Twins doesn 't have Vulcan 's range, which makes it a lot less effective in medium to long distances: no way you can compare these two. In many cases the time it needs to kill a Mammoth-Twins, is equal to a Mammoth-Vulcan burning up. Who do you think dealt the most damage? :rolleyes: And Vulcan is a logical target. A turret that can deal that much damage to a team needs to be taken out as soon as possible. Great irony! :D

I used the word "stylish" which not being English was probably not the right choice. Rail XT is artistique? You don 't see right away what it represents. Just lines that more vaguely make up an eagle/bird of prey. The Thunder and Firebird are obvious. IMO too obvious and also not in line with the more plain design that was choosen for the XT hulls. (you could argue that the wings on Hornet are too obvious to, but they just seem to fit allright, they remind me on ancient Egyptean Horus wings) So I would have liked them to continue in the Rail XT kind of turret styling. The hull styling looks (to be) better, Wasp XT not so much IMO, but the Viking XT is a beauty! Ofcourse it 's all just a matter of personal taste, the Dev(s) choose otherwise and that 's all there is to it.

Like the looks of Hornet XT and Rail XT and both can be used without MU 's in XP. Viking XT nice design. Wasp XT is overdone. Too much goldplating on the sides in my view. I prefer the looks a standard Wasp M3. The other turrets are too "Pokemon" indeed: Rail XT is stylish, these new ones aren 't.

About the two advantages: 1. Correct: and that 's what Vulcans are build for. 2. Partly correct: I guess that in your ranks a Vulcan M2 maybe doesn 't have the same overpoweredness like it does when Vulcan becomes M3/4. And I can live with the surpressing fire as long as there is a fair chance to fight back. In higher ranks as you can read in posts above this isn 't the case. One of those combo 's is mayhem, two of them and the opposing team soon starts leaving. Shaft had a dominating period like this which finished with the laser-scope and Vulcan will also receive an adaption or an effective nerf.

To give you another answer: a lot of Tankers don 't like to play with Vulcan. Personally I don 't care if they will make it even more OP, I still won 't play with it. Used it several times on test-server and I don 't like the spin-up and spin-down time and I don 't like how it makes whatever combo you are using a slow turning turtle when firing. And if you don 't know what advantages it has over other turrets as a Vulcan player yourself? Than indeed this is a bad turret for you, better switch to something else.

True that in regular battles. Most Rail-players needing repairkit after repairkit to be able to compete.

Unity physics look good, I like the way the Viking/Twins climbs the slope/ramp, and the way it shakes like it would in real life: at 4:50 and even better seen at 5:10 The interaction with the geometry will also be more real, so for example no more floating above roofs during parkour: Your tank will be following shapes way more directly in TO Unity And no more (less) invisible obstacles on the edges of props, so you will be able to drive your tank more naturally and closer to props without the risk of getting stuck.
