As @coconuttree has already mentioned above, the Matchmaking System is not GS-based (and never will be due to the very core-flawed logic it would impose), so such an exploitation (or any other in that matter) would simply not be possible.

Unfortunately, a refund in such cases (even if supposed mishaps) is not possible. The most you can do is be a tad bit more careful in the future.

Once completed, the rewards of special missions have to be claimed before they officially end with the event, otherwise their reward after completion will disappear together with them once the available time for completing them officially runs out, so be careful and don't hold on to them, but rather claim them immediately once finished. Depending on the level of micro-upgrades, the Defender drone increases the supply's (in this case that of double armour) power, ranging from anywhere between 50% (which is the default level of additional protection from activating the double armour supply) and up to 200% at a fully MU-ed drone. So if a player's tank has 2000 HP for example, their HP would be increased to 6000 HP in case of a fully MU-ed Defender drone, and wouldn't directly decrease the damage of your shot itself by 200%, but merely add on more effective armour.

Premium Account (which there's an abundance of currently) [possibly combined with the Beginner's Pass as well, depending on the player's rank], increased battle funds, tons of special April Fool's gold boxes with an increased drop-rate, only playing in the special DM holiday mode, missions.. etc. Super simple.

It's simply an "empty" gold box without any special reward, which destroys of all the players in the near proximity of the drop zone upon being caught, and all of the kills from it are credited to the player who caught it. As @coconuttree has already kindly mentioned above, prior to starting to complete the special missions you're required to visit the 'Special' tab of the Missions' section of the game (only available in the HTML5 version), otherwise your progress toward the missions unfortunately won't count. Once you do that however, you're good to go, and playing on any either version (HTML5 or Flash) of the game will count toward your special missions' progress (with the exception that they'll only be claimable in the HTML5 version once completed). Additionally, do note that in order for the special April Fool's gold box mission to be completed, all of the required gold boxes need to be caught in the special Gubakha DM holiday mode. Same goes for the current special 'Get 2000 kills' mission, which can only be completed by playing in any of the matchmaking, non-PRO battles. Answered.
