I kind of doubt that very many people will buy this M3 Medium kit now... its value just dropped dramatically, as some players are expressing almost too much. A ton of players already have prodigi or clay from previous kits by Commander rank, and a load of other M3s on their hands. And with the rumor that firebird will be nerfed in the near future, that decreases firebirds usefulness another step. I was expecting the kit to be unlocked around General or Marshal at most, but Commander is so far away that I think most players will lose interest in it. I feel like this kit will be removed on the next kit update, as it won't be too popular. Maybe I'm wrong, just an opinion though.

Lol... Brigadier though...

Well this topic seems to have died... regardless, I'd love to play a 2v2 Rail + Isida /Light hull (with low rail protection paint to survive 1 hit) with anyone willing in a No-Supplies battle. Maybe even a 3v3, with two Railguns, and one Isida. Sandbox, or perhaps a smaller map like Island should be great for these. Island would make the Isida an incredibly important team player when used to its full potential. Duality/Farm would work well too.

I approve.

I'd say Twins is better for drugging, but Rico for pro battles. And for level of fun and excitement... Ricochet has to win, hands down. I really can't stand using twins for more than 2-3 seconds. It just bores me to no end. But I don't know much about this new balancing of equipment, because I haven't played Tanki hardly at all since a month and a half ago.

I noticed something about this debate topic and I don't know if this is being done on purpose, or if it just kind of happened and the leaders are oblivious to it, but I'm losing interest already due to the fact that the posted 'results' are almost entirely useless for onlookers. The way the 'winner' and 'chairmans verdict' is written is pointless for other forumers and Tanki players because all it says is "So and so had a bunch of one-liners and [insert name here] defended himself well but the winner has got to be ____ because of how he defended his material with reliable and credible sources in the debate over, 'Does absolute truth exist?'" Uhhh... hello... WHO CARES to read that... basically the thing is structured around improving ones debate skills and being judged publicly about how well they can debate and put sentences together. Sounds like an English class to me. Rather than caring about the individual topics and the actual information that was given, listing important points that were made... all that is displayed is ones 'debating skill' without an ounce of relevant info to the topic. @Who.Cares, aside from @GoldRock and @Remaine as to which of them is a more seasoned debater? Really? Or if @GoldRock has better sentence structure and did a little more research. It would be much more interesting if the write up at the end contains important info from resources or simply the debaters sound reasoning that onlookers can ponder over and think about themselves. Then they can respond to each debate by perhaps giving comments. Maybe you'll be so successful and the topic will become the most followed topic of all time. I also suggest you publicly hold the debate so that people can 'vote' on who won the debate, rather than having a single chairman who can be biased. Someone should be taking notes - a transcriptionist - which should be awarded for their efforts and the transcription would be posted in a spoiler below each new debate topic. #See footnote Currently, if you go read all the results, all you'll find is ' has good grammar, blah blah couldn't backup his points when arguments were made against him, and Ms.Debate had excellent punctuation. It's irrelevant to the actual points that were made. The people in the debate are PASSIONATE about topics, and they want their words to be heard so others can grasp their views. They don't care if they missed a few grammar or sentence errors. Its heartfelt or researched material. What if you read a history book and came across Dr. Martin Luther King and all the book says is 'He gave a great speech backing up important points and some people agreed with him, though he had many one liners and a few grammar mistakes, he won many hearts over.' -The End- LOLWUT You get my point. It's a slap in the face for those who defended their beliefs and values in a debate, to be given council about their spelling, grammar, and research abilities, rather than their heartfelt opinions, ideas, and beliefs. Of course we need to have both judged, but certainly the latter should hold more weight. In the past debates, it seems like it hasn't. It'll take more work, but I suggest we have less debates, but put more focus on each of them. Quality over quantity. Suggestions for selecting topics Create a poll which will continually be updated. Whichever topic receives the most votes is the choice of debate. This will be done in advance, so a schedule can be seen for all interested. The first poll will determine the upcoming debate 1 week ahead of time. THREE topics will be listed. The topic which is voted FIRST is the topic. The topic which receives the SECOND most amount of votes will be listed in the next weeks poll choices. -This will give spectators time to arrange to attend the next debate to enjoy it thuroughly, and will allow for participants to do research and get their thoughts together to give strong arguments. We've gone through 9 topics within 48 hours... thats insane. If we keep up the pace, we'll run out of topics in no time. Give each one more consideration and more time to be thought through if you want onlookers to enjoy this, as sort of a 'television series' to stay updated with. Some people can handle 'movie marathons' but not all of us have the time or focus to do so, and we don't want to miss 10 debates with nice topics just because we went on a 2 day vacation. -Feel free to make a schedule using Google and list dates and times of debates... there shouldn't be any more than 2 small debates per day, and the 'big' weekly topics should be given special attention. (The ones voted in poll in 1st) Having 2 debates at max per day would allow for people of different time zones to participate/spectate. **Ignore names used here, they're just examples and were readily available, plus one of them was used for humor.** #Perhaps only the weekly 1st voted topic will be transcribed - which can also be translated to Russian/German using Google translate, along with someone who speaks both languages to fix any of Google's errors. (All of this in the event that this becomes popular enough.)

