I use a desktop, not a laptop. No brand, as I built it myself. It has a GTX 970 so 60 FPS at full settings is a breeze.

I built my own (£900) PC a few weeks ago, and I just want to say that it's a lot easier than people think to build from scratch. ;) Your components look decent for the budget, although I'd recommend an i5 instead of an i3 if you are able to extend your budget a bit. Apart from that, everything looks good.

If you want to buy a car just to attract 'gold diggers', that's your choice. I'd rather buy a car which is cheaper, more fun, and will attract like-minded people who are also smart enough to know about the high performance of a GTR.

This ^ I said that the GTR would beat any supercar off the line. Because its acceleration is unmatched, especially with the launch control setting. On the other hand, that Lambo will probably have a higher top speed than the Nissan, but the Nissan is a fraction of the price and would always win in a drag race.

A GTR will beat any of these supercars off the line.

True. :) Plus smaller players always seem to gang up on you so they can steal your mass once you have been split.

One of the advantages at large mass is the sheer amount of small particles and new players which you pick up, even by going in straight lines. Aside from that, my main tactic is establishing the corner of the 'map' and then slowly moving in and cornering multiple players - it makes for easy mass if they are unaware of their impending doom. :) The only real problem for me at these stages is the viruses, as they can be hard to navigate around, and smarter players will fire mass at them in an attempt to split you.
