Like in normal daily life: most people will do good, but there are always a few exceptions. And even good people sometimes make mistakes. So I have no reason at all to distrust TO staff. If you look carefully you can always find a few bad examples, but that 's never a good reason to distrust the TO staff or in a bigger picture: humanity.

Whatever it was, I would like to ask one of the Admins, if possible if moderating this Sunday in their opinion went well? Personally I believe it went wrong on both sides: players crossed lines but Moderators also started to use the "sledgehammer". In regard to my questions I would like to focus on the moderating. This Sunday many posts were removed. Even older posts from that I am 100% sure were totally on topic and were not filled with the "mountain dew video" or instead breaking any game rules. They had critisism on the update, that 's all. When I saw some of my posts removed I reacted on that, only to see those posts removed as well. The latter were indeed not on topic, but you get upset when your posts just vanish... They are hidden not removed if I 'm not mistaken, so look at them and see if I 'm right or wrong. Can I prove anything? No, because I don 't have that power, the power is completely in the hands of the Staff. I never had a problem with that, I always felt that Tanki gave plenty of space to give critisism. And Mods etc. were overall doing a good job. (and like many other Tankers I post(ed) negative but also many TO positive posts) Did Tanki change their policy towards the Forum regarding critisism? The downvote was removed, instead now you always have to post if you don 't agree with certain updates etc. Ok, I strongly preferred the downvote button, ofc it has flaws, but it 's still an indicator. A lot of downvotes even without the many "downvote followers" who don 't even have a clue why they downvote... is still in the end a majority of downvotes. Well, downvote is gone, so now you have to post instead. But what if those posts got removed at least this Sunday, and you don 't have a clue why, because the exact same kind of posts were never a problem when downvotes were still in place. To end a long story: is it TO 's intention to "moderate" the Forum in a placed filled with solely flowers and butterflies by removing posts that are negative about the Game or was what happened Sunday a single event that both parties would rather not see repeated?

De Premium account op zich is niet het probleem. het is inderdaad de paint. Ik had een eenvoudig voorstel om met percentages te gaan werken. 10% voor lage rangen, 14% voor middel rangen en 18% voor de hoogste rangen. Volgens Hazel was dat te moeilijk met programmeren, waar ik niet veel van geloof. Maak dan drie aparte paints met deze percentages: nee, dat ging hem volgens hem ook niet worden... Iedereen met een beetje verstand begrijpt wat er gebeurd als je Sergeants met een 20% paint in battles gaat tegenkomen. Die Premium gasten zijn OP als de pest. En die gaan heel wat startende en middelrang spelers wegjagen van dit spel, let maar op. In andere posts heb ik al eens eerder gezegd dat ze TO Flash gaan laten vallen en ze proberen er nu zoveel mogelijk geld uit te halen. Zie alle "buy" updates. Niet uit hebzucht denk ik trouwens, maar ze hebben het waarschijnlijk hard nodig. TO Unity ontwikkelen is duur en gaat nog wel even duren...

Is ie ook! :D Hier kreeg ie die ban niet voor hoor denk ik, maar dat verhaal laat ik aan hemzelf over... Normaal post ik hier niet, maar ik ben best droevig over wat er op het forum gebeurd. En dan vooral in News and Announcements waar veel kritiek op de nieuwe Premium account is. Posts worden bij bosjes verwijderd en alles lijkt erop gericht om maar een zo positief mogelijke indruk te maken. Het gaat zover dat ik er geen zin meer in heb en dit geplaatst heb: Tanki en hun beleid daar snap ik vaak weinig van, maar zoals het nu gaat echt helemaal niks.

For me it 's the saddest day on this Forum since I joined it. Critism on updates is no longer appreciated. Posts get removed randomly. Why even participate in a censored discussion on updates? I 'm out and will not be a part of them again. The "be positive" message is clear TO. You win. Congratz.

Yeah...but you very conveniently forget to mention the fact that these Premium paint will be available at low ranks. And I can almost assure that Sergeants and other low ranks will win 80% of the battles. Not for several reasons, but because they own this OP Premium Paint. But what do you care, you already ended all discussion with: "Premium accounts will not be mandatory and those users willing to spend the moneys they own have the right to do so and receive something more in Exchange."

It is a good solution. Well, at least I tried: again to no avail (as I expected already) TO hardly ever changes already planned paths: been in this game long enough to know.

Do you really want to scare away other Tankers (read potential buyers) who will have face this OP Premiums? 20% should better be untouched too, this should stay the exclusive domain of Tankers who deserve it IMO: not the ones who can simply buy it. Or else still make the Premium 20% at High ranks (in that case Low ranks: 12% and Medium ranks: 16%) and also improve all other Special Paints with 2%: Helper will become 20% as well and Veteran 22%. There is no doubt in my mind that this makes much more sense if you still care a little bit about game balance. As TO 's is planning to do it now it will be gamebreaking at a small scale from day one, but it will be gamebreaking: it only takes one guy with a Premium Paint to quite easily take that flag. And I 'm sure if something like the idea I described above gets implemented there are still huge numbers (if not the same) that will be getting in line for a Premium account.

Yes, I have both. Thunder at M4 in damage and reload, Smoky M3 and still far from any M4. Still I use Smoky almost all the time and certainly in a 1 vs 1 the Thunder mostly looses. When using Thunder myself I mostly loose against Smoky 's too, so while I don 't believe that 's scientific proof at all: it does say something. Smoky with it 's fast reload and especially on DP is very strong. Gameplay is somewhat similar to Thunder but with the emphasis on using impact force to make the enemy miss and IMO with an inherent faster gameplay.

Yep, instead of close to 1000 downvotes, they now have around 60-70 like/upvotes. And a few of those upvotes are not really upvotes, or to soon given if you read the post of that upvoting player in the topic... So why not remove the like/upvote button as well, as it has become meaningless?

Well done! Totally focussing on few equipment and even less paints. You 've even done it without drugging which is impressive, even though I for once agree with that is not always a good thing to do especially in CTF. Really hope you also liked the path to Generalissimo. I guess you did. Kind of hurts me though how you just threw away the greatest turret of all Smoky...even worse you wear that paint that even haunts me in my nightmares.... ;) ...but I also saw that Thunder M3 in your garage: which means there 's still hope for you! :P More serious: are you planning to play with other weapons, hulls? And which hull you prefer now: Viking or Hunter?

Agree with your view: but afaik this is not the path TO will choose. Instead they seem to be planning to make buyers even more stronger than they are already today. That Premium paint will just ruin any balance left in the battles, and will be devastating at low- to medium ranks.
