Right, I should disqualify myself :lol: If seriously, by saying "developers" we mean everyone who works at the office and contributes to the development of the game, it's not only about writing a code and programming. As for ranks, this is a rule for players, to prevent some individuals from applying with alts as well and getting a higher chance of getting picked for the tandem.

Tandems will be picked randomly. Two random players from each community. M3 turret and hull will be removed from players' garages right after the battles. As for the paint, it's not clear at the moment, will be discussed.

You might play with them in any community. All 3 tandems of players will play with the same devs tandem, the one that will come first at Alternativa's stage.

The Battle of Rusty Barrels is over! Players have showed great skills and team work, especially the English ones! Still, the developers tandem was stronger and won all 3 battles. The time has come for developers to face players in battle. After many months of hard working, programmers, artists, designers and other members of AlternativaPlatform team are gearing up for the fight. One of the most interesting events of the season is coming. Its name is the Battle of Rusty Barrels. This 2 vs 2 mini tournament will consist of 2 stages. The first one will take place inside the company. We’ll determine the strongest pair of players among the developers. We have a total of 10 tandems that are willing to take part. (See their names below the spoiler) Battles between developers will be held from January 20 to 24. — First, there will be a group stage that will take place from January 20 to 22. — 4 best couples will then take part in semifinals on January 23. — The final battle for the name of the most skilled tandem of Alternativa will happen on Friday, January 24. Then, using a special site, we’ll collect nicknames of those of you who want to fight with the devs. The site will start accepting applications at 8 am (UTC+0) on January 25 and will be closed 24 hours after. Please note that to take part you need to be at least a 3rd Lieutenant and have an email linked to your account, as you will need to confirm your application. On January 28 we'll randomly choose 2 players from each community (English, German and Russian). Right after announcing their names, 2 paints will appear in the garage, "for developers" and "for players". Each paint will cost 500 crystals. Crystals spent on these paints by players will form the prize pool. The superfinals will take place at 4 pm (UTC+0) on January 31. The best developers tandem will fight with 3 pairs of players, 1 from each community. The winner will be determined according to results of these battles. If players win 2 battles out of 3, the prize pool, consisting of crystals of those who bought special paints, gets doubled. If tankers win all 3 battles, it gets tripled. The prize pool will be divided between true fans of the winning side. By a true fan we mean a player that bought only one of the paints. Each of 2 members of a tandem gets 50 000 crystals for beating the developers. Hello. Banned players will soon be able to see archived topics as well, not sure about reputation. As for Cybersport 2.0, it hasn't been fully implemented in any community. Russians simply changed forum sections. We and Germans haven't done it yet (Check the DE forum) simply because at the moment we don't have enough information to divide all existing clans and teams into 4 leagues correctly. Once the WQT is over, we'll divide clans into Top League and League 2 according to places they take in the tournament. Teams will be divided into League 3 and League 4 according to equipment they have (M2 teams will be in L4, M3 ones will end up in L3). So no worries, just have patience, it will be implemented when everything's ready.
