Nice comparison to the old Tanki crystal mechanics. Of course, now with the new system, the most successful Gold Box catchers know how to keep a sharp lookout and be within rang of nearly all the "popular" drop zones. Also, ,coming back to the aforementioned point about mults, with the new crystal mechanics, there are no longer players who join matches with the express intention of leaving after the Gold Box falls at 700 crystals. This new generation of Gold Box hunters stay for the whole match, in the knowledge yet another Gold Box may fall. So yes, the new drop locations of Gold Boxes makes it harder to suppose where it shall fall, though adds yet another layer of diversity that requires more skill than ever before. If lukey0 JackN1 are able to catch as many Gold Boxes as they do, that simply shows they have mastered a system that few have. By looking at the number of Gold Boxes they have caught, it becomes evident that they have a little something more than luck... skill. So, we have flooded this topic enough, if you should care to continue our discussion for the sake of a hearty debate, feel free to send me a PM. :)

Why? Are you into XP battles?

A well said counter argument, though the fact that they devote more time to the game shows their quality of persistence. Also, with all of the time they spend in the game, one would be left to assume they are catching a majority of the Gold Boxes that fall within the match they are playing. No, share with us what our eyes may not see, oh wise flae. What is it that your mind's eye may reveal to us?:D

Well the developers have been working day and night to make all of the turrets and hulls as balanced as they can make them. It really all comes down to preference. You ought to experiment with all of the turrets before you try buying an M1 (or even an M2 in the near future for you!). I'd personally suggest that you begin by upgrading Isida to M1, as it will serve you well. The fact that you can earn XP for healing means you don't have to go into the heat of the battle and hurt your D/L, and can help you rank significantly faster if used to it's maximum potential. This turret can operate well in team matches or in a Death Match, so it is fairly versatile. Though in conclusion, let me return to they key point that ever tanker prefers a different combo, so don't let me sway you one way or the other all too easily. Good luck in choosing your next upgrade! :)

Those who can take Gold Boxes are skilled, and should never be compared to a mult. Both of the above mentioned players are extremely skilled and deserve much respect. Please be polite upon suggesting an update/new record. :)

:o Oh, good, good. Just take baby steps, you wouldn't want to do it all at once, just work your way up to it all.

There is already a similar topic in existence: Ask Me Anything! Additionally, there are a team of players ready to help anyone in need of assistance. Consultants can be found from server to server, and on the forum at times, and have a vast knowledge base about Tanki. Forum Moderators work explicitly on the forum to keep it clean, but are also here to explain things to players. Closed.

As said above, the paint you are referring to is Ruby, only given to Forum Moderators, and is of no relation to Godmode_On, nor does it maintain any protective properties, such as that of Godmode_On's paint. Archy actually is a Forum Moderator, hence he has the paint Ruby. A similar topic has already been made: Godmode's appeal Closed.

The best course of action is to contact help@tankionline.com and perhaps if you thoroughly explain your predicament, you may be able to get a refund, though the process is thorough, and lies easily caught. So make sure this is really a problem before you take this to them. In the future please post all your issues here: Problems and Solutions Closed.

This sounds like a neat idea! Maybe in a map like Rio and in a given time of five minutes, each team has to get at least one of their members as high up as they can. Then with the team that placed at least one of their members the highest, would win. Though we could still have the flags involved to show who the team's primary focus is. The member that has the flag should be at least the first one to reach the point the team is trying to. After a minor discussion with one of my colleagues we agreed that this topic is not an original idea that requires attribution towards you. This is simply the lead up to brilliant ideas to come and an official location where these brilliant ideas may reside.

You may take note that all of the screen shots are taken while in the Death Match mode, implying that the above shown positions may be taken without the implications of being on a team.

Review [Issue 27] The Life of a Reporter - Behind the Scenes
MarineMan2 replied to hogree in Newspaper Archive
You guys are like elves, you work all month long to put out this amazing newspaper and then, upon publication, just as happily you resume your work for the next newspaper. Thanks for all the work you guys, to Hog and all of the Reporters! Give yourselves a hearty pat on the back. :) -
From the quality of your playing, it sounds more like you just want someone to finally acknowledge your fantastic musical abilities! I am telling you, Goldy is book smart, but Flae has the "mind's eye". Check it out: Flae's fortune shop

The Smart Cooldowns update has only been out for a few days now, though has been through thorough testing. It only allows players to use one supply at a time, so rather than being able to press, "2, 3, 4" all at once, you may only select one supply to activate, and then proceed to collect others. This adds a new intense dynamic to the game, and should be tested out for about a week before receiving any real scrutiny. The official update information may be found here, and you are invited to give your feedback: Smart Cooldowns Answered, closed.

Though I understand and appreciate what you are saying, I thought I ought to point out some of the prominent benefits related to this update. The color of the text in the chat allows the player to clearly define if he/she is writing to the team or to all the participants of the match and making it clear if only the team is seeing a message received by a player or the entire match. Using, "Tab" rather than the previous commands, now allows players to easily flip sending a message to all participants of a match or just their team, rather than having to lose all of their progress in typing in order to switch what party shall receive the message. So in conclusion, I highly doubt the chat will return to it's previous state. This is a small step forward in development, that can only lead to the ultimate benefit of the community! :)
