Ok well this is the reason why I play DM. If you play CTF, you need to win the battle in order to receive a decent amount of crystals, because in team battles, the fund is unevenly split. But in DM, if there are no druggers and not a lot of players with OP kits, the fund is very evenly split, e.g. players at the top of the chart get more, and players at the bottom, less. And with the stealing kills thing... If you're using Fire or Freeze, then obviously you will get kill stolen a lot. But even for other weapons like Twins and Smoky, it is hard to steal kills, since you do not know how much HP they have left. I've been playing DM pretty much my entire Tanki career, and I have gotten used to it.

I don't hate warrants. But I hate it when a warrant joins my team with some noob M0 combo. It's like an automatic-loss for my team.

You need to fully upgrade the parameter to get the discount. So, if you fully MU the reload time on Shaft M2, M3 Shaft will be a bit cheaper.

Ok, so another reason why I normally play DM. So I played some short Sandbox CTF battles, with everything on, including supply drops. But it annoys me when there are two DD boxes, and your teammate takes them both and leaves none for you. Or, they have full health and you don't; and yet they still take the first aid, even when they didn't even need it. Is there a way to remove these kinds of noobs from the game, yet still be able to play in battles with supply drops?

Have you even tried M2 Thunder? It is good, but with the huge amount of Thunder paints, it sucks.

Smoky M2. Thunder M3 unlocks at Brig, and if you wanted to use Thunder in the long run, you should have gotten it earlier. Go with Smoky, it lasts a long time after Colonel.
