An M4 Shaft will not be able to one shot you. The person who one shot 812 obviously has HC on, and that’s a pretty big disadvantage in battle. Ot we could talk about the plague of Large Caliber Rounds.

Is little baby angry? I don't know about you, but I almost never camp at my base sniping people from afar. I will go out into the open and I don't care if I die. I don't exploit an OP Overdrive like you do, so I highly advise you stop trashtalking someone who actually helps the team with Dictator.

That's assuming you camp at the back of the map like Magnums.

Stop complaining about our ability to one-shot you. If you're constantly getting sniped, then maybe you deserve it.

    Let's Discuss Overdrives

Why do you think I quit? OK, so I was in the way of someone in the corner of Massacre. That makes a lot of sense. Highland CTF. Blue team. I spawn in for my second life after narrowly catching the Nuclear Energy box. Looking for someone to give my Supplies Overload to, I spot a Viking-Gauss. "He seems promising," I thought. I give him the Overdrive. He turns his turret towards me and starts pushing me. 5 seconds later, he self-destructs. On full HP. There was no one in the vicinity. I had to deal with the worst stuff you can imagine on Earth, and yet, I don't go out of my way to spoil someone's mood. I don't care if Viking's stability sucks, it doesn't give you an excuse for deliberately ramming into a Dictator-Shaft who is scoped in in Brest. That's sabotage. If people keep doing that, I'll go out of my way to get their account blocked. I don't care what it takes. I can't tolerate people who do that kinda stuff.

    Let's Discuss Overdrives

I agree about Hornets and Titans, but from my experience, I've learned that Vikings are the most ungrateful out of the hulls. I would much rather give it to a Hunter so he can walk in to the base and EMP everyone so we can get more kills. I even sometimes give it to Dictators (for example, there was this Dictator-Shaft on Solikamsk today that shared his OD with me all the time. I kept giving it back, and we all ended up with 25+ kills at the end of the match. Good guy) You just went to town on that guy! The first time I read this, I laughed so hard I almost spit out my water. There are people that break from their shell easily. but most don't and keep calling you useless..) On my mid-rank account, I saw 95% of people using Viking in quick battles. There was even a match in which I was the only non-Viking in TDM... Last time I checked, this wasn't a competitive game at all. No offense, but if you care so much about quick battles here, you have no idea how stressful Tanki X's Ranking Play was. That game made you become better because your life quite literally depended on it. Back to topic. I have seen none of the above example of Vikings being nice to me (except the Isida). In fact, I even had a Viking that would deliberately mess up my aim as I would go into sniping mode. And if that wasn't enough, one other person came up to me when my Supplies Overload was ready. Being the person that I was, I gave it to him. He was on full HP - 5 seconds later, he self-destructs as a show of rudeness and then starts calling me out in the worst ways imageneable. I don't want to go into details, but this is what pushed it over the edge.

As you move up the ranks, less people will use Viking (of course, stilla lot) and they will start thanking you. Just hold on.

    Let's Discuss Overdrives

I have many ways to counter it as well. It isn't how OP it is that ticks me off, it's the fact that the usage rate is through the roof. People with Viking are generally very rude and deliberately take the Overdrive box away from when either I or someone else is using Dictator in team battles. You know that today, a Viking-Isida actually thanked me for sharing an Overdrive with them? That's the first time a Viking has ever thanked me for sharing Overdrive charge. People who run other hulls thank me without fail. Conclusion: People who run Viking (80%) are selfish as hell. They only care about themselves and their Berserk Reactor. That's all folks!

    Let's Discuss Overdrives

I'm glad that this is the case. Viking is probably the mose selfish Overdrive there is, and yet still 80% of people use it. I'm glad that it's this way at least. Let them suffer.

Back in 2014-15, there actually was that. A gold box dropped straight away sometimes and the text would literally read, "A Gold Box has dropped".

What to buy? Which is better?

It's actually very entertaining to use. Once people realize that they were stupid enough not to buy protection against you, they start to run like chickens. Of course, that doesn't help them, but like I said, entertaining.
  15. All right, let's run some quick calculations. Shaft M4 does a flat 3300 damage. Couple that with Heavy Capacitors (a 25% increase) and you've got 4125 damage. Now, your Viking. With DA, we already slice off half of the damage, assuming he was not using DD. That is 2062.5 already. Now, we factor in the 37%. That is 1300. If what you say is true about your opponent using Viking, then there is statistically no way for him to get a one-shot kill if he doesn't have the Booster drone. You must have been hit by a Gauss or a Thunder for him to take the killing shot. So, I guess you better start upgrading that Eagle module.

What to buy? Which is better?

