Hunter is ugly? Ha, look at Viking M2. You call this a killing machine? I say it looks more like a toy. Having less than 50% of the tank covered with metal plates really makes it look like M1. Its XT looks trash too. Don't try to bring in the overdrive argument, too, because all it takes is my faster-charging EMP to annihilate you multiple times. And I'd much rather die than admit Viking is better. Short-bands lately provide even better value. Thanks to the RFM nerf, they're now more viable to secure those kills. And don't be that cheap guy who uses the Viking OD. Please. Higher weight = more stability = what you need for these turrets. The math doesn't lie.

i thought it was just a fire rate increase

We posted at the same time :D

Centaur all the way. Then buy Redneck. This is easily enough. You don't need Rapid-Fire Mode for now as it's been nerfed a bit, so I would advise waiting a bit before buying it as they might buff it back. Plasma-torch isn't that good. Minus-Field Stabilization and Unstable Plasma are way better. Compact tanks is great, but Incendiary Mix is godly. You can plow through entire enemy teams and the fuel consumption rate is really efficient. You'll still be emptying your tank when an Isida and a Freeze have run out. Don't buy Striker. I and many other people will hate you for it.
-
Definitely if you're playing for the red team and the overdrive box is dropping. Catch that and you've got two bombs dropping in the space of ten seconds.
-
Magnum isn't really viable anymore - I would go for Rico. It's a powerhouse, and MFS has literally no disadvantage. As for Hunter... get that to M2, eh? "Juggler" is what you should be aiming for. I'm not even mad about Round Destabilization anymore - it got nerfed so hard that I actually laugh at anyone who chooses to use it. Unless you want to hardcore camp, what is the point of Support Nanobots? You'd be better off with Freeze. I remember a lot of elements in chem, but when it comes to biology, I forget everything... that's my problem with it.
-
Too right, mate. Biology is what makes me lose my ****.
-
I third that.

It's already available at your rank in the Shop. : Thanks. 100 isn't much if you spam the Shaft topic

