create a new topic there unless you are a forum admin. Perhaps it could be pinned in the Clans section for clan leaders to view for ideas.

For unique clan/team pictures... feel free to use the ideas below! The Python With everyone using Python paint, form a long curvy line, creating the appearance of a real snake. The person at the head end of the line can use M3 Isida to shoot at an enemy. The M3 Isida should look like a red tongue slithering. His prey can be the paint color of an enemy clan/team. For more realism, make the middle of the snake slightly thicker, by using heavy hulls, mammoths/titans at the thickest of parts, and towards the very ends of the tails, decrease the width of hulls down to a wasp. The Dragon Similar to the idea above, using Dragon paint, form a sideways S shape, resembling a Dragon. At the thickest parts, use a heavy hull for more realism, and at the tail/neck, medium hulls can be used, or light hulls for the very tip of the tail. The head of the dragon should be a player using Firebird, breathing fire from the Dragon's mouth! He can be burning an enemy clan/team leader or paint color. - You may choose to animate this in a video, by having everyone move in perfect coordination, giving the appearance of a wiggling Dragon (or Snake above.) Going Skydiving All line up and jump off a high ledge at the same time, spiraling to the ground while shootingTwins/Ricochet of different modifications. A spectator will take a picture at the perfect moment making for a pretty awesome shot. Recommended map: Madness Recommended paint: Zeus (Looks like lightning bolts coming down from the sky.) Going Camping Infernos in middle, perhaps 2 Wasps with Firebirds balanced against each other with Inferno paint standing in the air like a burning fire) with everyone else gathered around trying to stay warm in a tight circle, done in a winter map. 4-5 Hornet/wasps can surround the 'Fire' (infernos) using Cedar paint, like wood burning in the fire. The Predator Everyone with Safari paint and one person using Jaguar paint chasing the flock of Zebras in Safari paint. 1 'Zebra' could be caught, Jaguar hull sits halfway on top of the back part of the 'Zebra' that he caught. Into the Wild Picture taken with everyone using only 'animal' style paints. Safari, Dragon, Jaguar, Python, Irbis, and Alligator. Swimming Create 'water' by gathering 6+ Mammoth+Swash paint users, while having a few others on top 'swimming.' The Rainbow Using 18-24 hulls, form a large arch using the colors in a rainbow. A spectator in top down view may take a nice picture. The Flag Some countries have simple flags, which are very easy to replicate using different paints. It shouldn't take too much thought for this one. The colors Red+White+Blue are very accessible, to name a few. Top down view for nice photos! The Ring Of Fire/Ice 8+ Wasps all gather together, back to back forming a small circle, and shoot outwards using Firebird/Freeze. When done correctly, an entire completed ring of Fire or Ice will surround us. A spectator will take a nice shot from top down view. McDonalds With yellow colored paint, create the famous McDonalds Arch, forming the M while using mines below, write out 'McDonalds.' The Brick Wall 12+ Hornets line up against a white background wall using Red paint. Starting from the bottom, create rows of Hornets spaced out evenly similar to a brick wall. Each hull will have a small space between it, allowing for the white background to be seen from the spectator's view. Once 4-5 rows of 'bricks' have been laid, a picture is taken. The Raceway 4-6 M0 Hornet + M0 Thunders using Holiday Paint Line up in a straight line, forming a checkered 'finish line.' (Hornet/Thunder M0 makes the paint look best from top down view for creating a finish line.) Then, other hulls stand behind the 'finish line,' similar to a racing car line up, revving their engines as the race is about to begin! - Also, racers could have clan paint color in 1st place, about to cross the finish line, or just past the finish line, while replicating other enemy team colors behind, losing the race! Walking on the Moon Gather everyone together using Moonwalker paint, and have the team/clan leader walk on top of team/clan members. The Piano Keys With 13+ people using white and black paints, create one 8 Note Octave of a piano keyboard. 5 Hornets would use black paint as the black keys, while the rest using mammoth or hornet pose as white notes. The Recruit Using 4 hornets with blue paint, and 4 hornets with red paint, form the 'arrow/v-shape' bottom part of the rank symbol for Recruit. Then, have a player write the letter 'R' using mines above the V shape. This can be done for other rank symbols too. The Tree Using 3-4 hulls with Cedar paint (like tree bark) make a tree trunk, lined up vertically. Mammoth or titan may work well for this. Then have 5-6 hulls using Needle or Forester paints as tree 'leaves,' spread out to resemble a tree. You may also form tree limbs by using a few wasps/hornets with Cedar paint. This thread was created with clan/team leaders in mind, because clan/team pictures where everyone simply lines up or makes a pyramid stack are too boring/mainstream. Be creative!
