Hmm... Tough call. Have you tested your m2 Rico and Fire yet? Here's an idea: join a relatively short match (15 mins or so) on a medium map with some close combat areas (Iran?). First, use Ricochet m2. When you finish the game, get your Firebird m2, join into the same game, and see which performed better after the second game. If you like the performance of one over the other, pick that one to upgrade! :D

^^Dictator is a great alternative for Hunter, but is not reccommended to use with close range turrets, because there is a likelyhood whre you will shoot over them.

^True, there are circumstances where faster hulls are more effective than slower ones and vise versa. And, I also agree that long range turrets are sometimes effective in smaller maps, but I was interpreting that since he likes.to play on small maps, he likes to use close to mid range turrets.

@In10shnableFoul, you may have a point about our discussion last night about Titan vs Mammoth... We both play short to medium range maps. But, the gametype matters also, right? If playing CTF, you need a faster hull, so Titan would be the ideal choice. However, you would use a MUCH faster hull like Hornet to get the flag. With DM, TDM, and CP, you need hulls with more HP, so Mammoth is the ideal choice. So it really depends upon your favourite gamemode. You know, I may have to get both... or just Mammoth. I'm getting tired of Titan after over 5 months of constant use. And, this discussion is making me wonder if I ought to trash Titan once I'm able to purchace Mammoth. And, don't get Viking. It's leaned towards the heavy side, so you might as well forget Mammoth... somewhat. What I reccommend is getting hulls with extremes. What I mean is get 3 PURE hulls (hulls that don't fall into more than one weight category): One light, medium, and heavy. What I'll get is Hornet, Hunter, and Mammoth. Hornet for CTF, with short and medium range guns, Hunter for basically any gamemode with short or medium, or heck, even long range guns, and Mammoth for any gamemode except CTF(unless you are defending the flag), with medium or long range guns. This combo will cover basically ANY SITUATION! So to sum it up: Hornet for offense, Hunter for literally any role, and Mammoth for defense, and "laid-back" offense (shooting from mid-map). THOUGHTS?

Smoky would be great (its unlocked at the same rank as Titan so that's convienient) for medium range batttles, Firebird'll be great for short range battles, in my opinion.

Very true, but not in m2. with the current stats (idk what it'll be like with the new physics), would you rather have 8hp more with the Mammoth, or .9 speed with the Titan? Obviously, Titan. It's basically a whole extra speed point for 8hp... Heck, if you still want Mammoth go ahead, no one's stoppin' ya, but it's just not recommended.

Idk why it has to be Hornet, but I wouldn't go for Mammoth either, because TItan is much better in my opinion. Lots'o speed for a few HP
