this Vargas guy is pretty good. I dont like Mexico so this is a pretty good game. This is the first time Mexico gave up 7 goals since 1928(7-1 loss to Spain)

shocker, Venezuela wins .... jk USA will need to play perfect to beat Argentina and they will have to play bad
-
i dont think the tax thing had anything to do with it. it was he hurt his back in a friendly before copa. they were using him sparingly to be careful because its not like they needed him to win the group games.
-
they have rested him cause they dont need him

Messi hasnt played much so far. Hopefully that continues and by the time he comes in the game, its too late. A bit of wishful thinking though

it would be nice if Jones and Wood could learn how to stay calm and not commit dumb fouls So Jones, Woods, and Bedoya will be suspended for the semifinal match, but we get Yedlin back now. hopefully Venezuela comes up huge and shocks Argentina. Argentina does have a history of coming up short.

Chile takes care of business and beats a good Panama team. That means Argentina and Chile will be advancing
-
That has nothing to do with Copa America. Stay on topic.

panama is making a comeback

no there is a small difference. When you say thinking, it implies more certainty. I can correct you. Im just waiting because you always post 3 things at a time instead of putting all of your thoughts in one post Is the US the best in the world? Well not at soccer yet but overall yes it is, but thats not the topic so talk about the Copa America or stop posting here. Im sure everybody who is trying to have intelligent conversations, like myself, are tired of your petty arguments. If you wish to continue this pointless debate, this page is not the place. If you wish me to continually correct you, pm me. This topic is for the Copa America, not this one sided debate

happy flag day

No handegg is not a sport. And, as I said, I know a fair amount about soccer. I know enough to know that soccer isnt an incorrect term. The British are the ones who started calling it Soccer, not us yanks. See, heres a link. I know its doubtful youll bother to read it cause then you might learn something. again, you have criticized my English, but at least I know basic vocabulary. I didnt say the US would win, I said I believe we will win. There is a difference. now once again, would you stay on topic. The topic is the Copa America, not your misconceptions. As much as I love correcting you, this is not the place for it. If you wish to be proven wrong repeatedly, just pm me.

first off, i know alot about football. Football is my favorite sport, but this topic isnt about football, its about soccer, so stay on topic. Secondly, just because im not an expert on soccer, doesnt mean i dont know anything. I know a fair amount. Im not a soccer fan and i find many aspects annoying. That being said i support my country in all sports and know alot about the US national team. Third, i didnt say i think USA will win, i said "go usa" and then you interpret that as me saying "USA wins everything". Im aware the US sucked at soccer until the late 90s. But the past has no effect on the outcome of these games. The best team doesnt always win. We dont have to be better then Ecuador to win, we just have to better for 1 night. Do I think the US can win? yes. Are we the Favorites to win? no thats Argentina. Does that mean I dont believe we will win? no In conclusion, I want the US to win. If we lose, ok fine whatever. Weve already surpassed expectations this tournament. Your just upset Brazil lost. It must make you really upset that yall cant even get out of the group stage of a South American tournament when North American teams did