XP Battles - With or Without Drops? I thought this would also be relevant to discuss here as well. Click the above link to vote in the Poll made by @hogree. Do you guys prefer XP battles to be played with supply drops falling from the sky? Or do you prefer the 'no luck involved' match without any drops? Personally I find it much more enjoyable when the factor of luck is entirely removed. Though occasionally I'll drop in for a drop-enabled XP battle if its a 4v4 or larger sized battle.

Tanki Online automatically "Pausea" in the middle of a game
r_brandybabyxx0 replied to AwesomerII in Archive
"Pausea"...?!?! On a more serious note... it happens to me too. Occasionally I accidently press the 'Windows' button on my keyboard next to 'alt' and 'spacebar' and it makes me pause mid-game. Maybe you're hitting a button without knowing it. -
Np Np :) Lol, I'm glad I made these charts. I'm still using them today for comparisons to determine what to purchase and calculating stats.

Decided to drop by Tanki and play a match or two with the changing of weapons in battle feature... and learned a little somethin-somethin... Perhaps I will do best to stick to XP/BP battles, and No-Supply games heh...

1) Maybe we could use a system involving points. If X amount of points are not gained within a certain time period, a player would be removed. Something like 30-40 points per 5 minutes...A timer would appear in the top corner, as a warning. 'You are inactive - you have 2 minutes to score 20 points or you will be kicked out of Tanki for multing." But I'm sure players would find a way around this... it could have some influence though, on the main system... I'll try and think of other ideas and edit this if anything comes to mind. 2) Maybe we could develop a system which would require 'game moderators' that specialize in the removing of mults from the game. There would be 10-20 of these for each community, and they would receive notifications if 50% of a team sent vote - similar to the ./vote username system, but it would be a much quicker response since we would have lots of moderators working around the clock to respond to these. Each kick would need to be reported and some sort of proof of rule breaking would be necessary to file. If a player repeatedly was caught multing, that account would be blocked for a long period of time. We would need moderators to be extremely active though, in order to remove these mults within 3 minutes of them appearing... otherwise it significantly reduces the chances that a team can win a match after the enemy puts a mult. As players are blocked, the number of mults would quickly drop in Tanki. 3) Another thing is that we could develop a system to not allow two different browsers to run Tanki Online simultaneously. Many mults are of players alt. accounts who are in existing games. By doing this, it would require two seperate computers to be used, disabling the ability for many users. 4) By allowing you to filter which weapons/hulls/modifications are allowed to join a game, I think we could greatly reduce the number of mults in existance. Many mults join a game with M0's or M1's, where M3s are being used. They also join with a weapon or hull which is useless to the particular game type being played. By allowing players to create limitations when making a match as to what weapons/hulls can be brought into the game, then this will also reduce mults. A simple button would be placed in the 'Pro Battle' options which will say something along the lines of 'Configure equipment filters.' Then you simply check off which items can or can not be brought into the match. If its XP mode, you would disable everything but Hornet and Railgun, and you could disable M0s, and M1s from joining as well. Prodigi paint would also be disabled. This filtering option would be usable only if you have a Pro-Battle Pass. When joining a battle, there would be a pop-up window showing which weapons/hulls are allowed in that particular battle. This would open the way for future 'game modes' aside from XP, where players could make their own tandems and other tournaments with ease. For example, one could select that only Ricochet weapons could join a match, or only Wasps, etc. Once the ability to change weapons in battle is implemented, only items which are usable in that game-mode would be 'highlighted.' All other equipment/paints would be grayed out, meaning they are unable to be equipped. 5) This is also a great suggestion - Make the top 50% of a leaderboard unkickable. Then there is a lesser chance that innocent players will be penalized. The problem is that if its a long match, and many scores are similar, for example, 1st) 4000pts 2nd)3500pts 3rd) 3400pts 4th) 3200 pts and 5th-10th all have 2000-3000pts, if the top four members wanted all of the fund, they could kick all the lower players and take a pretty large amount of crystals away from them. To further the protection of innocent players, you would need to require that no player who would receive XX% of the fund could be kicked. Meaning if the fund was 1000 crystals, and a player was going to receive more than 7% of it, they are unkickable. This would be a formula constantly keeping track of numbers in the kick system, that would determine whether or not the 'thumbs down' kick button was enabled or not. If that player passes the 7% of fund mark (or whatever % - 7 is just an example), then he cannot be kicked. Also no player can be kicked within the first 2-3 minutes of battle. Sorry if this is confusing, read it a few times and I think you'll understand what I'm suggesting.