This is one of the greatest video gaming betrayals in history, and I'd seriously like it if people knew about this more. Although this is COD MW2, I'd like this to be posted here as I don't see any conflicts with the rules. I hope you enjoy; I put quite a bit of work into this and I hope you guys like it. “Loose Ends” Day 6 - 15:59:01 Cpt. Simon “Ghost” Riley Task Force 141 Georgian-Russian Border “Roach, the transfer’s complete! I’ll cover the main approach while you get the DSM! Move!” I yell into my mic. Then another voice comes in. “This is Shepherd. We’re almost at the LZ. What’s your status, over?” “We’re on our way to the LZ. Roach, let’s go!” I reply. Roach jumps out of the bulding, and I trail behind him closely. I provide suppressing fire to cover Roach as the Russians try to ambush us. We keep running through the forest, surrounded by the Russians. They’re everywhere now, and I struggle to keep track of where they’re coming from. Then I hear something even worse. Mortar fire. “They’re bracketing our position with mortar fire, keep moving but watch your back!” I scream. Roach hears and moves off to the side. Although I have a sight line to him, I’m too far to help him if something goes wrong. Roach knifes a Russian soldier on the ground and takes his TAR-21. He’s slowed down significantly, though. “We gotta get to the LZ! Roach, come on!” I shout. Roach goes out into the open again and starts shooting. He might have the skill, but there’s too many of them for him. Realizing that he doesn’t have time to reload, he whips out his UMP and starts sprinting towards the LZ. Overhead, a Pave Low starts to land. We make it to the open field, but as soon as I sigh with relief, Roach is hit by mortar shell. “ROACH!” I scream. I drop my M9 and stow away my ACR, running at full speed toward Roach. He's blacked out. I grip his shoulders and shake him. To my relief, he wakes up. “I’ve got you Roach, hang on!” I shout. I throw a smoke grenade and yell “Thunder Two-One, I’ve popped red smoke in the treeline! Standby to engage on my mark!” As I scream this, I prop Roach up into a sitting position, pick up an AK-47 from the ground, give it to him, and then start pulling him towards the Pave Low. Roach cocks the AK back and starts shooting as more Russians emerge from the forest. Once he runs out of ammo, he doesn’t reload but switches to his grenade launcher. He fires it once, twice, but they keep on coming. I scream, “Thunder Two-One, cleared hot!” The Little Bird pilot replies, “Roger that. Cleared hot.” The miniguns spool up and the Russians are gunned down in waves. “Roach, hang in there!” I shout. He blacks out again. “Come on, get up!” I shout. I pull him up, and he wakes up again. “Get up! Get up! We’re almost there!” I take his arm and put it around me so I can drag him to the Pave Low. We start walking towards the Pave Low and the door of the Pave Low opens. Shepherd is standing by at the exit of the Pave Low, waiting for us. “Do you have the DSM?” Shepherd asks. “We got it, sir!” I reply. He walks up to us and says “Good. That’s one less loose end.” And then he shoots Roach. “NO!” I scream. Roach falls to the ground and I whip out my ACR, with my finger on the trig- “Loose Ends” Day 6 - 15:59:01 Sgt. Gary “Roach” Sanderson Task Force 141 Georgian-Russian Border I thought the road would never end. Ghost comes into my ears. “Roach, the transfer’s complete! I’ll cover the main approach while you get the DSM! Move!” Then I hear Shepherd. “This is Shepherd. We’re almost at the LZ. What’s your status, over?” “We’re on our way,” Ghost replies. “Roach, let’s go!” I jump out of the building. UMP in hand, I run toward the treeline. Ghost lays suppressing fire so I don’t get ambushed by the Russians. We keep running through the forest, with the Russians everywhere now. Then I hear the hisses of mortar fire. “Roach, they’re bracketing our position with mortar fire,” Ghost shouts. “Keep moving but watch your back!” I hear him and move off to the side. I knife a Russian on the ground and take his TAR-21 with an ACOG. Ghost sounds more irritated now. “We gotta get to the LZ! Roach, come on!” I go out into the open and start shooting at everyone in sight. My mag runs out and I realize that there’s no time to reload, so I just make a run for it. I slide down the hill and run toward the open field, where a Pave Low is starting its desce- I feel someone pulling me. I open my eyes and see that it’s Ghost. “I’ve got you Roach, hang on!” He throws a smoke grenade into the treeline, where Russians are coming by the hundreds, and starts pulling me toward the Pave Low. Eventually, red smoke starts billowing. Mortar shells are hitting everywhere and my ears are ringing. “Thunder Two-One, I’ve popped red smoke in the treeline! Standby to engage on my mark!” Ghost hands me an AK-47 Grenadier. “Thunder Two-One, cleared hot!” he shouts. “Roger that, cleared hot.” The Little Bird pilot replies. The Little Bird’s minigun spools up and starts taking down the Russians. I bring the AK up and fire the grenade launcher. Eject the case and then put the new tube in. Repeat. “Roach, hang in there!” Ghost shouts. My vision is blurring but I repeat again. And again. I hiss to relieve the pain a bit and keep breathing with raggedy breaths. And again… I regain conciousness again when Ghost pulls me up. “Come on, get up! Get up! Get up! We’re almost there!” He puts my arm around his shoulder and starts dragging me toward the Pave Low. We start walking toward the Pave Low, where its door is starting to open. I can see Shepherd leaning on the walls of the Pave Low, waiting for us. “Do you have the DSM?” Shepherd asks, moving toward us. “We got it, sir!” Ghost replies. “Good,” Shepherd replies. “That’s one less loose end.” I feel the punch and the sound of a .44 bullet hit my chest. I am knocked back and fall to the ground. “NO!” Ghost screams and turns toward Shepherd. Shepherd fires again and kills Ghost instantly. Shepherd moves towards me and takes the DSM. He signals for his men to takes us away. My vision blurs as they pick up my body. I regain consiouscness just as they throw me into a pit. I roll and turn my head around towards them. It’s the only thing I can do now. They throw Ghost into the pit too. His blood-soaked chest shows where the bullet hit. His body rolls toward me and I hear Price in our radio. “Ghost, come in! This is Price! We’re under attack by Shepherd’s men in the boneyard! Soap, hold the left flank!” I look and see that Shepherd’s men are pouring kerosene on us. Shepherd is looking at us, cigar in mouth. “Do not trust Shepherd! I say again, do not trust Shepherd! Soap, get down!” Shepherd walks toward us and takes one last puff of his cigar. Knowing what’s about to happen, a tear rolls down my eye, but nobody else can see it… Everything slows down as Shepherd flicks his cigar towards us. I see flames build, and Shepherd turns his back and starts walking away from us. He signals his men to move out with the Pave Low flying away overhead. My vision fades as I lose consciousness for the last time. All that’s left is black… Black... ... .

I thought you were a Shaft-Hornet main... Hornet absolutely demolishes if you camp and pick people off with OD. You're right, RFM is overruled by the OD. I remember this from the Test Server. It's better to use Assault Emitters as it gives more damage and no fire rate penalty, too. I like Wasp more than Hornet with Railgun because it's more maneuverable and stable than Hornet. Your choice, though.
-
I have to thank you that you came here instead of buying straight away. Ask me or and we will say that Chiropractor is the best. Hands down. Shaft is the best. With Hunter and Short-bands, you will destroy. Don't pass this opportunity up. Trust us.
-
Alright, honest opinion? Centaur. Low cost, high effectiveness, and demolishes with Light Capacitors and Short-bands. The nerf to the RFM is pretty noticeable, so don't use it for now. After that, get Hunter M3 and you're good.
-
Seems like my hunch was off. -_-
-
The only way Viking OD can kill people in the dome is with max Booster. Tested this myself.
-
Already OP as is.

