Yup, a buff as I expected, but may I ask, is it impossible to have something balanced nowadays? It was really weak when it was first released, but now it's on a whole new level of annoyance.

Tweaks to the balance of Overdrives and Gauss, and more

It recharges much faster now, and gives a better speed boost. If anything, I'd consider this a buff to its overdrive, since there aren't many occasions where you'd need all the 10 seconds. An example being in deathmatch, when you end up killing only one enemy before all the others scatter away, so yea. The players who will be hit hard by this update are the lazy ones who use its overdrive for easy caps in CTF/Assault and for taking golds. -
There is no in-game screenshot feature as far as I know, but you can download tools from the web and use them to take your screenshots.

Tried using some websites to calculate it. Sadly I couldn't use all the data points in the range because their number exceeded 1000, so I had to reduce the sample size by nerfing the max. damage a little bit (to 2055). The results I got are listed below: The probability of getting exactly 1060 is 0.042021 The probability of getting exactly 2055 is 0.041710 Not sure if this is accurate, but it should give a picture how low of a chance it is to get to the boundaries of the range. If you wanna try this go ahead, I think you need the standard deviation and the mean value of the range.

Well to be fair, I don't get that very often, which is why I "demand" more players to sit back and relax. Like what you've said before, these maps are basically becoming mosh pits, where your survival depends on how lucky you get with the spawn points.

They shouldn't be able to ban you for no reason at all, just because of some "connections". If so, they'd be hurting the reputation of tanki, and will likely receive backlash and have their positions taken from them.

I've seen it happen a couple of times before, but not frequently. It mainly depends on how upgraded their hull is. If it's a stock m3 there's a good chance one of the shots will have enough damage to take it down.

What's even better than joining a DM battle and finding an immobile tank right in front of you, is finding two! I need more of these guys to chill and go afk, they'd make the matchmaking experience more enjoyable for ̶l̶̶a̶̶z̶̶y̶ players like me.

Absolutely not in favor of this. Hornet's overdrive is easily one of the more threatening ODs in the battlefield, and it's already caused a lot more damage than Wasp's avoidable bomb.

(757-1516) +40% = (1060-2122) Average number of hit points with DD? Not sure, but I'm capable of one-shooting unprotected medium hulls like 60-70% of the time.

Been using it for almost a year now. The damage is incredibly good, but the reload time is fairly depressing to be honest, it leaves no room for error. You either hit a target or die.

Yes, I've literally done all of those, and none gave me a permanent solution. I tried disabling some windows services, which not-so-surprisingly resulted in a noticeable improvement in performance, but on the other hand, it also caused me to accidentally disable some features on the laptop like audio and internet connection, so I had to undo everything and stop meddling with the services tab since I'm no computer expert here.

Update: The laptop itself was most likely the problem. I'm gonna have to find a way to get rid of that disk space usage thing. Guess this topic isn't necessary anymore, so maybe a mod can close it. Thanks a lot for the replies.

Problem is not my internet, neither is it with the server lag, that shows itself by high PING while still letting me enter battles. The browser version does put me in matches, but it's still very laggy for me, I'd much rather use the client. My laptop has recently been hit with the dreadful 100% disk usage problem, which has to potential to make any device freeze for several minutes even to the simplest of commands, rendering it pretty much useless. I tried multiple tips and suggestions on how to fix that, still to no avail. Maybe this is the cause of my problem, although now it's so bad that I can barely even enter the game.

I'll just keep waiting I guess.

I cannot join any battle (temporary topic)

Loading screen never finishes loading, it just moves to the end of the screen and restarts back at the middle, then does the same thing over and over again. The game is downloaded on my desktop and that's how I play it. This has been happening for several hours now, since the release of the Gauss turret. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. -
Lol

Open, but will likely run slower than a snail unless you have a good PC.
-
Cost of upgrading is still very expensive, this isn't something non-buyers could afford with ease, let alone low ranked players. Brutus had great potential, and I'm pretty disappointed.
-
My advice may not be very helpful, but I suggest you buy the module if Magnum is being a real pain. They used to blast my tank in mere seconds, but now after finally getting some protection, they fear me when I approach.

There's a good chance this topic will be closed. However, what he means by turret of the month, is how developers cleverly buff the stats of one turret to significantly increase sales of it, then nerf it using the excuse that it's too "unbalanced" because of many complaints. After that's done, they would start playing with the parameters of a different turret, making it a more attractive option for players to flock to before it gets nerfed again. It's a cycle of creating unbalance to generate income, which sounds really bad at first, but if it does help keep the game running then we have to cope with it.

Depends on the map of course. 8 vs 8 in small maps is a real pain, teammates block your shots very frequently.
-
Look at the bright side, you'll only be experiencing half the agony now.

I have zero experience with Vulcan, as opposed to the 2 years I've been using Ricochet, so I'd recommend Rico due to my bias. This is seriously not an easy question to answer, since there's no turret that is just better than the other. It really does come down to your preferences in the end, whether you enjoy playing large maps or small maps, whether you're more into offense or defense, whether you like deathmatch battles or team battles, etc... Ricochet is a turret that does really good in close encounters, and has an alteration which helps it take down long-range targets. Vulcan on the other hand, performs incredibly well at long ranges, and used to be very bad for close range fights, but now after the dps buff it can defend itself better. Rico can be of use in both team battles and DM, while Vulcan I believe is not meant for latter and is mainly good for team battles only. Good luck with whatever turret you choose, it's all just a learning experience, and a matter of getting used to new mechanics.