If you join a game where supplies are enabled, filled completely with Generalissimos, they will likely want you to use supplies nonstop, as they likely are doing. They probably want you to have M3 gears as well, and to know how to use them. If you join a match which would be considered 'out of your league' then there is a fair chance that a large number of players there will consider you a 'mult.' or in other words, a waste of space. Just because you have a hull with plenty of health does not mean that you are automatically of substantial help to a team in a drug war. If you are playing in Pro-Battles with supplies disabled, and use a weapon such as Freeze, and are on pure defense... then they might consider you useful, but would always prefer someone with M3s. *These are just my observations from my experience, no offence should be taken in any shape way or form from the above text.

As said above, this would be abused. If a team began to lose, all would simply quit and take the fund. It would turn Tanki into a game where whoever gets the lead in the beginning is the winner. Absolutely no 'comebacks' or 'takeovers' could be possible against any team in their right mind. Regardless, rather than creating a new topic for such... Thanks.

This happened to someone else fairly recently... notice their thread here. It somehow fixed itself though... hopefully you'll be as fortunate. -
Its in support of those players who spend the most time playing tanki. The hardest workers reap the most rewards from their strong efforts. These hardcore players are very important to the backbone of the community. True, he likely is 'well off' but it encourages other people to compete too, resulting in more hours that the community spends attempting to beat the gold box record... giving the most support to Tanki Online. If rewards were given to those who play less frequently, then it would encourage heavy gamers to play more casually... this would have a negative impact.

Information about the test server Insert from the above link: How to use Test Server's abilities - Chat commands As you know now, in the Test Server you can rank up and get crystals by using only Chat commands. How to do it? As you may know from my Chat basics guide, if you want to execute any Chat command, you have to write it in the Chat and press Enter. In the Test Server, the Chat commands work in both Chats - Server Chat & Battle Chat. However, sometimes due to testing purposes, the codes may be turned off and when using them nothing happens. The Administration has particular reasons to do this and Administration helpers aren't informed about them, nor know when the codes will be reactivated again.

Hornet M2 will do great with your current weapons. Infact, Hornet will go great with pretty much any weapon you decide to pair it with. Its great at M3 as well, and it unlocks early. I wouldn't suggest the purchase of Hunter nor Dictator until M3. I'd only buy one if there was a great sale and I wasn't even planning to really 'use' the hull until much much later - just saving a few crystals while the sale is around for its M3 stage. M2 Hunter isn't bad, I own it and I made more than the full use of it while it was my only hull. I used Hunter from WO5 at M1, all the way until Colonel rank, with it at M2. At Colonel, when I purchased M2 Titan and M2 Wasp... well unfortunately Hunter M2 really can't compete very well with either of those. I use it exclusively now as a 'backup' hull for when my Wasp is MUing, and I need a light hull rather than using my Titan. It loses its effectiveness by Colonel though, without a doubt - and fighting enemies who use Viking M2 from the Medium M2 kit, or simply at Lieutenant Colonel ranks is somewhat of a pain. It did it's job, and now it will be put to rest for many months until I reach the rank to purchase its M3 version. If I could go back, I think I would've done it the same way, but you could honestly do just as well or better by purchasing M2 Hornet. You'll save money, and time in the future. If you're not a buyer and don't have crystals for multiple hulls, then I'd also suggest Hornet because its a one size fits all hull. Hunter is too.. but it doesn't do the job nearly as well at M2 and you without a doubt would need another M2 hull (or M3 for that matter) to hold you for many months until M3 Hunter is unlocked.