Exactly what I feel. No better words to describe this. I agree with almost every one of them, except spawn camping. Spawn camping is a show of skill. I used to spawn trap entire teams by myself because of skill. It's a different matter if I'm using Mammoth-Vulcan, but try doing this with a Shaft-Hunter with Short-bands. Nope, the correct definition of an exploiter (at least in my eyes) is people who use only the OP things and don't ever challenge themselves to become better. MW2 had noob tubes, CR has Witch, Wizard, Valkyrie, TO has Thunder, Striker, and Hammer. This is present in any game. You won't become better just by using the stupidly OP stuff. You're just wasting your own time. Spawn-trapping doesn't take the whole entire team. Just the unbreakable will of a single man. If you can't, then don't try to undermine people who can. Please. Do you understand how good Hornet's OD is? Maybe you don't use Shaft, but I do. You are guaranteed a one-shot kill every time with DD, and the recharge rate is great. Making this a team ability shows that you really do care about people other than yourself. If you bought the wrong equipment, bad luck for you. Don't come crying here to complain and ruin my day, too. If you have skill, then use it. You are a Commander. You can do it. I play Tanki to get away from my tense life. It doesn't mean I have no friends. It doesn't mean that I am rich, either. I come from a poor country and I have had to fight for pretty much all my life. And please use full stops in your sentences. Run-on sentences are my worst enemy. That's it for me.

That's why it's good. If you get Shaft M3 with microupgrades at WO5, you can easily survive until Marshal with just Shaft. Even until my rank, people still use medium M2 hulls, and if you see someone with a medium hull without protection against you, you will always be guaranteed the kill with that sweet red 2647. You're right, people really tend to underestimate this kit. I myself only realized the true power at Major; I wasted a lot of time using Hornet-Railgun. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a bad XP player. But when it comes to PRO battles, they were actually so boring. MM battles provide much more diverse gameplay, and XP is frankly trash. That's why I grew out of it. I'm just glad I found my true calling. Short-bands are a great way of learning how to choose the correct moments for sniping and are the perfect stepping stone to Rapid-fire mode. And you know why they're great? Because they will always grant you a kill with Hunter. Allow me to explain. Anyone, no matter how dangerous they can be, even with a stack of full supplies, will not walk out of your EMP alive. Having a guaranteed 1500 damage per arcade shot and a 2 second reload will give you the kill regardless of the condition. Don't forget that the EMP effect also disables their supplies completely for quite a while, so they really won't have a chance. Everyone has the spirit of a sniper inside them. Although I didn't really give a choice when it came to kits, I knew that he would come to love it. When I first met him, he too was wondering on Tornado. I gave him something better. How quickly people forget that all it takes to become the next top Shaft player is the will of a single man.

First off, buy Stable Plasma. You'll kill yourself easily in CQC situations even if you have Twins protection. SP has no drawback. Second, you can't wait for a kit. You already have all of the M3 kits available. If you mean to save up for a kit, then I would recommend Centaur. You have Hornet M2 but not M3, and I reckon it's about time you give Shaft some Trust me, you'll need good protection against Shaft, as its usage rate is pretty high as of right now. Plus, the paint isn't half bad, either. It's also one of the cheapest M3 kits out there, so you'll definitely be getting a lot of bang for your buck. Hope my reply was fast enough. Tidebreaker out.

Frozen, I haven't had time to test this yet, but have you tested if Hornet's OD can deal regular damage to Mammoth and Titan while they're using their own OD? It seems like it should.... First of all, congo on your rankup! I forgot to do this earlier... (now we can at least play in a squad) Hunter-Railguns with Destabilization are a bunch of buyers who really don't have skill. The damage scatter seems like it always gives >1500 damage without DD. Really, the only solution I have against this is to become more aggressive than them. Two more ranks and you can get RFM, but for now just use your own Hunter's OD and lay waste to them. It seems like Railguns are now much more of campers than Shaft players... Use that to your own benefit. Short-band Emitters will help you confirm the kills when you've successfully EMP'd that Railgun. The reason why I consider this is better is because MU'd Hunter M3's will have 2647 HP, which can take up to 3 shots to kill, compared to Short-band's 2 shots. Once again, your choice.
-
Making the font easier to read. You, sir, have made a huge mistake. Why didn't you follow our advice? Besides, if you use "Round Destabilization", I will personally target you only if I ever come across you in a battle. I hate people who use it with all my heart and believe that they are the scum of the earth the most annoying matchup ever. Please consider something better next time.
-
You know what? The Rapid-fire mode guy is probably better than you in all aspects of Tanki, so don't come crying in here asking for a nerf. I've had enough of people who only use Sledgehammer and Uranium, so go away, camper. Many hate people like you, myself included, so unless you have a reason why you're using the turret that requires the least skill in the game, please don't complain.
-
Still waiting for an answer on a Hunter kit.
-
Here’s the thing about Striker. I believe it is brokenly overpowered, especially with Uranium, so I would feel ashamed if I were to buy it. Why, you ask? Because everyone uses it to get the Juggernaut, and I hate that. Please understand. I would feel bad just using Striker M3, so I’ll have to pass. Any other suggestions?
