Many players want to have special parkour maps in the game, but they didn't think of one thing: the map makers of tanki don't know that much about parkour. I know some players make parkour maps for fun, and I think it's a good idea to show the map artists what players want to have in parkour maps. It doesn't mean they will make a special parkour map based on the maps and info posted in this topic, but what if they will add some of the best elements of parkour maps to normal maps? If a map is good both for fighting and for parkour, we can play it in parkour mode and enjoy it a lot without having every single part of the map dedicated to parkour. How to make tanki maps? There are two tools that can help you with that: Alternativa Editor - the program for making the actual map Tanks Testing Tool (TTT) - A program that allows you to explore this map with a tank and in spectator view. The physics are different so you can't really test the parkour using TTT, but you definitely can have some fun fooling around with the physics, overrated speed... Rio is my favorite cause I always find a new trick that is possible only there (or almost only). It's also a big map that includes different places where different parkour styles and tricks are possible. This is one of the only maps where the Travelling parkour style is very fun and easy for two players. Dusseldorf is also a great map for Travelling, but don't really like this map because it's just a flat ground with houses, not a lot to do there.

True, but the trick itself doesn't stand out anyway lol. Till now nobody even thought of adding it to the Parkour Dictionary.

Your tank does get pushed up because when a tank explodes it also moves up by itself, and this movement causes you to move up too. But if you stand right next to an exploding tank you'll see that there is absolutely no impact force pushing you to the side away from the exploding tank.

Hey, Delnina wanted me to add a trick to the Parkour Dictionary but it has no name so I want to find a name for it before I add it. The trick is: The front of a Wasp (or simetimes other tank) gets shot by one or more snipers that usually use Shaft, and sometimes use Railgun or Hammer. This makes the Wasp fly up and land on a taller object behind him after making a backflip. Usually it is used to jump up on objects between 1 and 2.5 props height. What do you think about the name "Back Fire Jump" for this trick? I thought of this name because it is similar to Fire Jump but instead of shooting under the tank to make him go forward over a gap between objects it makes the tank go back and higher to jump on a little higher object behind him. The only differences in the performance of these tricks is that the tank that gets shot doesn't drive forward while performing the trick, and that the players who shoot him are not right under the tank but in front of him (and lower of course). Do you like this name? Do you have suggestions for better names? Please vote up this reply if you like the name I suggested, and if you don't like it please vote it down.

I didn't understand what map are you talking about but I understand the trick. This trick is called Fire Jump and it can be done almost in any place with cliffs, and with the help of another tank to hold the shooters it can be done even with normal walls. Try adding a mine on the edge for the wasp, you'll jump higher ;)

I wonder what will happen if there will be a rule for it... Players will start conquering maps and commentating their videos and will expect to get pinned for it. I imagine how these videos will look in most parkour clubs... idk... IMO if there is a rule for it it should be something more than what you mentioned here.