Probably the only explanation I can accept for someone's abuse of this turret. I have encountered many Reinforced Carriage Magnums sporting Viking. You know my hatred towards Vikings already, but this is brought to another level when a lone Magnum kills my Juggernaut tank within 2 seconds. Mortar Magnums are another evil altogether. Camping at the back launching tubes all game - it's like MW2 multiplayer all over again. This has brought one good thing, however. I see that the Magnums sporting Mortar have started using the Miner drone - a drone which you would virtually see no one use. Well, at least the drone now gets its 15 minutes of fame - until Magnum inevitably gets nerfed. True. Yeah, I don't know what they did when they were calculating the damage figures for Vulcan. It's a bit weird but at least it's pretty consistent when it comes to quick kills. It really is a melt machine, isn't it? Since no one bothers to put protections against Vulcan, you can just use that to your advantage, especially in DMs where you have to watch those corners (this is why SSR is so useful). The only turrets I have in my garage that are M3+ are the ones that are not ridiculously OP but are strong enough to be rewarding. Nothing makes me more mad than to see countless people abusing and exploiting OP turrets and Overdrives... It really does pair well with Dictator. That headglitch on Wolfenstein scored me many kills when I was getting stars for the Challenge. Dictator's weight and turning profile makes it ideal for Vulcan with its gyroscope. I genuinely think that is kit is on the better end of the spectrum of M3 kits in Tanki. It pays you back fully not only through battles, but also through golds. I mean, come on, Dictator is a literal gold box magnet. Even with the new Overdrives, you can still catch the occasional container. Nothing makes me happier. Stormbringer: 10/10 would recommend

What to buy? Which is better?

I made some mistakes along the way when buying my ktis, but since you already have a maxed-out Shaft-Hunter and Rico M3, there's really no point in getting the Redneck kit. That can wait until you get to Marshal. As for your choices, I think you should go with Hornet-Shaft and Dictator-Vulcan. I know I'm leaving out Hunter, but allow me to explain. The swaying on Hunter while scoping in has recently become horrendous. I don't know why this happened, even though I initially assumed it was to do with weight. Wrong. Even Hornet was much more stable when zooming in. So I switched to Dictator, and everything became much better. It flinches way less when it's shot at, it is the best team asset, and it is also a gold box magnet. Nobody gives enough praise to Vulcan M3, so let me start this off. Vulcan M3 is a huge step up from M2, and it is definitely very worth it. You deal a 100 damage per shot, so combined with DD and Booster, you're going to be doing some crazy numbers, and this is only from one single bullet. Do I have to remind you that Vulcan shoots at over a 1500 RPM(faster than even the fastest submachine guns)? It literally melts people in instants, and In DM it is even more insane. You start shooting at a chokepoint, and you just watch your name light up on the killfeed. It's insane. Plus, literally 5% of people actually bother to put on the protection for this turret, making it perfect for any game mode possible. Centaur is my favorite kit in the game of all time. In fact, I'm writing an article for the Newspaper about it right now, but the sheer speed at which you can play with this kit is neck-breaking. Put on Light Capacitors and you'll be like FaZe going off on some poor noobs. Shaft M3 is already a very powerful weapon in itself, allowing for one-hit kills of medium hulls in just a few upgrades from M3, which is very good for the F2P player. Hornet M3 is yet another beast - its M2 version is seen everywhere in the M2 ranks because it is cheap but weak. While Hornet M2 was all about crazy drifting, the M3 version is much better at lettng you control it. 360-degree shots are very easy to pull off because of the sheer turning speed of Hornet. The Eagle M3 module is also such a great module, which is included in the kit itself. Plus, since the kit is so cheap, you'll definitely get a lot of bang for your buck. Your question, is, however, whether to get Fire, Smoky, Twins, Magnum, and Gauss. Let's give some honest opinions here: Magnum: The scum of the earth. Every battle there is someone who camps at the back of the map shooting howitzers into the sky and actually getting kills even though they aren't doing anything for the team. When I force a Magnum to self-destruct thanks to their projectiles, I always say "You deserve that ten times over". What were the devs thinking when they buffed this monstrosity? Gauss: Semi-auto version of Shaft. I've been waiting a long time for a marksman rifle to appear in Tanki. I'm glad to say it was worth the wait, because Gauss is amazing. The reload is on par if not better with Sledgehammer Thunders, and the sniping mode brings insanity, okay? Triples all day with that thing. Do I have to mention that literally no one has Owl modules more than 25%? It's almost sad in a way that you get to abuse this, but at least I'm glad to have bought the module myself :D Firebird: Nightmare of any DM player out there. Now crank it up a notch with the Compact Fuel Tanks and you've got your tank on a cocaine binge. It's no wonder why this alteration is so popular: once you heat up a tank that can't use a Repair Kit, you can just go along your way to your next victim. It's really that easy. Twins: It's a well known fact that Twins users are very good at the use of bricks. Unless you want this tradition to spread to you, I would stear clear of this turret. Smoky: It's always been the beast hiding in the shadows. The damage per second that Smoky pulls off is already powerful even without the critical hits, but land them as well and you've got trouble in a package coming straight for the enemy. So, if I had to choose between any of those turrets, it would be either Gauss or Firebird. I have expressed why I hate Magnum and Twins, and even though Smoky is good, it's not as powerful as the other two. You said you wanted Prometheus, and I see no reason why you shouldn't get it. Unless you want to blow up Chernobyl, in which case look no further than the monstrosity of Gauss.

No. Absolutely no. People will be launching tubes across the map for all game.

It is and always will be. Gauss users always expect no resistance modules, so when you don't get oneshotted by the beam, they're soiling their pants.

I was lucky enough to have crystals at the birthday celebrations. I already knew this turret was going to be OP, so I decided to get the M3 module. Boy oh boy was that the right choice.

Am I the only one here who has an Owl M3+ module? Everywhere I go, there are no Owls whatsoever.
