You were probably lucky that you entered a battle after a crash/huge lag where all players got removed/left from the battle and the battle fund just stayed. You guys were the first to reenter and you hit the jackpot. Now at least a Tanker got the fund, though really bad for the players who actually fought for it. :(

Good question. Maybe batteries (one large battery): Shaft has charged shots, as does Railgun Because both turrets have no ammo on the picture I guess TX doesn 't give these two long-range sniper turrets ejecting shells/batteries at all. Same counts for the short-range Freeze, Firebird and Isida.

Agreed, for low- to medium rankers it can be very good. For high rankers with a decent paint not so much. Double funds, maybe... btw. you got a tyre leak?

A big personal thanks to Tanki for the growing number of overpowered Vulcans M3/M4 's that are ruining so many battles at high ranks! Because of them I have stopped playing Smoky till the next Balance, and instead I 'm now finally focussing on XP/BP battles. Which I may never have down otherwise, because I like and still prefer playing with Smoky the most. Loving the balanced and mostly fair gameplay in XP/BP though and now looking forward to playing BP, if I have the crystals gathered to get a Wasp M3. It 's a bit stronger than the XP combo I 'm using now. Since flipping has become a rarity BP has imo become king. Again thanks to TO for the Vulcan and all the nubs that want to play with such a dull weapon! :P

The Premium paint is ridiculously OP at lower ranks, at higher ranks it 's moderate. If Tanki cared about game balance, which they don 't, they made the Premium paint "rank up" in a similar way like the Eternity paint: http://en.tankiwiki.com/Eternity#Protection. Tanki obviously needs buyers and how to attract them? Give them an unfair advantage: newbies who have 15% against all turrets, that will teach those non-buyers... <_<

There were more Mommas in those prehistoric Tanki days who were all gathering crates. In those ancient days there were also flying Tanks. They weren 't hacking though: they could just fly. When the blue crates stopped falling from the skies, most of those flying Momma 's instinctively went to higher grounds because those blue crates once fell from the sky... The Momma who in despair flew on top of Rio 's tower also waited in vain for the crates to return. Meanwhile her two daughters kept screaming and crying for weeks, trying to get her to come down on solid ground again. She never did. Sometimes during a battle in Rio when the weapons are silent for just one short moment...you can still hear her daughters sad cries...

No, it will remain for some time. At least this year imo. How much longer? No clue My guestimate is that Tanki will keep TO open at least till the moment when TX has enough players and a stable economy. From that moment it will be in their own interest to lock TO down as soon as possible. So they might turn down support for TO and/or give the remaining TO players a great incentive to switch to TX. We 'll see...

RU1 is constanly freezing up. You can still move and shoot, but you don 't do any damage and all the other tank are standing still, some with rotating turrets. Has Tanki decided to give unlimited access to it or something like that? Normally I have to log in several times to be able to play at RU1. Someone leaves I guess and the first one that next wants to enter gets access. Now you can just log on and always get immediate access. Strange.

RU1 is a mess too today. It even had a restart some hours ago. Still it remains laggy and has "locked up" a few times. (you can still move and shoot, but without doing damage, while all other Tanks or completely frozen with often rotating turrets)

As mentioned in the posts above the hitlist is questionable. Maybe you should have left it out? Too many variables, especially Map size, to suffice with such a short paragraph in a further excellent article. Playing DM should indeed be in every Tankers to-do-list. It 's the gamemode that simply doesn 't allow for being "lazy": in DM you have to improve your own gameplay or suffer the consequences. DM is merciless, the main reason why many Tankers dislike it... Many Tankers prefer CTF and CTF is often indeed the most thrilling gamemode Tanki has to offer. You can improve in CTF by playing CTF ofcourse, but it 's my firm believe that with lessons learned in DM, Tankers will improve much faster. They will soon become better CTF players than those who just stick with CTF all the time. And when at times you get fed up with nooby teammates, mults etc. you will always have an alternative gamemode that frees you from almost all of that... ;) Don 't take my word for it: just read the article above!

The "Era of Flipping" is over which were the Dark Ages of Wasp. Hornet ruled in those days. Now with the surplus of speed, superb braking qualities, smaller hitbox afaik, tight turning and the ability to shoot even more versatile... BP p.s. and besides because Wasps rocks more (when shooting) I often get fooled in believing that it has already been shot once, thus wasting my shot on a full-health Wasp...or is it just me?

Though I often dislike your articles/opinion about the game itself...have to give you credits for this story. Short, but contains all that a good story should have. The rusty tank of Desert beautifully fitted in it to it. A+
